Luna (FMC) answers and ad looking for women who are wanting adventure but what she ends up being is taken to an alien planet Aarzyn to be a mate to an alien clan. With only her translator she finds that shes like a fish out of water. Unfamiliar with the customs and with a mate she doesnt like Luna tries to make the best of the situation. With the help of Aaashi men (the aliens) Axoh (healer), Vallyn (Guard), Zigur and Daku (fearful of trusting females) she makes her way in a new world. Some difficult and funny moments when lack of communication is a problem but Luna & her guys find a way around it. I dont usually like sci-fi books but i really liked this one. Its a great read
I’ll be honest (don’t judge me) I was wasn’t sure I was going to like this one; this was my first alien type read BUT you know what… I’m here for it! From beginning to end I was hooked! There were so many details to this read, a sassy heroine that will have you smiling as she navigates all things Aashi and all the swoon I honestly cannot wait to dive into the next book in this series; SO GOOD!
Oh this book was awesome!!!! Four arms and two tails on each alien, well sign me up for some loving.
Imagine travelling through space to meet your alien husband, only to find out that things are not as expected. Well Luna pulls up her big girl panties and tackle the situation head on. I really enjoyed this book. It was funny and really hot.
I highly recommend this book!
New human mates upset the power of the ruling Queens!
by sewsummore
This was a humorous story that made me laugh many times at the situations Luna and some of her other female brides found themselves in. Humans are naturally touchy and friendly but when a females touch the Aashi males it says “I choose you for my mate”. Needless to say this did not go over well with the ruling Clan Queens or with the chosen mates who were expecting to mate with the human females. This could have been avoided if the translating units has been fully charged, but alas this was not the case and Luna and her mistakenly chosen mates have to flee for their lives. They were helped to escape with the help of two outcasts Aashi and Luna forms her own clan. Luna respects her mates and soon cares for them deeply first two by mistake and later two more through choice. The story line in this book was well planned and executed, the characters of Luna’s chosen mates well drawn with differing capabilities and personalities. I like that when Luna formed her own clan that she made it clear that she would not rule by herself, but be it was to be ruled along democratic lines.

The ad sounded like a wonderful vacation, getting out of your boring job, going to new exciting places, meeting new people! By the time they revealed the actual facts, only 8 women remained to sign the NDA and travel to an alien planet. They would marry one of the Aashi men who live on Aarzyn and would live with one of the six different Clans. Their race was slowly dying because no female babies were being born. Now only 5 women remained in the group. They needed one more, Quinn, and she and Elle, Brooklyn, Hadley, and Jessica, all became close friends. This whole program was so the M’Mori aliens could mine for a special rock called Aket to power their spaceships, and would return the favor by transporting brides to the Aashi. Earth, of course, got a cut of the rocks to build and power their spaceships as well for defense, so everyone was happy.
On the day they landed, it became evident that they had not been told some important information they needed to know. For example, touching activates a mating bond! And humans are mostly tactile, loving to touch things to find out how they feel or smell or whatever. It doesn’t take much imagination to see what’s going to get started! The first issue was that the M’Mori had arrived too early and the chosen, who would get a bride, from Clan Zaali were still not there. Vallyn and Axoh had arrived early to prepare the hut for the female. Vallyn told Axoh they must step forward as chosen males of the Zaali Clan to claim their female and make sure their Clan gets one. When Luna was given to them, her scent immediately affected Axoh. She stretched out her hand to them, and they told her they were not her chosen – but he appeared to want to be!
Luna was sort of hurt that all the other ladies had 5 males to walk them back, while she only got 2 and they were not even her chosen. Why did they act afraid of her and tried to stay as far away as they could? When she met her chosen the next day, she immediately disliked the Queen’s son, Nezyn, and would not let him dismiss Vallyn. He also wanted to replace Axoh as her healer, but she wouldn’t allow it. When she set her translator in the sun to charge, Nezyn deliberately stepped on it and she punched him – so why did that make him smile? But when Axoh and Vallyn, and two Outcasts Daku and Zigur who followed her are strongly attracted to her by her scent, there may be some big problems on the horizon!
This was a delightful book. It was funny and the characters were great! The situations that came up throughout were hilarious. And just wait until the ladies find out they are not getting just one mate! Oo-la-la! Grab your copy and enjoy the beginning of their HEA where language, culture, and lack of crucial information make for a chaotic result!
If you are looking for a different take of RG you need to grab this book! It has amazing characters and packs a serious punch! And oh my gosh I need more! That ending you won’t see coming and it will leave you needing more! Seriously if you have not one clicked and gotten and read this book yet you don’t know what you are missing if you like alien stories you are going to gobble this up!!!!!
This might be a shorter read but it is so developed and detailed. The world building is incredible creating a very vivid and very purple world. I easily fell in love with each character and their personalities. The flow of the story is seamless and easy to follow. There is so much I want to say about this book but do not want to give anything away. I cannot wait for the next book of the series. I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased, honest review.
All I can say is hello purple. It’s like Belle harper wrote this book for me. Hot aliens and all the purple that could possibly be in one book. There was a line in the book about if you loved purple than this planet was meant for you. And it is meant for me can I go.
This book was a quick read but the author did a great job developing all of the characters and the relationship. I really enjoy when they have to learn each others language. It was more so done of the guys part in this book.
Can’t wait for the next book…bring on more purple men
After reading this book I want my own Alien Harem. So as I started reading this book, I got sucked in this book real quick. So here we go, Luna goes to an alien planet only to find out that the she was not given all the facts. So, I was pretty intrigued as to how this would play out with the language barrier. Then it got crazy!! Humans like to touch, especially when something new and beautiful is around you so I don’t blame Luna at all. But, that didn’t go well at all because touch starts a mating bond. Crazy right? So who does Luna touch? Yeah, not telling you cause you have to read the book. But I will say that her scent attracts some gorgeous male specimens. Axoh, Vallyn, Daku and Zigur drawn to her which may cause some problems. So what happens? There were some interesting twist that I didn’t see coming.
I loved the characters and the emotions they put off. They were easy to fall in love with. The story just flowed together. This book was very informative and loved their reactions to all things mating. That ending though, really it was getting so good. I can’t wait for the next.
