Everyone has Hunter Kaid all wrong. Even his own brother writes him off as unintelligent, but not all smarts are the same. He just needs one person to understand him and listen to what he’s really saying. All of his life, he’s been searching for that one person who really takes the time to see him, and just when he’s about given up, he stumbles upon Sadey. She’s hurt one of his pack-mates, and … his loyalty to his people wars with his interest in this human woman with the sad smile and the good heart. He might not be the brightest apple in the bunch, but he has a talent for seeing the good in people, and Sadey Lawklin is oozing with goodness that he can’t ignore. A hurt woman like her needs time and patience before he tries to change her life, but the closer she gets to him, the more his inner wolf wants to claim her. And now he can’t tell who is in more danger—himself, or her.
Sadey Lawklin is in the armpit of her life. She’s dug herself into a hole that will be nearly impossible to dig out of, and the very first thing she needs to do is apologize to the people she’s hurt before she can heal herself. She has a plan to turn her entire life around in a matter of weeks, but one thing she didn’t plan on is another man sniffing around her. This is the worst timing to get attached to someone, and especially someone as agile and deadly as a Kaid Brother. No one messes with the Kaids. Everyone in town knows who they are, but they haven’t figured out what they are. And when Sadey discovers Hunter’s deep, dark, and terrifying secret, she’s sucked down a rabbit hole that just might break her…unless the watchful wolf who has chosen her can Make Her New.

I truly enjoyed Sadey and Hunter’s story! This one was full of the feels! Sweet, sexy, a bit steamy, gosh I love me some cowboys! Book one kept me laughing through a great deal of it, this book made me feel everything Hunter and Sadey went through. She is broken after a failed marriage and a relationship with an ex boyfriend. Hunter is sick, losing his battle, but why? Why isn’t he healing like they are supposed to? Is Sadey the missing piece that can make him better? Wanna know, read the book!
Enjoyable second book in the series. Looking forward to the final book in the trilogy.
Hunter and Sadey are so cute together. It was sweet and refreshing to read this simple but very impactful story. Looking forward to Wes’s story.
I love all of this authors books. Read them all and grab the new ones as they are available. You cant go wrong reading her books.
Loved this book! It hooks you from the first page to the last.
*WARNING* story contains explicit sexual activity
Oh my gosh, I think this is my favorite one! This story has so much feeling, so much emotion, it was amazing. Most shifters are “perfect”, I mean they are emotionally damaged, but in this story, Hunter has autistic qualities (not labelled an autistic shifter though). I luved the unsureness of Hunter’s character just because it’s unusual for a shifter. The years flow freely in this story because it just has the “awe” factor!
I totally fell in love with Hunter… What an amazing story!
I LOVED this one! I can’t even say how many passages I have underlined! Between the thoughts, actions and conversations..it’s A LOT! I liked Hunter in the last book and the author improved upon him in this one. Heck. Even Sadey. I wasn’t a fan of hers last book but I actually come to like her in this one.
The bickering is back! These three boys have got it in spades. Now add in Maris’ snarky spark. It’s a pretty fun and easy read. Sadey is a more quiet girl but that goes away once she is comfortable. Hence her selfies with Maris. This is becoming a wonderful group.
This story is sweet, heartwarming and these characters are just looking for love and acceptance. I enjoyed the “nod” to the Boarlanders in here as well. I enjoyed the heck out of this story. I think I read it in two days. Hated to put it down. I see the preview for the next one and I can’t wait!
** spoiler alert ** Sadey is determined to stand on her own two feet. Hunter knows he is different, but still sees the good in people. Will she accept who he is? Will Hunter get the mate he always dreamed of?
Absolutely loved these two! I love getting to see more into Hunter and how he was. I loved how despite him being different, he was a complete sweetheart and knew just what she needed. I loved how despite what happened to her, Sadey wasn’t afraid to love again and how she accepted everything going on around her rather easily. Cannot wait for Wes’ book!
Make her new
Sadey is devastated due to what her ex has put her through but also because she feels so guilty about what was done to Maris….as she unknowingly participated in the break down of her marriage When they meet in a bar, for Sadey to apologise, she meets Hunter as well and is captivated by him
Hunter is different even for a shifter….he thinks differently and he feels he’s not good with words….but Sadey SEES him, just like he SEES her
Loved this new story with the Kaid brothers and I read the sneak peak for Wes’s book and it gave me chills
