So much more to the story then the description. This was a one sit read that I found myself completely absorbed in. A bit different than shifter stories but I liked it. Definitely checking out more from this author. Great read.

This was a new author to me. She drew me in from the first page and didn’t let go. I really enjoyed the book and I’m looking forward to reading more in the series.
Miranda Lynn was a new to me author before reading this story. I really enjoyed Mack and Casey’s story and their path to finding love. I loved the originality of the world created. I couldn’t put it down, not even to write a review as I have now just finished the 3 available stories and I want more. It was a page turner and if you enjoy shifter books you should grab this one too.

Miranda Lynn’s shifter story Mack was an enjoyable read that I would recommend. In a world where shifters are being hunted, there is safety in numbers and packs are uniting regardless of species. I look forward to reading the next installment of this series!
This is fast-paced read with a writing style that pulls a reader in. I was a bit leery at first with the whole sister or mate thing, but as the story progresses and things come together, it makes more sense. The romance of shifter mates, some shifter politics, a bit of magic, and a war between packs keep the story flowing nicely, and the characters and relationships between pack members were interesting, creating a solid start for a series.
The only drawback for me was that I felt like some areas of the story could’ve been developed a little better, but hopefully, that will come as the series goes on. Overall, I did enjoy the read and will be checking out book 2 in the series.
