Playing both sides is never easy, especially when one of them is the hottest clique at the academy.Magic and Metaphysics Academy wasn’t what Lou expected. She never expected to become one of the most popular girls there, and now she’s getting more attention than ever. Just not from the people she wants. Can she manage to keep her friends and her sanity? Or is she going to lose it all?
Magical Mistake by Laura Greenwood is such an awesome story that I have read. This is book number two in this awesome series that I have loved reading from the begining. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy and paranormal romances.

Picking up where book 1 left off, this book dives right into steamy! I was hoping for more on the revenge plot line which almost felt like an afterthought. Lots of focus on the bond growing between Lou and her men. This was a fast paced read and continued to expand the magic system and did add a bit to the suspense and mystery started in the first book. This book ends with a huge upset to set the stage for book 3.
This is book 2 of 3 in the Magic and Metaphysics series which should be read in order as the story builds from one book to the next.
Magical Mistake by Laura Greenwood and L. A. Boruff is the second book in the Magic and Metaphysics Academy series. This book is about Lou, a witch/vampire hybrid who is trying to survive attending her paranormal school without becoming a social pariah. This book is a unique and interesting portrayal of a young paranormal girls life and relationships with those around her including her roommates, the popular girls, and the three young men she becomes romantically involved with. I really loved the character of Lou and this story has lots of interesting twists and turns that made it an awesome read. Anyone who enjoys a good young love story will love this sweet paranormal reverse harem romance too. Magical Mistake is an entertaining paranormal reverse harem romance.
This was a good book. It’s book 2 in the series. I found it well written with well developed characters. I would recommend reading.

This is the second well-written reverse harem story in the Magic And Metaphysics Academy series. The story begins with a recap of first book story and continues with this amazing story. I really enjoyed the characters in this series as they mature and have more depth. This can be read alone but I recommend reading the first book before this one. Good Read

Action packed, emotionally thrilling, sexy and fun adventure filled with magically interesting charters, memorable dialog, heart racing twists and exciting turns….great reading! Awesome adventure and looking forward to what comes next.
Our heroine just wants to learn and practice her magic, but life is never that simple. High school politics seem more dangerous that the studies themselves.
This is book two of the series. There is a pretty good summary of the last book at the start of this one, so you can start here, but it might be better to start at the beginning anyway. Your choice.
This is a young adult reverse harem paranormal fantasy story. If you have read any of the author’s previous works, then this one is very similar in tone and style. The story is well written and easy to read. The world has a lot of depth to it and there is a diverse cast of well developed characters. There is a plot, but it seems to mostly focus around campus politics between the student cliques. Frankly, I find it to be a little too much of a high school drama with magic. I was hoping for something a little more. Still, it is an enjoyable story and I plan to stick around to see how it wraps up.
Recommended.

Magical Mistake is book two in the Magic & metaphysics Academy series and it picks up where book one left off. In this book Lou’s story continues as she connects with the guys but can’t decide on just one because she wants them all. Lou, the sparkles and the guys go on a twisted journey filled with drama, frenemies, mystery, magic, a bit of steam, humor and a cliffhanger that left me wanting to read the next book in this series to find out what happens next.
I had lots of fun reading this story. The characters are well developed and engaging and plenty of chemistry from beginning to the end. Storyline flowed smoothly.

They say keep your friends close and your enemies closer but what happens when even your friends are your enemies. Lou wants to get even with Kristi the leader of the Sparkles but she is conflicted about even though she has done some terrible things. Lou also grows closer to her boyfriend’s but one mistake writing something in a book will cost someone and another enemy will reveal themself. This book dose have a cliffhanger just like book 1.

ONE EXTREMELY EXCITING TREAT!!!
Dazzling! This dynamic duo stirs one chaotic mix that’s as thrilling as it riveting with all the shenanigans and mayhem blasting this baby to life flawlessly. A spinning vortex chocked-full of daunting circumstances and a bevy of astonishing events that keep you flipping page after page. A bounty of perplexing situations that thrusts our characters head long into a tailspin they never saw coming with surprising impacts. Pushing on-ward, hurdling the trials and tribulations, along with a slew of plot twists and sharp turns fuses this baby together sleek, shiny and tight. Add distress and turmoil, you have the recipe for one prize winning bombshell. The chemistry builds as each layer is peeled back exposing a growing bond and amplifying affections that catapult this jewel to life beautifully. The characters and their on point personalities are authentic and realistic with depth and qualities that blend and flow. The scenes are so vividly detailed it gives the illusion you were right there with them instead of on the sidelines. Remarkable job guys, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Wow! Powerful story. Everything Lou believed is turned upside down. Lou has been pretending to enjoy being part of the Sparkles so she and her roommates can get revenge on Kristi. She likes the other two girls but not Kristi. When Kristi forces her to write a rumor in a powerful book, the rumor comes true and something dreadful happens. But then she finds out one of her friends has been controlling everything from the beginning. Now she has to stop this person before more people die. And then there are her three potential boyfriends. How will this work? She has intense feelings for all three. Can’t wait for the next book. As the story continues from Book 1, the groups are identified, with Lou involved with each. Her roommates are Estelle and Tyler; her 3 guys are Francis (vampire), Jayse (anaconda shifter), and Brooks (plant witch); and the popular girls clique, the Sparkles – Kristi whom no one likes, Sadie, and Madison.
Kristi has now gotten Lou angry. Someone messed with her glamor so that she was embarrassed by her appearance at a party. Then she saw Kristi kiss Francis! But not everything is as it seems. Taking advantage of Lou’s anger, her roommate Estelle is urging her to take revenge on Kristi – something to actually get her expelled from school. There is a magic book that will cause some trouble. Kristi is pushing Lou to do things that Lou is not comfortable with. And Lou makes some romantic progress with her guys who are okay with sharing her affections. Things are definitely heating up from multiple directions. Is Lou in danger? Will she be ready to deal with what comes her way?
I am really enjoying this fast-paced series and getting to know the characters who are becoming important in Lou’s new environment. Grab your copy and see how the interactions with the various groups shift and change. There will be surprises in this one that you won’t want to miss.
Lou is settling into the Academy and has found not one but three fantastic guys, but feels like she is losing control of her life. With her roommate urging her to stay in with the Sparkles so she can get revenge on Kristi and Kristi trying to control not only the Sparkles but the whole Academy, what is Lou to do?

You have to read the first book in order for this one to make more sense, even though it does give a recap of sorts. Lou now has more problems to contend with along with the three guys. The story has something for everyone but it’s mostly geared toward the Yound Adult genre. It’s fun, quirky, and sexy.

Lou is still stuck in Kristi’s group, having promised her roommate she would take her down. She is spending more time with the boys and practicing magic, but she also has to find out what Kristi is up to with her evil magic book. Lou still loves being at the academy but she never imagined it being so dangerous. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
I normally love anything written by Laura Greenwood but I have to say that this series did not meet my expectations for her books. After I read book one, Magical Mischief, I thought I would go ahead and download book two anticipating that the storyline would improve. Sadly, it did not. All of these college-age characters are still acting like mean immature teenagers. I will still read books by Ms. Greenwood in the future but I will not be reading any more of the books in this series.

Taking part in a scheme to hurt Kristi is taking a toll on Lou. Not to mention that she has to hide the fact that she is a hybrid. Her life, since starting in the Academy is confusing. Lou’s attraction to 3 guys makes her wonder if her feelings are wrong.
The twists in this story are fascinating. The book is well written and doesn’t disappoint the reader.
