They say I’m their princess! Who are they kidding? I’m just Silver Springs Resident Orphan.
Even in Silver Springs, a town full of paranormal abnormalities, Lupine, the town’s resident orphan has never felt like she belonged.
Overworked, stressed, hair flying everywhere, Lupine is constantly on the move working with the unique children in the Silver Spring’s Orphanage. The Silver Springs human … Orphanage. The Silver Springs human population regularly grumble to her about their parenting challenges.
They have no idea! They should try being responsible for twenty or so paranormal children. The orphanage is pure mayhem. The witches are hiding Lupine’s keys, the half-angels keep levitating up to the roof and the shifters are running rogue.
When the mafia come to town, will she finally find her home among the wolves?
Lupine is a paranormal mafia royalty reverse harem romance from USA Today Bestselling Author, Hanleigh Bradley. It’s part of the Silver Springs shared universe.

Lupine (Spell Library Book 3) by Hanleigh Bradley is such an awesome story that I have read. This is book number three out of thirteen and I can not wait to read the next book. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves to read romantic comedy, small town romance and paranormal reverse harem romances.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Cute story. I’m just getting into the world of Silver Springs and I enjoyed this. I’m a fan of fates mates and shifters, so that was a no brainer. And I though that Lupine as the manager of the orphanage where she grew up was a great character.
I’d have loved more character development, especially for the guys, and I’m definitely left wanting to know more about their future.
As far as I know, Silver Springs is in NY, so the use of British terms/slang had a tendency to pull me out of the story a bit. And I listened to the audiobook, which I enjoyed, but there were more than a couple times that lines were duplicated.
Much like my previous review of the story Candela, Lupine is a standalone book in a series. I bring this up because they’re apparently part of the same literary universe, with numerous different authors. It’s an interesting concept for sure and now that I’m aware of it, I can see the similarities.
Lupine was more story than smut and that was a bit of a disappointment. While I enjoyed the story, I really felt like I was reading several chapters into a novel. I was able to understand what was going on, but I felt as if I was missing a lot of details and the story ended as soon as it got exciting. This being the third book in the series, this makes total sense.
The biggest thing that annoys me about Lupine, Candela, and the whole literary universe is that not every book seems to get the audiobook treatment. There are 21 books listed in the Spell Library series on Audible and only six of them have audiobooks. But it’s not the first six. I’d like to get the full story and listen to them in order, but I can’t and I’m not a fan of reading/listening to books in multiple formats. Even if I stick to the Lupine novels (of which there appear to be 4), only the first 2 have audiobooks and I have no way of telling if the other 2 will receive the same treatment.
While on the topic of the audio narration, the audio recording features numerous examples of repeated dialogue. The narrator did an excellent job.
I realize this review might sound a little all over the place. But so are my feelings for this novel. I enjoyed it, sure. But the abrupt ending and feeling like I’m left in the middle of a novel are a bit annoying. I think if you’re considering this story, you should consider looking into all 4 Lupine novels or don’t bother.

“Anything is possible in Silver Springs.” —Lupine
I’m new to this world, having only read Violet, Wynter, Calluna’s Christmas short and Candela … but yes, I do know that much is true.
I take an instant liking to Lupine, she seems very down to earth and relatable. This installment is fun, IMO because it’s mainly set in an orphanage. The kids are all different types of supernaturals and various ages and it really adds a fun dynamic. I’d love to read more in this world, and particularly in Lupine’s world.
A fun, fast read that spiced up a few hours of my work day very nicely.
4 stars.
Note:
The audio performance is perfect! This narrator is great; hope to listen to more from her.
,
This is actually my 1st audiobook. or amy book for that matter, by Hanleigh Bradley.
Even though this isn’t the 1st in series it was easy to follow. The 3 star rating is basically because the storyline & characters weren’t in depth and complex enough for me. I just couldn’t much to truly like. I am an extremely picky listener/reader.
However, I do not an any way discourage you from purchasing this title & forming your own opinion.
There is really not a whole lot going on but day to day things. Then a Group of men move in across the Street and the rumor is they are Mafia. They work at the Supernaturals Gym as personal trainers and such. Then just living life with not all that much happening till the end.
A fun, light hearted but steamy – paranormal, reverse harem romance read / listen. This is a part of the Silver Springs series which is a collection of paranormal RH reads by different authors. I very much loved Lupine’s story of finding your family. She is a strong character and the book is full of lil bits of humor. I love the characters in her orphanage that are quite the eclectic bunch – but this story is more than just an orphan finding family – there is danger involved too. Overall a great, storyline – I especially enjoyed to balance of humor and steam – in the audio version I listened to there was a section where some of the lines were duplicated but other than that, the narration was very well done.
this book was given to me for free at my request and i provided this voluntary review
*this review is based on the audio version of this read
Lupine grew up in the orphanage she now runs she takes care of supernatural children and loves every minute of it . When a group of Wolf shifters move in across from her the town gossip is that they are Mafia and she can’t help ask them out right when she meets them she has a case of lack of brain to mouth filter
This is the third book in the Spell Library, a multi authors Series. This short small town paranormal RH romance is fun, entertaining, fast paced, sexy, and suspenseful. I loved the characters. Lupine is wonderful, lovely, and caring. Her mafia wolf shifters are sexy, caring, and protective. The kids are cute! The supporting characters are great. The world building is original, intriguing and captivating. Joanna Wild did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it.
Wow this book gripped me from the first page. The cover is eye catching. The world, characters, plot and story made me laugh etc. Loved this
Paranormal RH Story
I read this story via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. This is a paranormal reverse harem story, 1 wolf shifter girl and 4 wolf shifter guys. The guys focus on the girl and not each other. This story is part of a multi author series but can be read alone. It does end on a cliffhanger.
**triggers**
reverse harem with 4 wolf guys loving on 1 wolf girl, a kidnapping that ends in a self defense shooting
**spoilers**
Lupine, a female wolf shifter who grows up in an orphanage. Later becomes the director of the orphanage full of shifter/paranormal children.
The 4 wolf shifters, move in across the street from the orphanage. They apparently run a gym. The 4 guys are Lupines mates come to find her.
Initially Lupine hears rumors the 4 wolves are mafia and doesn’t like them. Then she is drawn to them. She has “alone” time with one and later all 4 in the same day. No real relationship development .
These guys are not mafia (at least not in the traditional sense of mafia) but it is continually brought up in the story. Lupine also chooses to ignore their warnings for her safety. Overall this is fairly low key story. “Alone” time with her guys is not the main focus of the story. Ends on a cliffhanger.
I love Lupine and this story is so much fun. Lupine finds out she’s pregnant and the reaction she gets isn’t even close to what she was hoping for. The antics from the kids at the orphanage will leave you laughing out loud. We finally find out more about the what is up between the two families and why Rossi is after Lupine.
A cant help but think this book as similarities to the movie Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar children. Only because both lead characters run childrens homes with Supernatural kids that have powers. I kinda liked that all the kids had their own personalities and quirks especially surrounding powers. You cant help but love the kids. Still theyre a great background story to Lupine & the wolves. Their story is definitely action-packed and fast paced thats for sure. With a few of plot twists too. Still this book a pretty great read
Lupin
By Hanleigh Bradley.
Another example of Ms Bradley’s uncanny ability
To bring her characters, their world and the
Reader’s all into sync, without having to work at it.
Lupin is someone we could all relate to on some level, but considering her life choices she is amazed when suddenly finding herself surrounded by four male hunks who are determined to prove her worth and exactly what she means to them, Lupin is having to suddenly consider everything she ever believed her life entailed, especially with the information they also bring her.
The orphanage is her life, those special children are what she believes in with every fibre of her being, so how is she (a simple child who was left as an orphan herself) ever meant to become part of some prophecy, can she really believe what she is hearing, or for that matter trust the reactions her body is having to these four scrumptious men who are definitely influencing her decision.
Definitely a huge page turner with the possibilities of so many different ways this storyline could go, can Lupin trust what she is hearing and seeing, are her children safe being with her, Lupin is yet to truly appreciate or understand how or why this is happening.
But……to keep those she loves safe, there is absolutely nothing she wouldn’t do to keep everyone around her safe.
Again Ms Bradley has created a superb novel that’s going to keep me waiting with baited breath for the next book in this series.
Werewolves, magic, witches and who knows what else is going to pop up but this is one series I highly recommend anyone who loves paranormal to grab a copy, I think you will be extremely surprised at the ongoing twists plus action and suspense continually found throughout this brilliant read.
If you enjoy this read please don’t hesitate to let a review for the next person who is interested. Again Thankyou in advance.
Super quick read that had my smiling, laughing, & crying. The MC was well developed & I loved the HEA. No cliffhanger!
I loved loved loved this book! I could not stop reading it lol. If I could rate it 100 stars I would in a New York minute. I’m actually glad Valentina might actually be changing for the better. I hope she ends up being Amon’s mate or he ends up being one of her mates! I hope Lupine gets a second book because I want to know that little pups name. And what happens next with the Rossi.
Good story full of unique often quirky characters and a story that is full of the unexpected.
Lupine has to be one of my favorite ladies in this series. I love the way she is with her orphans and the way her men don’t stand in her way of helping them. I cant wait to read the next installment of this series
It all started because of that darn book! Love Blooms, indeed.
I just finished reading Lupine and I must say that I enjoyed it! Lupine had everything! From drama, action, and my personal favorite, romance. And romance this book really had.
Lupine Cortesse the owner of the orphanage in Silver Springs. Her past is shrouded in mystery. She doesn’t know who her parents are since she arrived at the orphanage herself as a baby. Feeling overwhelmed by the responsibility of the orphanage and its children is a lot but its something she is willing to take on.
Everything seems fine until a group of sexy men shows in Silver Springs to open a gym. Rumors are that they are mafia. To make matters worse, they move across the street from the orphanage. Clearly this not a good idea to have such criminals so close to the children. Lupine is not too pleased or pleasant when the new neighbors introduce themselves. But with their striking good looks and respectful, always willing to help demeanor isn’t enough to win her over. Soon Lupine finds herself caught up in her past and four handsome wolf shifters in Wren, Rehan, Camden, and Kalen.
But what is that connects these five? Is it just kismet? Or is there something more mysterious? And why are these wolves so protective of Lupine? Hmm…? (no spoilers)
Bradley does a good job of building her main character. By far Lupine isn’t perfect. She has her flaws. But most importantly, Lupine is honest with who she is and what she is. I think that is why I like Ms. Bradley’s characters so much because they are always honest with the reader and they never appear forced. She makes you believe in the character and I think that’s what makes for good storytelling.
Let me start off by saying this is book three in this series and although you can read it on its own I feel like you would enjoy the story a lot better if you read book 1 & 2 and also there will be 13 books in this series so you might want to start this series now while you still have time to catch up and let me tell you this is a series you do not want to miss. This book sucks you in from the beginning and you want to know more and even when the story is over you still want to know more, and you can’t wait for the next one.
