Wowsa! This is one steamy romance!
I have to admit… I wasn’t sure I was going to like this book when I started it… but I absolutely loved it!
Jacob and Jessica have had a really rough year. Jacob was in a skiing accident that left him a paraplegic. He’s been seeing a counselor and having physical therapy but has hit a roadblock. One that he hopes his best friend, Chad can help with. It’s a unique idea with amazing results for everyone. Add in that it’s so hot it may melt your kindle and it’s a really good book.

I am in love with this story as it has such an original storyline based on a man’s perspective about his disability. I know women find many things about a man that are attractive, and he didn’t get that. It was so romantic and steamy i was so very sorry when I finished the book. Loved it!
There was so much to cry about in this story, but also so much to rejoice about! Jake and Jessica had an idyllic life, until one day everything changed. Chad was such a perfect addition to the story, and the danger to them kept me on edge. The emotions throughout this book brought out so much empathy, but it also made me feel such warmth and love. I loved the way it ended, and don’t forget the healing power of love!

In this book we meet Jake Hanson, Jessica Hanson, and Chad Wilson. What would you do if you came home different then when you left? Jake Hanson has to ask himself this very question. After coming home disabled after his last mission he wonders if he can be enough for his wife anymore. So he comes up with a solution. Not only to make him feel like a man again but help him show his wife she is a desired woman. Jessica will do anything for her husband but she wonders if this will help their marriage or destroy it. What happens when she desires them both for all time not just a one time thing. Chad never knew this was something he needed or even wanted in his life. He wonders what will happen when Jake wants to go back to just him and his wife. Will he be out in the cold or has he found a happiness he never knew existed? Can they all find a HEA or will this be to much for them all to bear?
This is an amazing story. It really shows you how someone feels but doesn’t know how to express how they are feeling. It does have it’s ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don’t want to ruin it for any other readers. I will tell you this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Great, interesting characters. Unique situation and ending.
I liked that Chad wouldn’t let Jake get away with not trying to expand his new normal. Jessie was able to love Chad and give him what he needed and not go along with the menage just because she loves her husband.
When Jake is injured in a skiing accident, and his legs are paralyzed, he feels less than a whole man, emasculated. It’s been 6 months since his accident, and it’s taken a huge toll not just on him, but on his wife, Jessica, and on their marriage and their sex life. So when his therapist brings up the idea of a ménage as a solution, it piques Jake’s interest and soon he’s suggesting it to his best friend, Chad, and to his wife. Chad is a womanizing playboy in his own words, and only uses women for one thing, never bothering to invest in a relationship or emotions. So when his best friend comes up with a proposal for him to not only get to be with the woman he’s always had a crush on, but that there are no strings involved, he’s all for it. Now if only Jessica’s insecurities about the idea would disappear.
I could really feel Jessica’s uncertainty at the start of their arrangement. She loved her husband, though, and just wanted him to be happy. She had never seen Chad as anything other than a good friend before, though, so the thought of being with him was strange at first. She was definitely not a casual person, so this arrangement was all definitely not something she was interested in. Until feelings started developing, and suddenly, things weren’t looking so casual. And when Chad is badly injured thanks to his dangerous FBI job, what will become of the threesome’s newfound relationship?
I am pretty picky when I rate ménage stories, because they are rarely well-balanced between the physical and the emotional. They tend to be straight erotica with little to no emotional component, but I am happy to say that is not the case with Make Me Whole. Jessica and Jake were already happily in love at the start, and Chad was already their best friend, so the feelings were already in place. It was their evolution from simply friends to lovers to much more that was so engaging about this read. R.C. Matthews did a superb job with Make Me Whole. It’s not only erotic as hell, but the emotional, character and relationship development is fantastic. I can’t wait for more from this author!
A well-written story of two men and the woman they both love. Jake Hanson lost the use of his legs and does not feel like a man anymore he asks his wife Jessica Hanson and his best friend FBI agent Chad Wilson to enter into a menage with him. This story has danger, drama, suspense, and one very evil man who will do anything to harm these three. This story kept my interest throughout. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I thought it was really good. It took me on an emotional rollercoaster. I loved the three characters of Jessie, Jake, and Chad. They were believable and relatable. I liked this different take on a menage and how it helped the characters to grow in their way of thinking and confidence. I will definitely be looking to read more by this author.

When things get dicey the composition of the relationship becomes strained. Will they be able to continue as a triad and reap its benefits?

The storyline was beautifully written, the plot flowed easily from page to page and the characters were written with such great detail and depth that I had a very hard time putting this book down! I was so invested in this story that I felt like Jessie, Jake and Chad jumped from the pages and pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!
Jake feels broken after a disastrous accident left him with paralysis and in a wheel chair for the rest of his life. Even with his beautiful wife Jessie and best friend Chad by his side he was extremely depressed until his therapist gave him an idea to spice things up not only in the bedroom but in general.
Chad has been best friends with Jake for over twenty years but because of his job and a tragic loss he has become a bit of a player. Chad is shocked when Jake asks him for a big favor. With everything Jake has been through and the tight bond they have, Chad asks for one favor in return if he agrees.
Jessie is a beautiful, loving person who is madly in love with Jake. She refused to leave his side after the accident and helped him any way she could but she knew it wasn’t enough. When Jake tells her his idea she is reluctant at first but finally agrees. What happens next may surprise you.
When I first read the blurb I wasn’t sure if I’d like this story but OMFG I loved all of it. This is a story of three broken people that learn to heal from each other. Where one is weak the others are strong and there to help each other out no matter what.
Really liked the story of each character and how they came together. The story itself was a refreshing twist. I also liked that there was an alternate ending.
I like reading this authors books and look forward to reading more. It has a great storyline and great characters to read about plus its steamy hot to.So I hope you all enjoy it to. And happy reading everyone.

An extremely hot erotic menage read. There was a good development of characters, (you get to understand the backgrounds of each character and their motivations) but it seemed like there was sex, sex and more sex. I was almost thankful for the mafia element as it gave the story something else to read. As you read it, you realize the story could take one of two endings. The author even admits to writing both endings. Which ending does she choose?
I enjoyed this book – the men each had their own personalities which I appreciated. Each also had both similar and different feelings for the situation which made it seem more real. The beginning set up was a bit far fetched (as in a bit too smooth to come together) but it did all work out and become more feasible for me at any rate. I’d have liked to see it have a few more details mixed in throughout but over all I thought the relationship between the three of them was believable and I do like HEAs
