Gwen Alexandra does not need a man in her life. Especially not a man who looks like Chris Hemsworth and Joe Manganiello’s love child. One wearing leather, riding a Harley, and covered in tattoos.
Gwen can bet every pair of her Manolo’s that Cade Fletcher is trouble. From the moment she meets him, the attraction sizzles between them. Gwen has a problem when it comes to attractive men in … men in motorcycle clubs. The last one she got involved with almost killed her.
After healing physically, Gwen decides to get a new start in a small town, half a country away from the man who nearly cost her her life. She isn’t in town five minutes when she runs into Cade, a man that is too sexy and dangerous for his own good.
She tries to keep away from him, to ignore the attraction between them. But the biker has other ideas, soon she is in way over her head, and her heart, and her life are in danger once again.

OMG!!!
Liberty one of the best MC books I have ever read!
When I say it’s awesome I mean it. I simply discover Making the Cut
By sheer luck. I devoured the audiobook like no one’s business. Then I bought all the other books in the series. I soon devoured those.
Now I have read my fair share of biker books, but Making the Cut is a huge standout. The writing is off the chains extraordinary!! The storyline just has it all!
Great new series. I cannot wait to meet more of these characters. This book was absolutely funny, suspenseful and totally hot!! I need more SOT!!
Excellent book. Sex, Love and a story line. This book isn’t about sex only, if it was I wouldn’t read it. It does have back bone.
I’ve read a lot of MC series can’t say this is a fave.
I expect bikers to be uber alpha but I didn’t find anything charming or endearing about Cade at all.
A couple of arguments he had with Gwen he came off being immature and childish and sorry being called a bitch doesn’t sit well with me.
Gwen deserves a friggin medal for all the trauma she went through, it’s one just one after another.
This story was unnecessarily too long and did drag in most part.
I did however like the friendship between Gwen and Amy.
Can’t wait to see what Anne Malcom has planned for this series. Gwen is a kick ass women, glad she found her man.
Anne Malcom, what have you done to me???
Wow, I don’t think I can fully explain how much I loved this book.
Everything about it was spectacular. The women, Gwen, Amy, Rosie, Lucy, and the rest, they are all so relatable. Anne Malcom had me laughing so hard, I was snorting.
The men….. Oh, my god. Those men from the Sons of Templar were to die for! Alpha deliciousness.
Cade, Cade, Cade….. wherever Ms. Malcom got her inspiration for this man, I hope he truly exists and I can go and hitch a ride on the back of his motorcycle.
Anne Malcom has such a magnificant way of telling us a story. It amazes me how well she can write emotional and powerful scenes with these character and get us to feel and truly absorb the entirety of it.
This book had my heart going all over the place. I laughed so hard, I got pretty bad anxiety at one point, my heart broke for several character, I loved so hard.
I was there, I felt it, I smelled it, I saw it… all of it. That’s the kind of writing Ms. Malcom gives you.
I loved this story. I really can’t say that enough times. I absolutely adored Gwen and Cade. And, now I’m anxious to read about Amy and Brock…
Thank you for another truly amazing story, Ms. Malcom.
And, a big thank you to those special ladies that introduced me to the unique and powerful writing that is Anne Malcom.
I love this story! This is the first book in Anne Malcolms MC series and it is wonderful….as are ALL of her books. This one though…if I had it in paperback it would be falling apart from being reread so often. It just never gets old. If you like an Alpha male and a kick ass female, this is the book for you!!
This was my first book by this author and she now has a new fan!!!
I absolutely loved this book. I enjoyed it so much I immediately one clicked the other books in the series
I really enjoyed Gwen and Cade’s stories and the dialogue between Gwen and her girlfriends is some of the funniest I have ever read.
I loved the dirty talking alpha Cade and how far he goes to win Gwen over.
Highly recommend this read to anyone after a MC book with a twist
This book (and writer) is often mentioned by the fans of Kristen Ashley’s books so that made me very curious, because I am a big Kristen Ashley’s fan too. And now I’m so glad that I read this story because I really loved it!
‘Making the cut’ has all the ingredients that I love in my books. You have Cade the handsome, dominant alpha man who falls for Gwen, a stubborn, sassy woman and then you have their friends and family who all bring their own unique self to the story. There were also some emotional moments, mixed with a little bit of suspense. This story is told mostly from Gwen POV but when the situation asked for it, the writer gave us Cade’s POV too and I really appreciated that!
I will definitely read more books of this writer.
