Sometimes sacrificing your heart isn’t enough. Lily escapes with Salem and Destino to shifter territory, where deception lurks around every corner. With the Queen of Jacoba unable to rule, too much responsibility falls to Lily, who realizes she will never be the princess the shifters want. However, she quickly learns that she might just be the ruler they need. Mating with Prince Salem wasn’t in … with Prince Salem wasn’t in the plan, but now that Lily’s fallen for him, her marriages to Prince Destino and Prince Alexavier are put to the test. Some of the questions were answered in this book. Last book was very disheartening as Prince Alexavier was a complete jerk. I liked how things worked out in this book. Des (Destino) seems to be the one that keeps his head. Salem is ruled by his love for his mate. Lily is the center of each of their lives. It shows you the distrust that each territory has for each other. Lily has been hated by the Vampire people, treated like a second class citizen by the Fae (who are basically her people) and she is waiting for the shifters to kill her. I would say all in all she has a right to whine. I am looking forward to the next book. I want to see how retirement will be for King Ronin. I would recommend that you start with the first book as each book brings you closer to what Lily, Des, Lexi and Salem are trying to accomplish. Super
Malicious Prince is a decent read. While this third story ended at a decent point it felt as though the characters digressed.
The previous investment in the characters and growth didn’t realize in this book. I felt something was missing in the characters depth and plot line.
Grammatical, the reading was smooth.
I look forward to the next book and look for more character and plot line depth and growth.

This was an interesting take on the non-relationship between these factions. Each group thought they were superior to the others.
Secrets abound in this story and as each is revealed he stoy just keeps getting better. If you are looking for a sweet steamy read this is not it. It is like a steady occasional bump in the road with a rising heat.
Well worth reading.

Mary E.Twomey has written a 5-star book that is full of twists and turns, betrayal rejection, heartbreak, and emotional hurts.
Lily is a Fae and is married to another Fae who is Alex but she has done something when younger and did not tell him and he has found out what it is and he walks away from her., mated to a vampire who is Des, and soon to be mated to a shifter who is Salem, but things are not as they seem. As they are on the way back home they were attacked and Des is hurt bad and needs blood to survive. There is nowhere to get blood so Lily gives him some. This form a bond with them unbeknown to them. Salem knows that his mating to Lily will cause trouble with his people but they all want to bring all the different territories together.
Can Alex forgive Lily for not telling him about her past, or will he walk away for good?
Can Lily, Des, and Salem put the plan together and have it work or will everything they have done be for nothing?
This book was a page-turner and I could not put it down until I finished. I would recommend it to anyone.

A more indepth look into this series. The plot is really intriguing and well developed.
It is a fast moving story with plenty of layers to it. You shift between liking some characters
then not liking them.
Overall the way the heroine is written really makes this story enjoyable as she is strong and independent and a reasonable thinker.
This is a must read series that you won’t be sorry you bought.

In the third book, we visit Jacoba where Lilya must confront her fears of being attacked again by a shifter. She is settling in with Destino and getting to know Salem better. Alex has stayed behind. Lily has to win over her future brother in law while the Queen is in a coma.
I love how Mary pulls you in with her characters. I couldn’t put the book down. Glad there is another coming.

This picks up right as Salem, Des, Lily, and her (unconscious) father are on their way to Shifter territory. Much like the previous 2 books we get an inside look at the territory they are in as well as Lily’s relationship with the matching guy is developed. Of course there are twists and turns along the way as well as shocking revelations. I enjoyed the plot line for Salem’s family and how down to earth they were compared to the other mens’ families. The relationship between Ronin and Lily was precious in a father-daughter sort of way. I didn’t like how the shifters just completely accepted Lily in the end with no conflict whatsoever or dissension. I also don’t understand how Salem’s brother managed to miss Salem’s 1 bright blue eye from mating with Lily. The flash forward in the epilogue was great ending.

Title: Malicious Prince
Author: Mary E. Twomey
Genre: Reverse Harem Fantasy Romance
**RECEIVED ARC FOR HONEST REVIEW**
This is the third book in this series and yes you need to read the first two. This was kind of a wrap up of Lily and her Princes: Destino, Alex, and Salem.
I have got to say this book disappointed me. The first book she went to Des’s kingdom and had to deal with all that drama when she married him. The second she married Alex in his and her kingdom, they were childhood friends, and had to deal with that drama. This book is about Salem and his kingdom and that drama. Salem takes off for some time and then the whole bringing the kingdoms together, which is the whole point, is anticlimactic. Lily and Salem marry there is a little talk of politics and the end.
All this fuss and drama and then it falls flat. Des and Salem seem to be the only ones who love her but even that falls flat. You read their reactions and emotions but you just don’t feel it. Except when Lily spoke to a dying queen Butcher (Salem’s mom) when she was in a coma. That brought a tear to the eye.
Romance? Didn’t really feel it.
What happened with Alexs’ dad? His mom? Does Lily and Alex ever consummate their relationship?
The story and characters were ok.
