In her no-nonsense way, she wants to know the name of this Scottish warrior, why they share the same tattoos, and what mysterious force immediately draws her to him.Mael Mag Raith may be the clan’s gentle giant, but he finds his patience … giant, but he finds his patience sorely tested with Rosealise. Though he would do anything to protect the beautiful lass, she has a will of iron and a talent for getting her way.

Rosealise knows what she wants and works until she gets it…that means Mael is what she’s after. The push and pull between them ranges through all emotions. The story also includes the Mag Raith clan. There is love, suspense, adventure and a great writer who tells their tale. I am an ARC reader who loves her job. I voluntarily wrote this review. Please pick up a copy of this book and enjoy every second the story brings. Mael and Rosealise are waiting to share their tale.
We continue in the Scottish Highlands in this second book of the series. This time it’s the tracker & second, Mael that’s in for a surprise when Rosealise drops out of the sky. The story wheel keeps turning as we learn more about the Clan and the demon’s who are after them. The author does a great job of keeping us on our toes.
Mael Mag Raith and his clan have excaped the demons that took them prisoners long ago. When they got free and landed back on earth they had no memory and was talked into serving a dishonest druid named Galan with a lie that he had brought them back. When a women returned the same way. They found out he lied and left with her for dun chaill. The women is Jenna and she turned out to be one of the men’s (Domnal) other half in the demon world .
The others in the clan are fargus, Broden, Edane, and Kiaran.
Rosalie Dashlock had excaped the Slucth (demons ) on earth she is with the Mag Raith and Jenna. But she has no memory of her past her time with the demons or her other half. Yet.
Galan, the Druid was been kicked out of the druids, his position has head of the moss dapple . Losing his power he has dug his hole even deeper and made a deal with the Slucth to turm over the mag Raith to them for the demons to bring back his long dead human wife. Or so they said they would. But there demons right .I don’t see that working well for him lol. That’s just my opinion guess we will see.
Lots of amazing twist and mystery to the story. I love the characters. It has drama, spice, intrigue, betrayal, magic, and so much more. Don’t miss it because it fantastic.
Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.
A step back in time affords readers the opportunity to look inside the lives of five Pritani men and women who have literally ‘fallen through time’.
Mael is in a wooded area when he sees something very unusual…something that changes his life and that of his clan. The encounter answers some questions as well as stirs the fire in his blood. And so the story begins.
Once again readers are privy to a powerful story of time travel and hidden agendas as well as danger…it’s all around and often in places you would least expect it.
I found myself flipping pages as fast as possible and losing some sleep because I was determined to finish. And, I must say I would do it again because the end was worth the effort!
There are plenty of twists, interesting characters and some PG moments you won’t want to miss. This one is a page-turner that rewards the author with 5 well-earned stars. Flawless.
I thought Mael, Book Two in the Clan Mag Raith series, could never live up to Domnall & Jenna’s story in Book One. I was wrong about that.
Instead of a modern-day woman mysteriously swept back to the past, this time it’s a headstrong, no-nonsense 18th century Miss. Rosealise crashes into Mael at Dun Chaill, and their fate is sealed. They belong together. As they fight through turmoil, chaos, and evil forces, will their love, friends, and family be enough to save them?
Mael is a must read for all fans of time-travel and romance. The book works as a standalone novel, but I highly recommend reading Domnall, Book One first. It will increase your enjoyment of this story.
I read this book through the Kindle Unlimited program.
I do read too much, why when I read new installment in series, I need sometimes to remember the previous plot and this series has its lot of plots and vilains.
But it was a pleasure to dive back in this astonishing paranormal time travel romance.
Difficult to write about this story without giving up too much revelations.
Maël is the usual Highlander as Mrs Hazel Hunter knows how to create them, strong but also caring and deeply in need of a gentle soul to soothe his hunger for love.
Rosealise is the mystery of this new book, I liked that for once she is not like always the classic modern woman trapped in the past, in herself she is an enigma, her speech and manners are very different from Jenna, the other woman rescued in the previous book.
This confrontation of time period added to the background plot.
Few things moved in this second tale but it enlightened about the different members of the clan.
One more great read.
It was stellar!
Awesome book. I could have given it 5 stars (or more) before even reading the book but now that I’m done I really regret there are no more stars to give. Like all of Hazel Hunters books you’ve got hot, hunky heroes and kick butt women. In this case it’s Mael and Rosealise. This is the second book in the Mag Raith clan and while it stands alone, you’ll definitely get more out of it if you read book 1 first. We get more information on the warriors and their backstory and we meet Mael. His father was big and brutal and he’s afraid everyone sees him that way. Rosealise sees the truth and thinks he’s wonderful though so they get an HEA. Well developed characters that you’ll love and root for. You’ll catch up on the others in the clan and they’ll have obstacles to overcome. I love that the women are such perfect matches for the men in this series and the women aren’t useless burdens. They contribute their own knowledge and skills. Plan enough time to read this straight through. If you haven’t read book 1 yet, what are you waiting for? You’ll want to finish in one sitting, so plan ahead and hide out if necessary. There are no good stopping points. Very highly recommended. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

Mael finds his English Lady
Mael goes outside to look at the maze, only to be knocked over by a naked woman She has no memory of her life before she landed on the hulk of a man but he seems familiar and she is instantly attracted to him. When he tells her how she came to be there, she thinks his crazy
Rosealise brings with her another time traveller, which causes a bit of envy and jealousy amongst one of the other men and Mael, and unravels more of this time period and castle in which they find themselves. The demons are once again up to no good and Galan continues his search for the Mag Raith Clan.
This book is quicker paced than the first but perhaps it’s just me getting used to the way in which the characters speak which is quickening Suffice to say I really feel in love with Mael and his English lady and at one point, I was ugly crying….so tissues is a must to have on hand.
Thank you to Hazel for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review and I eagerly await Edane’s story next
This book is filled with action and intrigue, it has a great storyline. The interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
I didn’t read the first book in this series so it took a bit to catch up. Rosealise gets dealt one bad hand after another. Thrust into a demon realm brings her Mael. This story is full of heart and intrigue. I really enjoyed this twisted tale. I received an advanced copy of this book. I freely leave this honest review.
Wonderful series…
Feeling like she has no control over her life, a surprise proposal/wedding sends Aria over her breaking point. She becomes a runaway bride. When Wheeler finds Aria in his barn, he’s unprepared for how his life will change. Will the two be able to help each other overcome their “issues”? While this is the second story in the series, it doesn’t need to be read in order.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I received this story, this is my voluntary review.
Mael is an enjoyable read with vivid imagery. It offers action, drama, intrigue, and romance that grabbed and held my attention throughout. I appreciated the twists and turns of the story that kept me invested and entertained. I adored the undeniable attraction between Rosealise and Mael- they are absolutely perfect for each other. The ending left me yearning for the next book in this series. I can’t wait to read Edane’s story.
Well-developed storyline with twists, action, intrigue, danger and romance. Mael’s story gives us more of an insight into the conditions in the Underworld and an inkling as to why the traps in the castle have been developed. Rosealise’s new ability causes quite a stir at first, but with training, she manages to master it. This book was hard to put down as I just wanted to know what was coming next. I highly recommend this book.
I loved this book! I love the tie in to the 19th century UK as well. Rosealise is an amazing character and it was nice to see someone from a different time period join the clan. While I love the crossovers with modern times, I think this is my new favorite because of that tie to the 19th century. I enjoyed the story and how close Rosealise and Mael become and the ties between them. I admit, I wish I had her powers of persuasion as it would make my work life much easier, but I also like that she is hesitant to use it and struggles to find a way to control it so as to not force others to do what they do not want to do. This was a great second book in an interesting series by an amazing author and I cannot wait to see where the next book takes us.
It’s official, I have a new favourite story in this series. Mael and Rosealise’s is fantastic. Jealousy between brothers added into the mix, lots of romance, action and manipulation in this one. Beautifully crafted with great characters and excellent research. This one reads like a dream, I was complusively turning the pages until the end.
Love all her books & this series
Loved the series of this author.
I started this book but deleted it after two chapters. Couldn’t get into it.
