It took Kevin and Ana ten years to find their happily ever after, and they can’t wait to claim each other as husband and wife. But when one thing after the next goes wrong, they begin to wonder if they’ll ever get to say their ‘I do’s’.As Ana starts to crumble under the stress, Kevin knows that he needs a plan. Her submission calms her, his control centers them both, and speeding up their path to … speeding up their path to matrimony seems to be the best course of action.
That is, if they can make it to the altar.

I needed more after Shame and this was perfect!! It was a quick read, expect the same dominance from Kevin as before. Anabelle is going crazy with the wedding planning, Erik knows exactly what to do to calm her down.
Absolutely loved this story.
Shame and Make It To The Altar
These were my first books by Fiona Cole and I read it blind, but of course the cover hints already the topic of the story.
It was a damn hot and steamy story, but also a lot more than that. It’s a fight against the expectations and moral condemnations of the society.
It’s a fight against oneself and the “not normal” desires and needs that causes isolation and depression.
I had a hard time to like the characters. Yes, they were young and they behavior could be excused at the beginning, but 10 years later? They annoyed the hell of me more than a few times.
Ana was like spoiled child most of the time and let the men in her life string along and suffer. Ok, maybe I’m a little biased because I was team Kev from the beginning . And when we are by Kev: I expected him to show backbone much earlier and let her back and forth behind. I mean shouldn’t he, as a dominant guy, has to have a strong personality?
So yes, I’ve some things that I didn’t liked about the characters, but it didn’t means that I didn’t liked this book and story. I enjoyed this book very much and will definitely read more of Fiona’s book.
WARNING: This novel contains explicit content.
Kevin and Ana’s story was just incredible. Theirs was a long hard journey but oh, so worth it.
4.5 Stars
When I found out that Fiona Cole was going to release a novella to Shame I was beyond ecstatic. I love Shame because of Kevin and Anabelle. These two people are such complex and interesting characters that I couldn’t wait to see what Fiona Cole would have in store for them with this novella.
Make It To The Altar is a delicious and very sexy dessert. I got more of Ana and Kevin. More of them as best friends, lovers and their dynamics in their sexual relationship . Kevin is the man in their relationship. In charge and full on dominant which Ana wants and needs. They both need. I enjoyed every scene between Kevin and Ana. They have so much chemistry and their love shines through every word they say to one another. Yes, Kevin can get rough when they play but it’s with Ana’s needs in mind. His love for Ana. All the time. Their relationship isn’t like anyone else but it’s their normal and I love how Fiona Cole captures it. Both in Shame but most definitely also in Make It To The Altar.
Make It To The Altar is the perfect closure to Anabelle and Kevin’s story. They’ve come so far since Shame. The growth and evolution they’ve gone through is incredible. Fiona Cole has created a unique love story that I’ll always treasure because of these characters.
We met Kevin and Ana in Shame and now we get to find out the ending to their relationship in this small novella. The writing is just as steamy as the first book. I did feel like there was not much of a story line besides them getting married and everything going wrong. And, of course, the sexual scenes. But I think that is why it was a novella.
It was bittersweet to read their ending and I’m glad it was created. It showed them as “older” adults and taking their relationship in the “real” world besides high school and college.
If you were a fan of Shame by Fiona Cole, you’ll need to pick this one up to finish their story.
Loved this continuation of Kevin and Ana’s love story. They really have some awful luck surrounding their wedding. But rest assured Kevin knows just how to handle Ana. Thank goodness for his sadist ways! Who SAYS that? Ana does for sure!
I was so excited to be back in Kevin and Ana’s world!!! After reading Shame (one of my top favorite books of 2017), I just couldn’t get enough of them and needed more!!! I’m big fan of novellas and Fiona Cole certainly did not disappoint me with this one. The sexual chemistry between these two characters is on FIRE and I deinfietly needed a cold shower afterwards. I just loved this story and truly enjoyed reading it.
The perfect novella for Ana and Kevin.
I knew right after I finished Shame I needed to read this novella too. It’s the perfect conclusion for Ana and Kevin’s story. It’s a lovely read and it’s just so freaking hot!!!
Just like in Shame Ana and Kevin are perfect in this novella. I loved getting to know more about them and their life together and I’m sad to finally say goodbye to this lovely couple… Definitely a successful series and a great novella.
It was so great to get more of Kevin and Ana!
This story made it seem like everything was against them getting married… but Kevin reminded us all that he is in charge and gets what he wants! The love that he has for his Ana is the kind of love most women dream of! He takes such great care of her and always seems to know what she needs! Ana just seems to have a way of grounding Kevin when he starts to get too restless. Kevin and Ana are one of the GREAT couples. They show us that just because their love is unconventional, does not mean that it will not last!
I think it might be fun to check back in with them 5 or more years in the future to see how they are handling life as a married couple and how they are with their children. I think I could probably get story updates about Kevin and Ana forever and be a happy girl.
All I can really say is that I love Kevin & Ana even more after reading Make it to the Altar. There is just something about this couple that is truly memorable, and I will never turn down a chance to read about them. I loved every minute of this novella and couldn’t get through it fast enough! Just a wonderful ending to their story!
