Maggie Walker has never called Wirra Station home. Orphaned as a child, she spent more time at boarding school, and then working in the city, than she ever spent on the edge of the outback. But when her great aunt dies, Maggie inherits everything and reluctantly returns to tidy the place up before selling. Ambitious cowboy-next-door Max O’Connor has the means and the desire to buy Wirra Station … Wirra Station outright and return it to its former glory. But first, he wants elusive Maggie Walker to know what she’s giving up. He challenges her to live at Wirra Station for three months—with him as farm manager. Just one season–and if she still doesn’t love the place, he’ll gladly pay up and she can be cashed-up and careless, with no ties to anything or anyone.
Three months. Two hearts. One Summer. Roll on.

Young woman 8nherited a historical estate to run B and B. Old flame wanted to raise sheep. Reunited romance solved all problems
This is a fun ready, with some quirky changes of direction in the plot. I really enjoyed it.
a delightfully entertaining romance.
Great read. Loved that it was about a culture I am not familiar with. Male lead was an honorable, good person.
Like the author’s style of writing
Marvelous!
There is some depth to the characters and some twists that were not expected.
Well written and very engaging! Loved the characters and the story!
I loved so much about this book: the complex and damaged heroine and hero with such an interesting and heartbreaking back story between them, the setting, the vivid descriptions and entertaining dialogue…for starters. Kelly Hunter writes grown-up love stories for readers who don’t expect everything to work out perfectly, so long as it works out happily.
Love the way this author uses words!
I enjoyed how each character was described. You could see them in your mind’s eye. I was so impressed with how the land and scenery was made so real by being described so beautifully. This was definitely a page turner.
Very enjoyable
The book draws one in, characters are well developed, and a good story line is developed.
Would highly recommend this book and author. Really sexy and fun read.
Interesting to read about lives and living in another country.
Well written and engaging.
Such a good story with no nitty gritty sex scenes to bypass. Also loved the ending….perfect.
Interesting and enjoyable.
I enjoyed reading a romance book without having to skip over the play-by-play of every sex scene (which usually adds up to 1/3 to 1/2 of the book…or ao it seems.) It actually had a good plot!
Good plot
