Some secrets should stay buried…College student Drew Brady never wanted the power to spy on his friends. But late one night, he finds a box of old Polaroids buried under his house that can change to show him whatever he desires, and Drew finds himself with the power to watch the people around him without them ever knowing.Yet as Drew falls deeper into the rabbit hole of jealousy and despair, he … jealousy and despair, he begins having strange visions of the students who lived at the house 20 years ago and the gruesome fates they met after moving out. He finds evidence of a stalker who may be living on the property. The line between reality and nightmare blurs. Drew realizes there is something under the house that is manipulating him through the pictures, an eldritch, not-quite-dead thing that will drive him to do unspeakable evil if he doesn’t look away….
A blistering page-turner, LURK is horror unlike you’ve ever read.

This was an unusual book. Slow to start I thought, once it got going (Midway) it was well written and original. I was very happy with it until the very last few pages where it seemed to turn into a public service announcement. Maybe it was just me but I hated the very end of the book, The author could have just ended it about three or four pages earlier and I would have like the book a lot better. Still the writing was good and the story enjoyable.
Wonderfully twisted , amazingly written, have you on the edge of your seat novel. This is definitely not for the faint of heart. You will never look at a box of Polaroids this same again! Needing a mind bending scare, this is absolutely the book for You!!!
This was a fun read. It wasn’t really all that scary, but it was entertaining and twisty. I will look for more of this author’s work.
Intriguing and creepy.
Amazing, creepy, and scary. Loved it!
It was an easy read. It was painful to read and scary to think that it could happen in life. It was capturing because you want to keep wanting to keep running back to it. Great story!
This book started out OK, but then quickly devolved into a rather twisted, icky-sticky tale. Without giving out any ‘spoilers’, I CAN say that what I thought was going to be a supernatural thriller soon turned into a ‘psychological thriller’ instead. Really, it was more a portrait of mental illness than anything else! …NOT my cup of tea at all. Bleah! This one really left a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak!
I really enjoyed this book. I found it original with mostly interesting characters and engaging enough to read to the last page. Also was a quick read I my opinion.
Story is both frightening and tragic. Couldn’t stop reading and could not believe how it ended. Left my skin crawling, that’s for sure.
Creepy book. Well written but creepy.
I enjoyed this book. Unlike so many that I have started and then discarded before completing, this one held my attention until the last page.
Boring! Couldn’t even finish it.
The story made no since boring.
I liked the twist at the end. It leads you one way then turns you back the other way. I enjoyed it.
Very creepy, I didn’t pin the ending at all.
Didn’t really like the story line.
Was very engrossing
I got about 3/4 through it and then it just LOST me. It was too graphic in places and I decided it just wasn’t for me.
often very eerie
It was a good book, sometimes drawn out unnecessarily which is why only 3 stars, but it is was an easy and entertaining read, very twisted with a few surprises.
