The best mixtape always has a mix of favorites on it— songs playing in the background at Jude and Derek’s wedding or when Simone finally falls in love. Loud beats pounding the dance floor when Blue tries to seduce Tristan in public, or sleepy notes written late at night while Jude is on tour. Strains of familiar music bring heart-gripping memories rushing back in—memories of the first time Tilly … Tilly meets Senator Cannon, the weekend a mysterious new family member arrives at a snowy cabin expecting solitude but finding a sexy lumberjack instead, or the winter Teddy “accidentally” strands Jamie in Tibet.
Made Marian Mixtape is a collection of everything from a short 1k word vignette to a longer 30k novella. Catch glimpses into the lives of favorite existing Marian characters and meet new ones as well. With everything from hot nookie in a broken elevator to double-doses of pre-wedding panic, Mixtape presents over ten new stories set in the Made Marian world that will make you sniffle, swoon, and laugh out loud.
Made Marian Mixtape is 72k words in length and best enjoyed by readers familiar with the Marian world.
Early praise for this collection:
“Slam this bad boy into your tape deck. Hngh. Harder.” – Leonard Skynard (Lynard’s very, very distant cousin)
“OMG all the feels.” – Boomers trying to be Millennials
“For god’s sake, fast forward to the good stuff.” – Matilda Marian
“Maybe remove that shower scene? Ahem.” – Maverick Marian
“But we really wanted to wear the tuxedos.” – Springsteen and Patsy Cline (the pugs, not the singers)

I enjoyed getting back in touch with the crazy Marian family. They are, as always, just a step off of the “normal” line and they revel in it.
The different stories bring us up to date with what’s going on in their lives and give us insight into the past, also.
The story with Ammon and Mark is touching and beautiful. They are so sweet I could just hug these two for hours.
I look forward to more by this author.
Fun collection of stories and more info on these well loved characters
4.5 stars…So this was a fun collection of stories to read but three definitely stood out.
First, I loved the story of Simone and Joel’s wedding day. After Borrowing Blue I had a soft spot for Simone and always wondered why we never got more info on her. Then there were references to her and Joel in later books but no details. So it was nice to get that story finally.
Second, my favorite story was the story of Ammon and Mark. I’d been looking forward to getting his story and I loved the way it played it out. Though man did I want to throat punch a few people. And I wanted to slap that lawyer that was so stupid that she didn’t deal with her paralegal immediately. I really wanted the breach of confidential information to come back to bite. Also wished we heard what the verdict was.
Third, and the emotional one was Tilly’s story. So sweet and so heartbreaking. Tilly is usually the comic relief so it was nice to see this side of her.
Great book for the Marian fans. There are some consistency issues that should have been dealt with by an editor or proofreader or betas. But overall an enjoyable read.
A great little addition to the series – some real gems in this book.
If you have read the Made Marian series, you will love this book! The characters are familiar. I had been wanting their stories. This is a low angst book with plenty of craziness, hilarity, and the kind of love we all crave. The stories will carry you along from one to another. I didn’t want to stop reading. Come. You will love this book!
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex, and is intended for mature readers only.
This book Is not intended as standalone because all the stories completed a story in the Marian Universe or simply showed us what happened after. Easy to read, low angst, cute little stories about people we met during the series. Ms Lennox even recomended the reading order at the end of the book. A must have for anyone that loved the original stories.
I loved this book! I cried a lot, mostly reading Ammon & Mark’s story, I hated for their story to end, I wanted so much more. It was great to catch up & read more on the Marian family, I love them & their stories so much. Thanks for giving us more Lucy!
I absolutely loved these Made Marian shorts and novellas! I especially loved Ammon and Mark and got to see their happily ever after. I also loved peaking into Simone and Joel’s life first hand and the shenanigans of Aunt Tilly, Granny and Irene. Gideon and Hunter rounded out this lovely story about one of my favorite families.
