Tyson Compass, as one of the famed Compass quads, is not a wizard used to living with regrets. Except for one: Grace Carter.Grace is a healer witch he rejected many years ago. After completely disappearing from his life, she has returned, and turned his world upside down. The attraction between them flares strongly, but she has not forgotten or forgiven his callous rebuff when they were teens.… were teens.
Tyson does everything he can to prove he will never hurt her again, and just when he thinks there might be a chance for them, she has to leave again. She makes him promise not to follow her – a promise he honors for as long as he can. But after almost two months with no word, he’s done waiting. He’s going to find his girl.
With a little help from his brothers, he tracks her down, only to find Grace betrayed by her family … tortured … hurt. His rage knows no bounds. He will do everything he can to bring her family to justice, to find out why they turned on her.
By unlocking these secrets, though, he will discover that Grace is so much more than just a healer witch. She holds a secret that could save the world of Faerie. Or destroy it.

This book is the fifth book in the Supernatural Prison series and is full to the brim with fae, dragons and a host of new characters.
Like book four, it can be read as a standalone but I think it’s better to have read the previous books to get a more in depth feel for this series.
No spoilers but if what you’re after is true mate bonds, love, sex and adventures, this book has that in abundance.
Magical Compass by Jaymin Eve a thrilling five-star read. This is a stand-alone read, but it is the second Supernatural prisons story, the story’s fall after the Supernatural Prison Trilogy, and you don’t have to have read the previous four books, but they do give a great history and depth to the world. (They are also amazing reads, so I would recommend reading them first, but if you just want to dip a toe into the world go ahead and dip away. You won’t be disappointed).
Jaymin Eve writes a great word, the Compass Quads are all great in their individually and I’ll be honest Tyson wasn’t a favourite before this story, but the romance between him and Grace is sublime, the way he accepts his mistakes were so well done and how he wins her over and shows her how much she means to him despite everything he is going through was so well written.
This may be labeled Supernatural Prison Story #2, but it’s actually book 5 in the series. This one revolves around Tyson and Grace, the lovely Healer that slipped away at the end of Book 3 – the end of Jesse and Braxton’s love story.
Here, the over all arc of the Metaplot takes another HUGE step forward, this time in Faerie, as Grace’s own history is revealed and her obvious connection to this growing clan exposed. It’s intense, a bit painful and fully magical.
Magical Compass is book two in Jaymin Eve’s Supernatural Prison Story series, this series is a spin off to Supernatural Prison which followed Dragon Shifter Quad Braxton Compass and Wolf Shifter Jessa Lebron. This series so far is following a different member of the pack, book one was Vampire Quad Maximus Compass and Twin Mischa Lebron, this book follows Magic User Quad Tyson Compass and Witch Grace Carter.
To be honest I’m a little unsure of what to make of this book. The storyline and characters are fantastic and see all the previous characters making appearances is fantastic. But now I’m not liking how there is more Dragon Shifters in Quads. What made the quads so fantastic and unique was their unique abilities, I know with them joining that it mentions that their souls are all four of the supe races but I was hoping it would be like the Dragon Marked, they would have the strength and abilities of the dragon but not be able to shift. I just feel that Braxton is being ripped of his Uniqueness to be the Dragon shifter. Besides this one big issue I’m having by wrapping my head around I really enjoyed reading Tyson and Grace’s story. I did enjoy reading this book as it put more pieces on the board and explained a lot more of what’s been happening and going on with the demons and Louis. The twists, turns and troubles that these characters have to endure is going to be the hardest journey so far.
Tyson Compass is no longer going to wait for his girl to come back. He promised not to following but that times is up. It’s time to get his girl, up finding her is becoming troublesome, he can’t find her through his magic or the healer community. Having his brother Braxton and Maximus busy with their newborns and mates, Ty asks Jacob to help him find Grace. Ending up in Faery and the secrets unfolded was not what he had expected.
Grace Carter is a witch healer, after the battle of the Dragon King she received a call to come home as there was some family trouble. But she never expected to be ambushed, held captive and tortured. After months of being held in a basement it was time to come out and meet the leader behind her captivity, but she never would have expected this.
Tyson is hot!! Grace is so sweet and innocent but her story is fierce. I love how all of the stories continue to unfold and we get more details from each perspective. All
Of the characters face changes in this story and it unravels itself in a big way.
