Mafia Lullaby: A Dark Captive Romance by Alta Hensley and Measha Stone is a dark, twisted, steamy and intense novella read that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat.
This story isn’t your run of the mill Daddy/littles read for its quite twisted and dark.
Costello and Ariana’s story isn’t your light and airy love story; it’s full of raw, gritty, dark depraved romance and sexual heat. The combo team of Alta Hensley and Measha Stone makes for a delicious, taboo treat. The story has taboo things and sensitive topics. Costello and Ariana have this twisted yet beautiful connection. I loved their chemistry ; the fight to be together is strong. The DG/lg story is amazing.
My Rating: 4.5 stars *******
I enjoyed this Mafia romance. It is a dark read that had a lot of twists and turns, which kept me wanting to read to see what was going to happen.
Wow what a page turner intense, dark and crazy I couldn’t believe it I have never read anything like this before and I loved it.
Little girls and their daddies unbelievable but their it was, Costello and Ariana are so well written and she was such a strong character as her mind could not wrap around what was happening and you won’t either.
A true page turner fabulous writing that will blow your mind.
I enjoyed this story. It was definitely dark. I’m sure things like this happen in our world but we don’t get to hear about them that much. There was definitely steam in this story mixed with a lot of darkness. It excited me. This story was the first story that I’ve read that had this theme. If the author does more stories to tell the stories about the other girls in the same situation as Ariana I would definitely check them out.

Two great authors writing together resulting in an amazing book. It’s not going to be for everyone and has some possible triggers in there for some readers. I really loved reading this book and I’m hoping these authors continue to release books together and especially in this genre.

You expect an Alta Hensley story to be dark but add Measha Stone and you are in for a trip down the rabbit whole of Darkness. The story will pull you into the dark world of the mafia, with kidnappings, littles/daddies. Costello and Arianna have this intense chemistry from the start and her strong willed character makes her the perfect match for this tough guy. From the moment she was taken to the realization of what is happening around her, makes this story so captivating and enthralling.

She’s A Lullaby girl. Her fate is sealed. In a twisted, underground House of Depravity, the women do no belong to me. But they are mine to train. To groom. To perfect in the most wicked of ways. I don’t think I have ever read a book where the grown women where made to act like little six year old girls. So that was different and kind of freaked me out just a little bit. But it is a dark book and you just never know what your going to get in a dark book. So I adjusted and read the dark and twisted story of Ariana and Costello. Ariana’s having a strange day and just wants to get home so she can figure out why all the money in her bank account is suddenly gone. When she gets to the bus stop with one token and no money for it tomorrow she gets a text from her boss telling her he is sorry to see her go and enjoyed working with her. Ummmm…what? She didn’t quit her job and try as she may to get her phone to send a message or an email it just won’t work. So when two strange men dressed in suits and hats come into the bus stop to wait she knows that something is wrong. However she is not fast enough and they take her from her life. This girl fights with everything she has in her until she is dosed with Lullaby and wakes up in the strangest place she has ever been before. All the women act like little girls, they all have daddies and nannies and are made to color and play all day. All thanks to the drug Lullaby that isn’t working on her like it is everyone else. And to make matters worse they are all auctioned off to Daddies and who know where she will end up or what her life will be. So she fakes it to escape. However Costello just might be on to her and knows that the medicine isn’t really working on her at all like it should. Can Ariaina get out of this without anyone finding out that the drug isn’t working? Can she and Costello not fall in love with each other? You have to read this book to find out what happens. If you love dark books that keep you on the edge of your seat this you do not want to miss Mafia Lullaby co-written by Alta Hensley and Measha Stone.
Deliciously dark and devious! Deliciously dark and devious. Several of my favorite authors have been pairing up for books, and this time they hit the jackpot. With a twisted plot and men who operate on the wrong side of the law, readers are in for a treat. I didn’t know whether to live or hate Costello, and I wanted to leap into the pages to do what I could to save the Lullaby girls. Such was the depth of emotion these authors managed to pull from me as I became engulfed in this book. Feast on the deliciousness that is this book!
The writing and editing of this novel was clean, with few typos that I caught in the ARC version of this manuscript. The world building of the House and Lullaby drug and was vibrant. The characterization was competent, with both hero and heroine being complex individuals. The development of the romantic relationship was good, as far as dark romance goes. I just had a hard time picturing a man who actively trains and rapes sex slaves without any moral qualms being capable of real connection and love with a woman. This novel was the first by these authors that I have read, and the premise and storyline was not one that personally appealed to me, with the sex slavery and age play elements, but it was well written and I can see how other people would thoroughly enjoy this story. The plot and pacing was exciting and interesting. There was a medium amount of angst on the heroine’s part, which is understandable and consistent with the trauma she was going through. The stakes were very high in this story, and the authors were really good at making me doubt the possibility of an HEA. This story used the Enemies to Lovers trope, and also the Daddy trope. The world building, plot, and pacing were four stars. The characterization was also four stars. The development of the romantic relationship was three stars, because I did not really buy into these two character’s relationship. The combined score for this novel was four stars. I rounded up. This novel had a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus for this story. I recommend this story to fans of dark BDSM romance with age play elements. I personally do not plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this novel.

This book is not so much a book about an erotic dark romance but more a story about the trafficking of sex workers and the grubby underground world of kidnapping, training, hiding and selling girls to the highest bidder all whilst keeping them drugged.
This book gives an amazing insight into the dark world where girls are moulded and regressed to become ‘little girls’ for their daddies with the help of drugs, training and violence.
Its not about the sex, its about the control and submission; falling in love with the wrong person and falling out of love with being in the House; making plans and siding with the right people at the right time to be able to get away.
Its disturbing and compelling and a complete page turner!
I totally recommend this book but you should read it and make up your own mind

This is dark and sinister and some of the themes here may be disturbing for some. I felt the lust that Ariana and Costello felt for each other but I couldn’t necessarily piece them together. There is a lot going on here and even towards the end, I didn’t feel as connected to them as I felt I should.

I’m wreaked from reading this gem. It’s dark, raw gritty emotions and will take you for a dark ride. Must read for all lovers of dark romance!!!
Ariana is kidnapped by the mafia and taken to a house to be drugged with Lullaby to be reverted back to a six year old. Costello works for the mafia and does different jobs. Right now he is working in the house training the littles, getting them ready for their forever daddy. When he meets Ariana, he feels something different for the first time. Will he risk it all to save her? Read now to find out!!!
This book was different than any other dd/lg I’ve read before.
I recommend this book to anyone who wants a dark read.

**3 1/2 stars**
I’m a hug fan of both Ms. Hensley and Ms. Stone.
I love their books and the plots in them.
The premise of Mafia Lullaby intrigued me.
I’ve read lots of books with an abduction theme.
But this story was somewhat unique for me.
The evil men who want the Lullaby Girls are really depraved.
All persons who what to obtained a stolen person of course is evil.
But what’s different here is that these men’s wants are more disgusting.
Ariana is taken off the streets and her life as she knows it vanishes.
She is going to be trained to become a Lullaby Girl.
Ariana fights and strategies to escape her captivity.
I liked that she was strong and so determined.
Costello is a member of the mafia family that steals, trains and sales the girls.
He is their best trainer and paid well for his services.
It is now his duty to start training Ariana and get her ready for the next auction.
I didn’t really feel an emotional connection between Ariana and Costello.
Their is lust present but not the bond of something on a higher level.
Their bodies physically reacted to one another.
But that’s all I felt between them.
I admired Ariana throughout the book.
Except towards the end where I lost some of my admiration for her.
Costello never really redeemed himself in my eyes.
It felt like, for me,he never really felt bad for his role in ruining lives.
I love the antiheroes in dark stories.
But Costello just didn’t do it for me.
Mafia Lullaby does have an interesting plot and it’s very new concept.
So that kept and held me attention throughout.
With these two ladies, you know you are going to get one dark and twisted read. It’s a deliciously, dirty daddy read that sits also in the elicit Mafia Romance spectrum also. So really this is the best from both ladies wheelhouses. Knowing these authors, as your reading you really don’t know if the poor girl that was kidnapped is going to spend the rest of her life as a drugged up Lullaby girl or be saved (they keep you on your toes). I really hope there is more Lullaby girls in the future, girls who gets saved by tarnished knights.

This outstanding book was written by two talented authors that knows how to lure their readers into a story that was very well written with characters that were so well created that I couldn’t stop turning the pages until the very end!
Holy moly I loved it! Costello and Ariana hot, hot, hot together! The chemistry between is awesome! The world that these two authors created is intriguing and dark. Its scary and yet so scintillating! I devoured it!
I was wondering about this book at first because while I love Alta Hensley, she normally writes stories that are way to dark for me. Measha Stone is a one click for me so because they wrote this together, I thought I would give it a try. I’m so happy I did!! Yes, it’s way darker than what I’m normally used too but the whole storyline just sucked me right into it and I finished it in one evening!! I expect Mafia stories to be dark but there was something about the story that made me keep reading. I went through a whole range of emotions as I read Costello and Ariana’s story and was happy with the way it ended. I’m really hoping that the other “littles” get a story because I would love to see what happens with them. If you love reading either of these authors, then you need to get this book.
Fair warning – this book takes Daddy Doms and little girls to a whole new level! Ariana was stuck in a hopeless situation at the House, but luck must have been with her when she was assigned to Costello. He was certainly no angel, but I really liked his character, all sexy hot and commanding! This novella was a good dark read, creating a world of lg’s that are trained to be good to their forever daddies. I liked how it ended, but there were some things left unresolved, and I’m curious to see if there will be more books to follow.
I don’t know what to call this!
It is definitely not your usual fare. Instead of just brute force, these men use a much more insidious method to abduct and train unsuspecting women.
Here we have two of the genres best authors concocting a story that will have you glued to the pages from beginning to end!
Raw, unapologetic, outside the box writing.
