Daryl Banner wrote the perfect Holiday novella with Making the Naughty List. Giving the beleaguered Daniel Irving the necessary push to want more out of life, his timely encounter with Cass Lataun (clever name! for you fans of word games) could not have been more welcomed. With sharp wit and subtle innuendos, Banner gives Daniel and Cass the fuel to their burgeoning fire with the right amount of hope and joy mixed in. I just loved how Daniel finally found the courage to come clean with his parents and himself as Cass burrows his way into his heart in only a matter of days.
With a bit of Christmas magic, disappointment at the realization that Cass may have only been a figment of Daniel’s imagination, the way the story unfolds at it’s conclusion was nothing short of wonderful.
A truly sweet story with the right amount of steam, Making the Naughty List is about never giving up and finding that wishes can come true when you least expect it.
5 miraculous stars!
A perfect and quick holiday read filled with magic, chemistry, and the chaos of spending the holidays with your family. A fake boyfriend situation with some hilarious one liners that had me laughing out loud. The story itself happens over 3 to 4 days during Christmas and ends with an epilogue 15 years in the future. Daniel is feeling pretty invisible and insignificant when it comes to his family until Cass comes around. Cass is just the type of guy Daniel needs in his life. Cass provides Daniel with some new perspective. When Cass reveals a little something something about himself, I automatically knew the direction the author was going in and I loved it. It’s a storyline/plot twist I haven’t seen in awhile. This was just a great, fun, holiday read; however, I had one small issue was left unresolved in relation to Daniel’s career.
Daniel and Cass’s story is a Christmas magic kind of story. I just love what they did for each other’s lives. This book is full of love, magic and Christmas spirit!
A quick, entertaining read!
Making The Naughty List is a light-hearted, very enjoyable, Christmas Romance.
Daniel is sick of being ‘invisible’, he is over Christmas, and hates his job. In walks Cass, a hot, muscular, sexy, live in the moment guy, and turns Daniels life upside down.
This novella takes us on the journey as Cass gives Daniel the things he really wants for Christmas.
I have never read anything from Daryl Banner I didn’t like, this is no exception. It is a quick read, and full of Christmas Magic.
I really enjoyed this book. When Daniel meets his mystery man for the first time I felt like I was right there with him. It was the perfect meet cute. Cass helps Daniel to realize his worth and how much better life can be with his family if he would just open up and talk to them. This story was swoony, sexy, funny and HOT!
I really enjoyed this unexpected Xmas novel! It’s a bit different and a bit quirky, brilliantly written novel/la. Cass and Daniel have a magical ever after!
This was such a fun, hot and moving read! I think that everyone in their life at least once felt like Daniel. Like you have to make your family happy and not worry anyone with your current status. Cass comes into his life and shows him that he should just be himself no matter what. I was so happy that there was an amazing epilogue at the end of this book. Ah just pick up this book and read it! You will not regret it.
Short, sweet and steamy!
Daniel and Cass are perfect for one another. Daryl did a great job with their story. Readers can take away something meaningful from this story. Loving Daryl’s books!!!!
