Cute idea, a little implausible, and somewhat scattered at times.
Magic in the Stars as an interesting dichotomy. The premise of the book was promising, but the execution was mixed. I found the writing awkward, which was a pity. I really wanted to like this book.
Lots of danger, romance & whimsy with a sprinkling of astronomy tempered with astrology.
Quick read
Little too wordy and ending was drawn out
This was a fun read. First time reading her work and loved every word.
I enjoyed this book, however, I found it a little tedious. I was often amused by the quirkiness of the characters and the author developed the main characters and the supporting ‘family’ of characters quite well in order to continue with the series. However, I found myself anxious to get on with the plot and there were two plots going at the same time.
It went a bit overboard on the astrology I thought and started to detract from the story. But overall I enjoyed it. It definitely had a different premise from most stories.
