I used to see dragons. That was before they killed my mother, and people stamped the “crazy” label on my forehead. These days, I have no time for that. I just want to graduate and get out of Summers Lake. But when a group of my classmates vanishes without a trace, I’m sucked back into a supernatural whirlwind. Desperate, I enlist my forever-crush and two of his friends who seem to know more than … friends who seem to know more than they let on, except they won’t tell me anything.
They’re sexy and infuriatingly charming, but that’s not going to stop me from figuring out what happened.
Soon, I get the truth out of them, and it’s not pretty. They’re dragon shifters and have answers about my past, and my role in their hidden world. It turns out it’s my duty to protect humans from evil dragons, whether I like it or not.
And when my classmates start turning up dead, the race against the clock is on. I have to find the killer or bear the guilt of my friends’ death on my conscience for the rest of my life.
*** Leap into USA Today bestselling author Ingrid Seymour and Katie French’s action-packed adventure, a Young Adult Dragon Shifter romance with a fierce heroine and three handsome dragons.
*** First in series. Should be read in order.

Dragons! Lila’s childhood belief that dragons existed turns out to be true. And not all of them are friendly! Interesting premise and an exciting story. Very enjoyable!
Okay, you can’t go wrong when a book starts… “Many towns had secrets, but the town of Summers Lake had a secret so old it ached…” And it goes on to grab you because the secret is… dragons!
Be still my heart! Buckle your seat belt because this is a ride you won’t forget. LOL.
Luminous is an entertaining read that kept my attention from the beginning. I enjoyed the story and the writing, and found myself digging the “reverse harem” aspect, though I’ve always been a little wary of that particular plot device. The book moves along at a fast clip from the first page, but sometimes it moves a little too quickly. I normally like fast-paced books, because I feel I become more immersed in the story, however, there were important plot points left unaddressed in order to accommodate the pacing. For instance, what did the townspeople think had happened to their missing children? What did the meeting between Katie and the dragon elders look like? Additionally, the male characters really could have used some further development. I very much look forward to reading the next book, but hope the authors will dedicate more time to the details in the sequel.
This book was provided to me at no charge. My review is voluntarily given.
YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO READ THIS STORY!!!
As per the norm I was not disappointed in any way, shape or form. I have read what these amazing authors do solo, but when you add both to the mix you are always left speachless with the overwhelming talent these ladies present. Talk about getting to the nitty gritty of the situation these two perform magic. I was drawn in at the very beginning and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I had to know what was next. What’s going to happen now. I mean with these gifted writers here the possibilities are endless. Its like they connect on whole different realm than the rest of us. Genius! I could go on and on about what happens here, what is she gonna do now. Hows she going to get out of this one. But because I’m me, I do things my way. Cause seriously who wants to read something boring enough to put ’em to sleep. Yeah, you know what talking about. The characters were absolutely the stand up and take notice types. The scenes were literally out of this world with vivid descriptions that bring you right to the center and your held mesmerized as everything is brought to life, your just like spellbound. The scenes were complex and added the spice that keeps your imagination thats already entwined with Ingrid and Katie, kind of like a mind link and your afraid to blink afraid you’d miss something. I loved following the main character as she tried to harness her gifts and frigure out why her friends were taken. Oh yeah, she is one bad a** female and doesn’t back down. No sir she stands her ground. I really feel a warning is in order here and you’ll thank me later. When you get your copy, you better grab a snack, a comfy seat, kick back and relax. You won’t be putting this little gem down for a second. I’m not kidding this tale gets under your skin and you have got to know what happens. Yes, I’m aware I used the same phrase, but its true. You have it all here with this little guy. You have your action, excitement, adventure, adrenaline rush, heart pounding moments that you’ll be like what… its a duh moment thank you. Ladies you have done an excellent job with this read. I love the way you brought it all together in such an astounding way. Thank you both so much for sharing this awesome read with us.
I quite enjoyed Lila’s journey. It’s about a small town mystery that has yet to be solved. There’s a bit of coming to age in Lila’s story. She’s a girl in high school that has tragically lost her mother. The loss leads her to stop believing in certain things. Things that she might just have need for in the future.
I liked Lila. I felt she was great character. She’s young and a bit ignorant to things but she adapts quickly and has a hunger for knowledge. She’s courageous, strong, compassionate and determined.
Luminous is just the beginning for Lila and her friends. I’m excited to see how their characters develop in the next part of their quest.
This is a fantastic read. If your a lover of the Supernatural and plenty of action. With lots of twists and turns you will definitely like this book. This Audiobook grabbed me right from the start and I could not put down the book. Before I new it I was finished. Its a real page turner as well as it had me on the edge of my seat. The Narrator and the Author have done a fantastic job. I definitely recommend this read.

I thought this book was a fast paced mystery paranormal. I didn’t realize it was a RH till I read the blurb after I grabbed it. (Oops) no matter. It seems to be a slow burn kinda RH so I’m LOVING it so far.
We followed Lila who is the main character in this book and she takes front and center. We do meet a trio of very handsome guys but again all the focus is on Lila and solving the mystery.
I was hooked from the very beginning of listening to the audiobook. I must say that the narrator is fabulous and did very well portraying the guys voices. She brought the story alive for me. Will move on to book 2!
