She takes Elle to meet her new husband and children and slowly but surely they become a family and Miranda could not be more pleases until she finds our she is pregnant with Cade’s child and neither can he.
This was a quick, enjoyable read. A sweet mail order bride story. Miranda applies to be a mail order bride so she won’t be a burden to her family. This is a sweet story that holds your attention from the first page until the last. It’s well written and will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. Miranda and Cade’s story was a heartwarming read that I hated to see end. I received a complimentary copy of this book and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
She really feels she needs to leave; her sister and husband are having a hard time with finances . . . and she is just an extra mouth. So she becomes a mail order bride – but the day before she leaves they die – leaving her the sole family of their baby. So when she shows up to meet her husband she has the baby with her!!! So now there are his two children and her niece!!! Can this EVER turn out for good? Will God work in their hearts? FANTASTIC BOOK!
This is a really sweet story ,although it begins in sadness.Miranda is an orphan who has agreed to become a mail order bride. But, just before she is to leave for Texas, a terrible accident leaves her in charge of her baby niece. Cade Tanner’s wife has died leaving him with two year old twin boys to raise. Jenna does a great job in welding all these lost souls into a happy family
Cade a recently widowed rancher sends for a mail order bride to help care for his twin toddlers. He doesn’t expect Miranda to come with her recently orphaned baby niece. Though he feels guilty for his growing feelings toward his new wife he has trouble admitting it. He feels guilty about about his past love for his deceased wife. But Miranda is more than he could have asked for. Miranda wants to be loved and she knows that patience is the key, but it is oh so hard. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
Loved this short sweet mail order romance with Miranda and Cade. She is set to leave for Texas to become his mail order bride and mother to his twin sons when her sister and brother-in-law are killed leaving their infant daughter so she takes her with her hoping that Cade understands. This is a wonderful story about how women and men handled finding a marriage partner when men outnumbered women in the west. Miranda and Cade took that gamble and in the end they won.
Mail Order brides were always at the mercy of the grooms who “ordered” them! I would think it would be incredibly difficult just wondering what the man would be like and how you would be treated. For Miranda, not only was she going across the country to a new area and a new man with children to live but she was bringing along her niece because the day before she leaves, her sister & brother-in-law are tragically killed! She has no idea whether her new groom will accept this baby but she doesn’t have a choice. Thankfully, Cade is kind to her and accepts the baby but Cade’s twins are quite the handful in the beginning so Miranda has her work cut out for her when she arrives! Then, Cade is still in love with her dead wife so Miranda has that to contend with also! This was a sweet story about how two people worked together to build a family, life and home.
This was a cute, short mail order bride story. I liked that it was easy to follow for the length it was. I liked how kind Cade was to Miranda. Even though he still loved and missed his first wife he still treated her with kindness even when she didn’t know what she was doing. I liked how Miranda helped him to see that he wasn’t replacing his first wife or being unfaithful to her by loving Miranda too. I thought this was really sweet and thought it was well done.
I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors. A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.
Short and Sweet!
A short, sweet and enjoyable Mail Order Bride story. Just the thing for filling in time and having something enjoyable to read.
Miranda and Cade have three children to look after – her baby niece and his 2-year old twin sons – so life is pretty hectic for Miranda, besides the fact that she knows nothing about farming, but Cade is willing to teach her and she learns.
Being a romance, they fall in love and this is what the story is about.
I enjoyed it and am happy to recommend it.
I read an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) of the ebook and this is my voluntary and unbiased review of it.
