Zoe is a witch. She doesn’t know it. She grew up on her grandmother’s farm. Zoe’s ambition is to be an investigative reporter. After getting back to her grandmother, after losing her reporting job she fills out resume after resume seeking new employment. Somehow she lands a job that takes her to a magical town where she learns lots about herself, her abilities, and becomes the town’s super sleuth.
This is a cutesy sort of story, 3 in the box. Safe for any youngster who likes magical types of characters. Of those there are plenty. For example, the police are werewolves. Vampires are very influential, but not allowed on the city board. Zoe’s room mate is a fairy and her boyfriend turns out to be a shape shifter. Her cat can talk and loves watching soap operas, such as “as the moon turns” as well as other shows.
Yes, I recommend this for young readers. No sex, violence is less than some cartoon shows and the hero is a young lady any young girl should want to be like.
Zoe is a reporter who finds out first that magic and its many varied wonders exists and second that she herself is a witch. A rather powerful witch too. While she comes to Moon Grove to be a newspaper reporter she winds up in all sorts of jams and valiantly tries to extricate herself from them and save the town at the same time.
This collection is the first three books in the series. They are witty, entertaining, and excellent mysteries as well. A great value and three great reads.
light hrarted rom-com detective stories
related to each other. don’t think they’d stand alone, but are three stories withun an omnibus
i found it to be entertaining and a light read

This is a great book for teens. Easy to read, great group of characters. There are more books in the series, but this will get someone started.
Love this book .Really appreciate the humorous characters and the story line was fun. I read every one in this series. Thanks for the relaxing afternoon and evening unwinding with Zoe.
Great series, light and funny with great friendships and relationships, but plenty of tense action also
combo fantasy mystery stories very enjoyable reading
Enjoyed reading this book. Well written.
It was an extremely well written and unique series. Great character development without loads of unnecessary fluff. The author left lots of loose ends around the main character to allow for future development.
Cool read something different
These books are fun, quick reads. Zoe is a reporter who finds a job in a magical town. All sorts of supernatural, quirky characters are involved. If you need a rest from the stress of 2020, give these books a try.
Gotta finish the series, very entertaining
When our heroine moved to a new town to get a fresh start, she never expected to learn she was psychic and the town was full of supernatural beings. Talk about a change of pace.
This is a collection of the first three books in this cozy paranormal mystery series. A perfect place to start.
This was a great way to get introduced to the series with three books in one handy bundle. I found each story to be well written and easy to follow, but with plots that contain lots of twists and turns which keep you guessing as to who that bad guy (or gal) is, which is how it should be. At the same time, the author is crafting a very detailed setting which serves as the background for these stories. Last but not least is a diverse cast of crazy characters that really bring the entire thing to a boil. I may have gotten a bit carried away there, but I really enjoyed this series and look forward to reading more.
Highly recommended.
