A nice book. A quick read.
This was a fun read and helped me escape the boredom of the Covid quarantine. It’s always nice to have a happy ending.
She is trying to get back on her feet financially and he is trying to get his family off his back about settling down so a pact is made to attend a wedding as a couple. This makes a interesting situation for romance to bloom.
What an awesome book. Really enjoyed this.
A wonderful story. A quick relaxing afternoon read.
It’s a fun premise with likable characters. A feel great read.
A little unrealistic, but a lot of books are so that is not a turn off. A short easy read.
I enjoyed this book very much. It was fun and entertsining. I highly recommend it.
Loved this book please write more and sell on BookBub. I don’t buy from Amazon or apple, I’m not buying from the big corporate controlling companies.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were well developed. The story hooked me from the start and moved along at a nice pace. I appreciate a clean, sweet romance and no foul language. It was truly a pleasure to read!
I enjoyed this book. There are some hilarious things that happen and I loved watching the relationship develop. Though the ending felt slightly rushed it was still a great read I would recommend. I especially loved that it was a clean romance.
This was a cute fun read! I loved that it was a clean read where the couple realized their need for God and decided in this new relationship to make Him a priority. Thanks Vivi for the great read!!
Fun book, great characters
An enjoyable light read that gives love a second chance. Realistic characters with humor . Its a feel good read.
Everyone loves a good ending and love that takes you by surprise. Heath is a sweet, smart cowboy businessman who has it all and his crazy scheme surprises many, including Gwen and Heath. Gwen must have felt like Cinderella!
Story starts strong. But peeters out. The ending is happy yet something is missing in my opinion. I didn’t think the relationship was quite built between the two for it to end. It’s still a entertaining story.
Couldn’t finish it because the plot was ridiculous. Really? and annonymous matchmaker? And people won’t sign up with her because she doesn’t have a regular boyfriend? She thinks a make believe marriage and ultimate divorce makes sense? Terrible….
What does it take for a billionaire cowboy CEO to fall in love with a down on her luck waitress? For Heath and Gwen it takes a proposal for a fake engagement. I was pleasantly surprise how easy it was to read “Make-Believe Fiance.'” Author Vivi Holt has a niche for writing fast paced romance. And it has just a hint of sexual attraction, and not the usual scene after scene of descriptive love making. I’m sure readers will enjoy this one. Better listen to Nana next time, son.
Gwen leaves a bad marriage and starts a new life in Texas. She works as waitress and meets a cowboy. They pretend to be engaged when attending a wedding. Great story. Thank you.
Bothers me that characters just don’t tell the truth. There would be no story here though if the characters had integrity.
