Welcome to the Omega Celibacy Club. No sex until graduation. No unexpected pregnancies. No alphas needed.SIMONEven if it’s not politically correct to say so anymore, everyone still knows that alphas and omegas are ruled by their biology. Sure, it’s the twenty-first century now and most people have given up believing in archaic ideas like fated mates, but just take a look at college drop out rates … college drop out rates and you’ll see that some things haven’t changed at all. Alphas still dominate, omegas still submit, and horny college kids in heat let their hormones dictate poor choices every day.
Not me and my roommates, though. Not if I have anything to say about it. Too many of our classmates here at Preston College have gotten knocked up and then dropped out. Given up their goals and dreams just because they’ve met an alpha with a big… ego. The point here is that there’s only one surefire way to avoid that trap, and that’s why I started the Omega Celibacy Club. No sex until graduation. No unexpected pregnancies. No alphas needed.
And no, I’m not just saying that because I’ve been hung up on one particular alpha for approximately ever. I’m totally over Hunter King. I mean, not that there was ever anything to get over. Our families have been friends forever and he dated my sister back when I was still just a kid, but even if me and my right hand may have pined for him once upon a time, I barely ever think of him anymore.
I mean never. I never think of him anymore.
Did I mention I’m over it?
HUNTER
Weddings are a great place to get laid, but when I show up for my ex’s big day, I’m hoping to get a lot more than that. I’ve never admitted it, but the reason I broke up with her all those years ago was because of her brother. One look at little Simon Lawson and I was a goner. Of course I didn’t say anything though, not back then. I didn’t touch him. Always kept my distance. I had to, because he was just a kid… but he’s all grown up now.
I’ve bided my time for years, but now I’m ready to see if the feeling is mutual. And if it is, I know exactly what I want. I want Simon. I want a family. And I want it forever. And even though I’ve never been the kind of alpha who imposes his will on omegas, when I finally realize just what it is that my omega needs, I know I’ll do anything at all to make that forever happen.
In fact, I’ll do everything.
MAKE ME GIVE IN is the first book in the Omega Celibacy Club series, a contemporary omegaverse world where the only thing stronger than an alpha’s will is his desire to keep his omega happy, and where even omegas who don’t believe in fated mates sometimes still find them.

my review is for the anthology., the whole series in one book.
Not so celibate Omegas 😉
I love omegaverse stories and these four omegas are just such fun. Simon is in the first book and he notices that many omegas their are letting their biology get the best of them and wind up pregnant during their college years and drop out of school. Simon doesn’t want to see himself or his 3 other omega roommates to give up on their dreams of a career and end up taking care of children and tgeir Alpha forever.. Simon wants he and his friends to swear off sex until graduation. No Alphas, no knots, no pregnancies. They form a club, order shirts, and swear to remain celibate.
Unfortunately, there are unexpected heats, sexy fated mates; Alpha childhood crushes, Alpha professors, Alpha coma patients, and Alpha football jocks to tempt even the strongest omega.

A nice easy, low angst story.
Make Me Give In is my first Angel Knots book but I’ve listened to several by Charlie David. This story was so hot I thought my phone might catch on fire while I was listening to it.
The story is told in first person, with chapters alternating between Simon and Hunter. Simon and his other omega friends don’t want to give up their career goals and become tied down to an alpha so they form the Omega Celibacy Club. They agree not to have sex until they have finished school and are on their way to achieving their career goals.
This is all well and good until Simon’s secret crush, Hunter, comes to help him when he has an unexpected heat. What Simon doesn’t know is that Hunter has wanted him for years but had to wait until Simon got a little older before saying anything.
I really don’t think I’ve read an MPREG story where the sexy time was any hotter than it is in this book. Just WOW! But in addition to that we have Hunter who is the perfect alpha. All he cares about is the wellbeing of his omega. This is a great, low angst, fluffy story.
I love Charlie David’s audiobooks. I had just a tiny bit of trouble telling the difference between characters in this one. It’s possible that it was me, though, because I was performing household chores while listening. However, that doesn’t usually distract me from what I’m listening to. In any case, this was a great book to listen to and I enjoyed it very much.
A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.
I love mpreg and fated mates and omegaverse in general. This story is a definite treat and kinda reminds me of college. Everyone has that story of the friend who dropped out and isn’t following their dreams so I was ready to jump in and see where this story leads.
Four roommates, four guys willing to make a pact to support each other. And when Simon, the leader and founder of the OCC, breaks the oath first? They forgive each other. Like Simon says, “And not to be too nitpicky about it, but really, could an oath of celibacy sworn on a porn DVD actually be considered binding?”
Haha! Be prepared for some laugh out loud antics, loyalty and super hot smexy scenes. And I mean really hot. Whew! I am hooked on the series and off to read Nolan’s story!

A different take on fated mates. I loved Simon and Hunter and the whole OCC!
I found this an endearing story and loved Simon and his desire to not get pregnant before graduation and throw his dreams away. Little does he know that fate has other ideas and I loved watching it all unfold! I found every character in this story unique, endearing and interesting and am totally hooked on the whole OCC and all four characters and can’t wait for each of their stories.
I loved Simon’s somewhat, second chance story. He has pined for Hunter since he first laid eyes on him when he was dating his sister and hasn’t been able to get him out of his head. Thankfully Hunter felt the same way and has waited patiently for his omega to grow up and come of age. When they are finally able to be together they realize they have a connection like no other and are actually rare and unique fated mates in a world that thought these connections were a myth. With a few issues and surprises along the way, Hunter and Simon are able to form a bond, love, and connection that will pull at your heartstrings and their coming together sets the pages on fire.
I loved all these characters and needed to keep reading the series as soon as I finished book one. I can’t wait for more and want to know every HEA for these 4 awesome omegas!!! I look forward to finding out what’s up with No-No Nolan and his weird behavior during Simon’s story 😉
Angel has created a band of characters that will have you laughing, longing and tripping up along with them! I love The OCC!

Fighting biology is never easy but I’m definitely on board if that’s what will bring you the most personal satisfaction and happiness. I liked the idea of fated mates and of omegas not letting their drive to submit, have babies, and focus only on child-rearing derail their career goals. While I didn’t think the story maintained its strength all the way through, it was a cute story that was full of sweetness and steam.
At the outset we’re introduced to very different omegas who will each get their own stories and I’d be willing to read them to see how each of them balance their desires with their dreams. I know dreams can change, that life circumstances show us that what we may have always wanted up to that point isn’t what we want from that moment going forward, but it’s how the change is accepted and made that makes for a compelling story. I don’t think this book met that challenge as well as it could have.
Hunter’s control and determination to have Simon completely on board with any relationship changes was admirable. I like that he didn’t let biological drives and lust completely take over. The way Simon used certain consequences as the relationship conflict was not my favorite. Nor was their lack of clear communication in conjunction with making decisions on the other person’s behalf. I think there could have been something more solid to create the angst and not immature relationship issues.
As for the steamy scenes, I’ll admit to skimming and even skipping quite a bit of it. I’ve rarely said there’s too much sex in a book but I think here there was. It was also kind of cringe-worthy in the writing of those scenes. If that were toned down or made more believable I’d have been a fan. As it is though, it just became a significant portion of the story that I didn’t give my full attention. With a sweet ending that magically fit Hunter and Simon’s new version of “perfection”, this wasn’t a bad read at all.
Very fun first installment in a series!
This was a fun story, and I liked Hunter and Simon. I expected more angst, after reading Simon’s opinions on mating and starting a family. Once he realized Hunter was his Alpha, Simon’s feelings changed. I still enjoyed their story, and I loved how Hunter wanted to make sure Simon’s dreams wouldn’t be sacrificed. I plan on sticking with this series to see how the other omega roommates find their own considerate alphas.
