While Malcolm Hyde may look like your very own personal Jesus, he’s anything but a saint. Covered in tattoos and leather, he’s a smoking hot biker and nothing but trouble. As the president of the Dirty Aces MC, Malcolm is known for being cold and calculating. One bad decision – getting into business with the wrong person – is all it takes to bring down the entire MC. It’s … entire MC. It’s happened before to his predecessor, which is why Malcolm refuses to let it happen again on his watch. He doesn’t trust anyone except for the few men who wear the same ace of spades patch on their back.
And that’s exactly why he doesn’t ever take his eyes off of me – the new girl. I never intended to make an enemy out of Malcolm or the MC when I was sent to steal everything I could from them.
After Malcolm finds out what I’ve been doing, he’s furious and shows no mercy until I spill all of my secrets, ones that could very well end my life. That’s when he makes me a surprising offer – he’s willing to take care of all of my problems, and the only thing he’s asking for in return is for me to completely surrender myself to him.
Spending two weeks in bed with a bad boy biker sounds more like a reward than a punishment.
There’s just one little catch – once he claims my body, there’s no guarantee he won’t steal my heart too.

If you followed the “Savage Kings MC” series, and read the last book, then you’ll recognize the Dirty Aces from Cedric’s story where we were first introduced. If not, don’t worry. “Dirty Aces MC” is a spinoff and “Malcolm” is the first book. What a great introduction to what appears to be a terrific series. Lane Hart and D. B. West gave us Malcolm, the president of The Dirty Aces MC, who is a sexy, charismatic, jerk and Naomi, a waitress who winds up in a situation she can’t seem to get out of. The drama, intrigue, antagonism, and chemistry that surround these two kept me turning pages from the beginning when I was sucked into the storyline. I can’t wait for Devlin’s story which is next.
Dirty Aces is right! These guys aren’t like any MC I’ve read lately and I have to say I totally love them! Malcolm is the Prez and he values trust, loyalty and money. Naomi’s life is on the line so she is thrown into a world she knows nothing about to appease their common enemy. But things aren’t always what they seem and they have to get over all the betrayal so they can figure out their version of a happy ending. I loved this book and I can’t wait for the next!

Malcolm is most certainly a reality laden romance story. It had me at the cover. If you like steamy hot bad boys with a soft heart for the right lady, this is definitely the book to read. It is also a great start to this series that is all about the Dirty Aces MC.
As the president of the Dirty Aces, Malcolm cannot show any weakness, and Naiomi just may be his undoing. From their first meeting, it is clear that Malcolm and Naiomi are right for each other. However, her shady father, an encounter with another MC member, a deal that she eventually makes with Malcolm, and some other drama makes any relationship between them nearly impossible. There is a realness about this story that keeps you engaged. The book is an easy entertaining read. Devlin’s story is next in the series, and I look forward to reading his story.

Malcolm & Naomi Share Incredible Chemistry In This Dirty MC Story! Though Perhaps Not Surprising In An MC Romance, There Are Issues Of Sharing & Cheating That May Make Some Uncomfortable.
This is book one of the Dirty Aces MC series. It includes:
1. Malcolm
2. Devlin
3. Nash
4. Silas
5. Wirth
6. Fiasco
ABOUT THE DIRTY ACES:
Fans of the Savage Kings MC series will note that the Dirty Aces appear in book twelve of that series, titled Cedric.
The Dirty Aces MC makes their money on drugs and gambling. Their boat operation offers nightly cruises for patrons to enjoy a night of gambling and drinking. The former Ace of Spades MC had imploded due to bad decisions. There had been some trouble a few years back when their last president, Lowell, had screwed them over, but the Dirty Aces are working to maintain a good operation these days under Malcolm Hyde’s strong leadership, with Nash as his VP. Decisions are all made by a vote, so if the brothers lose confidence in the leadership for whatever reason, they only need to call a meeting to remove and replace their leaders.
Though the decision to elect Malcom to be their leader was an easy one, he doesn’t take it for granted. He cannot ask for their loyalty is he doesn’t earn it. Their operations have been very successful for the last two years. Malcolm and Nash have been eying some expansion now that things are more settled. Bringing in new blood means more income, but more importantly, it means power and respect. Nash has identified five MC’s that might be good candidates for patch overs, and the guys are ready to get down to business and see if any of the MC’s are a match for them. That means some getting to know one another and entertaining.
IN THIS BOOK:
The story opens in a hot an sticky late June. It takes place in Sea Breeze and Carolina Beach, North Carolina.
Naomi Dawson, twenty-one, is in over her head after her grandparents die. With nowhere else to turn, she goes to the only remaining family she has left – her father. Harry Cox had never cared to be part of her life. Her mother had been a mere problem to him and he had no need for an illegitimate daughter. Naomi was happy she hadn’t been raised by him. She wasn’t enamored by his high and mighty mobster lifestyle. She knew it would mean trouble if he caught on to what she was really after, but she felt she had no other choices.
Malcolm Hyde, thirty-five, is cold and calculating. Tall and tattooed, he could have any woman he wants, but Malcolm doesn’t operate that way. He isn’t into monogamy and doesn’t do hookups at work, and unlike most of his friends, Malcolm refuses to share. He currently has an arrangement with three different women, giving him options when he feels the need to scratch an itch, though it has been a while. He likes to keep that part of his life separate from his duties as president of the Dirty Aces MC. He keeps his modest one-bedroom beach cottage in Carolina Beach despite the fact he can afford something better now. He grew up penniless, and he never takes matters of finance lightly.
Calm and controlled, Malcolm isn’t quick to fly off the handle. He keeps his emotions in check with his perfected poker face. The Dirty Aces are the closest thing to a family he has ever had, and he takes his responsibility to the five men in the club seriously. They aren’t all the brightest, but they are his brothers. Each has his own strength. They all know what can happen without good leadership, and Malcolm won’t let his men down. One mistake is all it takes to destroy everything they have worked to rebuild.
When Malcolm first sees the new waitress, he cannot get her out of his mind. She looks like jailbait, but when he confirms she is of age he allows his mind to wonder. And when he discovers that Fiasco hired her, it really riles him up. Fiasco would only hire her for one reason, and Malcolm doesn’t share. Nor does he fool around with any of the women they employ. He tries to run Naomi off, force her to quit, but the stubborn beauty surprises him with her bold and fearless attitude. He becomes completely obsessed from afar, but when he discovers she is stealing from them he is filled with rage. Malcolm soon finds himself breaking all of his rules just to make Naomi his. His reckless attitude and hypocrisy don’t go unnoticed by the Aces. When his brothers begin to question his loyalty, things really get out of hand. They all blame Naomi for Malcolm’s uncharacteristic reckless behavior, and Malcolm has a hard time disagreeing. The couple eventually finds a happy ending.
Malcolm and Naomi share incredible chemistry in this dirty MC story. Though perhaps not surprising in an MC romance, there are issues of sharing and cheating that may make some uncomfortable. Circumstances surrounding it sort of excuse it, though. If you hold on until the end it isn’t as bad as it might otherwise seem (though there is still some ambiguity). Naomi may be a little reckless, but overall she has her act together considering her circumstances. Malcolm has made something of himself given his background, though he does it illegally. He makes a great president, but when Naomi enters the picture he becomes unhinged. He also begins to soften a little by his standards. It is sweet to see him melt for the young thief.
It is probably the fact that he must bend some rules and finds himself wanting Naomi’s company in a monogamous relationship that so unsettles Malcolm, but it is unfortunately never addressed. It feels unresolved. *Spoilers* He separates work and his personal life, but in reality there will still be some level of overlap since the MC is his life. There is no reason given to believe he can remain level-headed. The personal growth he needs is never really explained. In the end things are only resolved between him and Naomi because he is caught red-handed, but in terms of the MC there is no resolution. Separately, his crew really overreacted. It was sad to see that two incidents which might seem somewhat commonplace in an MC led to such harsh measures. There was no attempt to address the root of the problem instead. And the crew was terribly hypocritical in their judgement. You might have expected them to relate better to how Malcolm was feeling since most of them are more emotional in nature.
I really enjoyed Greg the gas station attendant. He was a nice addition, but nevertheless the last quarter of this book really lost me. It felt anticlimactic. *Spoilers* Malcolm’s character really loses credibility there because he turns into a shell of his former self. It is a radical overreaction. I see why it drags on for the sake of the story, but it seems out of character. There are hints of problems with him in the MC, which we don’t see, so it is hard to understand what he big picture was. And given Naomi was not in the picture, one might assume one of the six men would have figured out that her leaving didn’t exactly resolve things and therefore she wasn’t the real problem. It appears Malcolm had eventually gotten his act together at work, but it is unclear how. One might have expected that if he figured things out there he might also have figured out his personal life.
One final issue merits mention. That the waitresses were apparently ringing up orders on the boat was a huge error in judgement. For cash transactions such as that, one would expect the bartender to ring up the orders and the waitresses to use bank. The bartender would have the ability to pull off what Naomi did, but a waitress would not have had access.
Malcolm and Naomi’s story sets up the Dirty Aces series with a calculating MC president getting caught up in love when he catches a beautiful thief. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Malcolm and Naomi. I rate this book 3.5 stars.

Definitely different from the other MC books that Lane Hart writes, took some time to warm up to Malcolm and still not sure what to think of him-lol, I know one thing I will continue to read the books on the Dirty Aces.
This is book one in the Dirty Aces series and it features Malcolm and Naomi. Malcolm is rough, tough and as foul mouthed as the rest. Naomi is nice and just wants to live a peaceful life. With Harry as a father, the cards are stacked against her until she crosses Malcolm. When these guys find their “old lady”, the gentlemen come out. OK, not gentlemen exactly but as close as they can get.
There are some moments in the beginning that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue to read because of the crass attitudes of this MC. These moments are fleeting and did not continue throughout the story. I’m definitely glad I read through to the end. This series looks to be a good one but it’ll be hard to get better than the Savage Kings.
Welcome to Dirty Aces MC Club House, Malcolm & Naomi’s story from start to finish full of twists and turns filled action, tension, suspense a plus sizzling HOT chemistry. A must listen or read. I was given this free review copy audiobook. Excellent narration from Tom Campbell Written well Lane and D.B
This is the first book in a series that will probably be explosive based on this one! This dark MC romance is told in dual POV with likable, relatable main characters and a good supporting cast. Malcolm – strong, focused, president of his MC, has his moments, cares for Naomi but trusts no one. Naomi came into the club under false pretenses which doesn’t give them the best start and creates strife within the club. She makes the most out of difficult life situations and never complains – keeps it moving. They connect but when it all goes downhill, there’s nowhere to go but up – if they give each other another chance. “Malcolm” has realistic dialogue & emotions – jealousy, possessiveness, vulnerability and love. Read it in one sitting!

Naomi has stolen money from her father, a terrible man. She gets a job as a waitress at the Dirty Aces MC bar. She didn’t think they would catch her stealing from them. Malcolm, the club president makes her an offer to take care of everything if she will spend two weeks in bed and totally submit to him. Doesn’t sound like punishment to her to be with a hot biker but Malcolm has not intention of letting Naomi go anywhere but with him.

I had to buy Malcom even though I had recieved it for Free to Give My True & Honest Review, but couldn’t download it properly & I’ve been following & reading all the MC families by Lane Hart and D.B West.
And Malcom was just as great as all the others from The Savage Kings.
We did meet Malcom very slightly at the end of Cedric after he & his brothers renamed their MC from Ace of Spades to Dirty Aces MC after all but 6 of the remaining brothers survived after the betrayal from Lowell.
So that leaves them all not trusting anyone & that definitely includes Any new comers ie like Gorgeous Girl Naomi who persuades Dick obsessed Fiasco to take her on as the new waitress for their Casino Boat.
Though it wasn’t it by choice it was on demand – threat by her biological father Mafia boss Harold Cox as she took & sold something precios of his Now, he wants payback from her but also for him to get back at Malcom.
Things did go smoothly for her to start with well sort of even though not in the attire as she turned up in.
Then less than a week later her life changes again after Malcom corner’s her.
Her Punishment wasn’t much of a punishment during that period of time it was at the end of it after he started listening to his MC Brothers & not at his own heart & that was her punishment but it was also his own punishment….
Can’t wait to see how things progress between them when we see them all again in Devlin’s episode…
Well, as sweet as an MC book can be. I tore through it. The girl was independent and the guy was a loveable asshole. Just like many men in real life. Read it for a steamy HEA.
Lane Hart and D.B. West have done it again with another great start in their newest MC series. From the Savage Kings to the Dirty Aces, only maybe just a little bit dirtier! One thing you can be sure of with Malcolm, he is not your sweet MC bad boy, he is the president of the Dirty Aces and a real bada**. But as in all good MC reads, even bad boys can be tamed, and Naomi working to make it on her own tames Malcolm into wanting to settle down without even trying. That is not to say that he is not still the bada** president we come to expect. Malcolm and Naomi’s story was hot, sexy, intense, and filled with drama. For MC lovers, it is one not to be missed. **I was gifted a copy of “Malcolm” via Booksprout and give my review voluntarily based on my reading** 4.5 Stars!
I love this writing duo and am a huge fan of their Savage Kings MC series (and I just discovered they are starting a South Carolina Chapter! Just pre-order the first two books!).
Anywho I love their seamless writing and one clicked this as soon as I could!
The Dirty Aces MC have reinvented themselves from the Ace Of Spades and Malcom is the President. He finds it hard to trust anyone outside his close circle after getting his fingers burned and then Naomi comes crashing into his life.
The chemistry is hot and the push and pull is…….gah!!!
Loved it!
We have some romance and you might even cry. Malcolm is president of the Dirty Aces MC and trust no one. Naomi is on her own when she goes to her in strangled fathers house, but now she owes him. Harold Cox is a mobster and he is out for blood. What will Naomi do now? Will she be able to pull it off? What will the MC guys do to her? Why can’t she get Malcolm out of her head? The guys are pissed at him what should he do?

Hot and Sexy but a bit of a hot mess also
Malcolm is the first book in the Dirty Aces MC series by Lane Hart and D.B. West. After reading this book I had to take several days to just let everything settle with me before writing this review. I have read several other books by this writing duo so I was excited to read the first in a new series about a new MC. This is Malcolm and Naomi’s story and it is a bit of a hot mess. I did like the story-line but not the main characters too much. Even taking into account Malcolm’s strong silent and brooding personality and Naomi’s reason for doing what she is I just could not connect with either for more than a minute before wanting to kick him and shake her.
I ended up making it to the end of this book because of some of the other characters and the steamy sizzling hot sexy chemistry between Malcolm and Naomi.
I decided that I am coming down on the fence with this this book. I am going to read the next in this series to see if I can connect better with the men and women of the Dirty Aces MC.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
** spoiler alert ** Malcolm doesn’t trust many. Naomi is desperate to find a way to get out of her dad’s deal. They burn hot, but will they burn each other? Will Malcolm be ready to step up before it is too late?
Loved the fire between these two! I didn’t blame Malcolm for struggling to trust those around him, but loved when he stepped up and wanted to prove he was what she wanted and needed. I loved how Naomi was determined to not be after the money, despite the fact that she could have taken that step! Good read and cannot wait to read the next one!
Lane Hart and DB West have done it yet again with Malcolm and Naomi’s story! These two were explosive together, even before Malcolm made his demands to have Naomi in his bed.
I couldn’t put this book down and am so excited for the next book in the series!

Loved it. I’ve always loved Lane Hart but this book – wow!. This is the first book in the new Dirty Aces MC series. The Savage King series was a long series with many amazing books and we first met Malcolm in Cedric’s book and we got a sneak at the Dirty Aces. This story is about Malcolm and Naomi. Malcolm is just the right mixture of alpha and broody, quick tempered and sweet. Once I started I was in all the way til I finished. Loved,it.

An incredible, exciting, steamy romance! Awesome characters, feisty and entertaining! Ready for the next book!!!

I , personally, adore an addictive MC romance and that is exactly what Lane Hart & DB West have gifted us with. These two extremely creative & talented Authors have created a realistically designed MC romance as well as a new MC Brotherhood that you are definitely going to want to read.
Malcolm Hyde and Naomi Dawson met under unique circumstances, however, they aren’t going to let you down with their dramatic scenarios and steamy chemistry. Oh no, things are just heating up between this MC President and his rivals illegitimate Daughter.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced readers copy of Malcolm in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion.
I believe that Devlin is the 2nd installment to The Dirty Aces MC. Either way, I know that I will devour that one too.
