Playing both sides is never easy, especially when one of them is the hottest clique at the academy.Magic and Metaphysics Academy wasn’t what Lou expected. She never expected to become one of the most popular girls there, and now she’s getting more attention than ever. Just not from the people she wants. Can she manage to keep her friends and her sanity? Or is she going to lose it all?
I loved everything about this book and just couldn’t put it down, fantastically written with stunning and captivating characters, Multi layers of sub plots that are easily followed and wonderful action with romance. A must read for so many reasons. I am sure you will love these books as much as I did.
Lou’s second story is out and things are heating up both with her friendships with the Sparkles and her men. It was steamy but a bit fun to read as Lou gets closer to her guys. And her relationship with other students was just as funny as book 1. Basically I giggled and rolled my eyes through most of it. The ends was a bit of a shocker but so what I was looking forward too and I just knew something was coming. Just a fun read.
The story continues where it left off in the first book. There’s definitely more steam in this book and more Mean Girls similarities. That said, I still really enjoyed the book and can’t wait to read the 3rd one!
This story is the second book in the series and is a quick but extremely good read. We have a mystery to solve with drama around. It is extremely well written with beautifully developed characters. We see Lou growing throughout the story and standing up for herself. I am extremely excited to find out what happens as this does end in a cliffhanger as well. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

This is a good improvement on the first book. The FMC is starting to be stronger by the end of the book but is still pretty pathetic.
The male MCs don’t really have much to do with the books, almost like they are an afterthought to deal with.
A lot of editing needed.

Magical Mistake 5 Stars
(Magic And Metaphysics Academy Book 2)

******** May Contain Some Spoilers ********
I will try my absolute best to keep spoilers to a minimum or completely out of my review. Sometimes it can be hard to do so.
L.A. and Laura did not disappoint with book 2 of this series. I found this to be just as intriguing as book 1, if not a little more. The event that happens near the end throw me for a loop. I so didn’t see that twist coming!
Francis, Jayse, and Brooks all have very strong feelings for Lou and she them. Things get hot and heavy with Lou and 2 of the guys. After reading book 1, I couldn’t wait to see what Lou would do to Kristi.Lou is working on a plan to retaliate for what Kristi has done. Lou’s roommate, Estelle wants Lou to get Kristi expelled from school. Things finally come to a head between Lou and Kristi. Magic is used, ugly words thrown at Lou, then it happens. Pretty big event. The book ends with us finding out that Kristi wasn’t the worse person at the academy, it’s someone else. Can’t wait for book 3.
