She’s desperate. He’s devoted to his career. Neither knows they need each other.Mia Anderson would do anything for her sister, including marry a complete stranger so her niece could have the heart surgery she desperately needed. Her dream of being a veterinarian would have to wait.
And then she meets Dr. Parker Hawthorne. He’s perfect in ways Mia never knew she wanted, but now she’s promised to … now she’s promised to someone else.
Parker Hawthorne has never cared for romance or the family fortune as much he as he cares about saving lives. His practice is his passion. That is until his mother brings a complete stranger into their family home and it throws his entire life off track. He’s not sure what his mother is up to…or what this girl is now doing to him.
Can love be found when it wasn’t being searched for?

This is a fun sweet read that you don’t want to miss. The author brings the story to life with her words and once you start reading it you can’t put it down.
I was really excited since it was a contemporary mail order bride story and the result was as I had hoped!
Mia is such a sweet person! What she is doing for her niece is extra ordinary! She doesn’t even know the guy but sticks with it and along the way falls in love with Parker!
I’m not big on dogs but Amoeba is soooo cute! It makes me want a doggie! 🙂
The characters were amazing! I definitely couldn’t wait to see Trey’s story which is what I am starting on right now even though it isn’t the next book in the series. 🙂
Romance Content: kisses
Content: there is one explicit bad word in the whole book
You have heard of “Chick Flicks,” well the Hawthorne Billionaire Series by Farrah Lee should be considered right up there with the best chick flick I have ever seen. This week I read Mail Order Persuasion (Prequel) and Mail Order Mistletoe (Book 1). Now I am looking forward to grabbing Book 2.
Victoria Hawthorn is a very wealthy mother of four sons and a daughter. She has decided that this year her Christmas present to her son, Nathan, will be a mail order bride. Nathan is a thirty-five year old cardiologist with no time for socializing. Victoria is ready for grandchildren.
Mia is an Australian veterinary student, covered in debt and aunt to a little girl who desperately needs heart surgery. Can she get out of this financial hole by becoming a mail order bride?
This book is funny in places and heart warming all the way through. I loved it! This book was given to me by the author and I am willingly writing this review. Great work, Farrah!
Ms. Lee is a fairly new author for me. I read the prequel and really enjoyed it, so I continued on with this book and enjoyed this as well. I liked seeing Mia and Parker getting to know each other and grow closer. Mia was doing a selfless thing for her sister and niece and she ended up finding love in the process. Parker is a kind, caring, and dedicated doctor not really looking for love but more ready to settle down than he realizes. While the premise of this story of a mail-order bride may be a more old-fashioned concept, Ms. Lee did an excellent job of developing the plot and creating an interesting and entertaining storyline that really kept my interest. The characters were well-developed and relatable and so endearing. A different and unique story that was sweet and fun to read. I can’t wait to read the next one!
I was gifted a free copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.
New favorite author and series!!! I have to admit that I was getting tried of my regular authors and was not enjoying reading much. So, I would browse the emails I received from authors. I came across the Hawthorne Billionaire Series, and it caught my attention. So, I got the book and started reading. I must say that I did not want to put it down, and I made quick work of reading the book. I was hooked on reading again.
This was a great book and I just love Mia and Parker. I loved that it was clean romance and that it was something different than what I had been reading. I also appreciated that it was not a short book. It is only 168 pages but I felt like the story was completely told and I was not disappointed that part of the story was missing. I also love the mom, Victoria. She is such a fun character. I would highly recommend this book and the Hawthorne Billionaire Series. I can’t wait to start reading the next book!
What a sweet and clean read. Its all about Mia being a mail order bride from Australia. She is brought to the US for one reason. To get the heart surgery for her niece and the money to pay off her vet school debt. The only thing she knows about her future husband is he is a doctor. Plus that Victoria Hawthorne will be her mother-n-law. Mia meets Parker first thing after getting to Victoria’s house. Parker is a over achiever doctor and medical devices inventor. Its all work and no play for him. Victoria’s other son Trey is also a doctor. But things change for Mia and Parker the more they get to know one another. But the question still remains which son is Mia there for? Parker or Trey his sexy charming older brother ? I loved this story enjoy it for yourself
What family will do for each other and love the Hawthorne family
Mia Anderson has done something insane, but for one of the best reasons possible. Her niece is in desperate need of heart surgery, so Mia agrees to become a mail order bride. Yes, you read that right, Mia sold herself to become a mail order bride to a rich doctor in New York City. When she arrives in NYC, she discovers that she should’ve checked the weather before she left Australia. She shows up during the winter wearing shorts. To make matters worse, while attempting to retrieve her ringing phone from her bag, her hair gets caught in the sequins of her knee high Ugg books. A handsome stranger assists in not only grabbing her drink for her, but also untangling her hair.
Later, after a meeting with Victoria Hawthorne, the woman Mia signed the contract with, she discovers that it’s Victoria’s son she will be marrying, and he has no clue. With a cover story in place, Victoria and Mia head to Victoria’s mansion where Mia soon runs into the handsome stranger who helped her. It turns out that the handsome stranger is Victoria’s son Parker. But that’s not all, Victoria has a total of four sons and doesn’t tell Mia which one she is to marry. This leads to some unnecessary confusion for Mia.
I was intrigued by the blurb. I had mixed feelings about the whole selling herself as a mail order bride, plus the fact that Parker has no knowledge of what his mother had done. But I wanted to see how it played out.
I did have issues with both the timeline errors and the grammatical issues (such as wrong words being used), something a good editor or proofreader could sort out in no time and something I recommend the author to check into because the errors do detract from the story. I do like the chemistry between Parker and Mia, the story line is different, and the secondary characters helps to pull the story together, making it a fun and interesting read. I will also be reading the next book in the series to see what Victoria Hawthorne does next. She does have three other sons after all.

Mia and Parker. A very cute story bringing two people together when you least expect it. The tug of war with these two causes lots of angst. It was well written. Loved it!!
This book had huge potential, but I’m not sure it delivered. The whole book hinges on Mia not knowing who her husband will be, but all that could have been resolved with one conversation with Victoria, which never happened. She spent the whole time not knowing, and that was a little frustrating. There were also a few timeline glitches.
The writing was good and the characters were all really likeable, I mean, who wouldn’t like the Hawthorne family!? It was lovely to see Mia and Parker getting to know each other and the ending was just what they needed.
This is the second story that I have read from this author and I am loving this just as much as the prequel. She is a fairly new author to me and I love reading new authors. Loved Parker and Mia so much. The way they meet is so fun to watch. Great story and I can’t wait to read more. If you are looking for a fun way to pass the afternoon, then this is the book for you.
I read an early review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Victoria wanting nothing but the best for her son Parker, she buys him a bride for Christmas. Mia wanting to take care of her sisters child, who needs surgery, agrees to the terms of being bought as a bride. Parker and Mia spend so much time together and start having feelings for each other. Mia, not knowing who her soon to be husband is, tries to hide those feelings. This is a fun rom-com that will have you laughing and smiling throughout the book.
Fun story, Mia and Parker are great characters , sparks fly from the time they meet , though they are both unaware of the real reason Mia is visiting the Hawthorne family. Fun fast paced story , loveable characters. This is going to be a fun series
Unselfishly mia puts her life up as mail order bride to save her niece. In process shes distracted by this wonderful family n shamelessly falls in love.
Mia became a mail order bride for the money to pay for her niece’s heart surgery. She’s a bit of klutz and gets into situations in this story starting with getting her hair caught in her boots when she meets Parker for the first time. They have an instant connection, but she thinks she’s meant for one of his brothers especially after it is revealed he has a friend with benefits. This story was told mostly from her point of view and her thoughts are all over the place and they seem to not take into account the time differences with Australia and New York. The best character was the adorable puppy Parker rescues that they spend time trying to figure out the appropriate name for.
I loved this book. I started reading it and couldn’t stop. Farrah Lee is a new writer she is very talented. The book is romantic , humorous has a great plot and wonderful characters. I can’t wait to read more of her books
Mail Order Mistletoe by Farrah Lee
I truly fell in love with this sweet, funny story of two people and a puppy spending time together all while falling in love without realizing that what’s happening.
Mia is determined to help her sister and six year old niece who needs surgery. So she signs up to be a mail order bride but she needs to leave Australia for New York City. She arrives not dressed for the weather and ends up in a hilarious situation with her hair,Uggs a handsome stranger. She is thrown for a twist when she finds out the groom doesn’t know anything about her and his mother Victoria was the one who bought her plus she isn’t told which son will be her husband only he’s a doctor.
Parker is a doctor who doesn’t have time for anything but his patients. He is caring, generous and handsome but definitely a workaholic. He has three brothers and a sister and he is the oldest.
Trey also a doctor handsome and a ladies man always seems to get the girl but never settles down. So there is a little tension between those two brothers when it comes to women. I loved all the characters in this story Murphy their sister is awesome, Hank the driver, Diana their housekeeper and of course Amoeba the adorable little puppy.
Don’t miss out on this gem of book or the Prequel to this series which was fantastic too.
