Grab your tissues!!! S.J. Molloy is at it again.
I’ve fallen in love with these characters and it feels like I’ve been with them on their journey through all their ups and all their downs.
This is yet again a nail biting, suspenseful installment of the love storie between Lucca (the wear’s his heart on his sleeve, dominant) and Lexi (the broken but Survivor). If you’re looking for a page turner this is it!!!
Definitely for readers 18+
Lexi and Lucca are back in book 4 of The Luminara Series. Lexi’s half-brother from Australia is back and searching for Lexi and Grace, her mother. He has set his eyes on Alexa Evangeline Robertson because she took something from him, and he wants her to pay.
Back in Tuscany after Michael finds them in the Scottish Highlands, Lexi and Lucca have returned to the farmhouse and have brought Grace. Grace endured years of torment at the hands of her abuser, Simon Parks. Lexi and Grace struggle with their darkness while the tormentor hides somewhere in the UK.
Lucca and Lexi’s life is changing with some amazing news. At this time when her life is in upheaval, Lexi finds being in Tuscany away from her friends is challenging. She has needed them since college to help her keep her light. Lucca desperately tries to keep away the darkness from drowning Lexi. Lexi’s warrior spirit and caring personality help her help Grace through some of the upheavals that come along the way.
Will Michael Parks find Lexi and get his revenge or will the light she is clinging to prevail?
Luminoso us the fourth book in The Luminara Series by SJ Molloy will have your emotions all over the place. The dark of the past rears its ugly head again just when things seemed to have settled. There is heartache and a deranged psychopath hellbent on revenge. This is the last book in the series and whilst it grabs at you and you want to keep the lights on there is also some aspects of the story that were a little too wordy for me.
The next chapter of Lucca and Lexi can they survive or will the past catch up with them and ruin their relationship.
Lexi is going through a lot, finding out she is pregnant and trying to hide it for the time being from friends and family but with horrendous morning sickness can she keep up the charade. Lucca as always is the protecting Lexi but can he be there all the time and keep her safe.
This is the fourth book in this series and to be honest if you are coming to this series fresh I would start from the beginning, although you do get more of the backstory within the book you really need to understand this couples journey from the beginning. With that said this story was epic, you understand a lot more of Lexi’s story and the ordeal that this woman went through in her childhood. I also loved the passion that jumps off the page with Lucca and that Lexi is his world and the utter determination that drives him to protect her.
This is a well written fast paced story with wonderful developed characters and a utter joy to read, although there is some dark history coming forward the light definitely out shines the dark. I can’t wait to read more stories by this wonderful author.
It just keeps getting better and better. After reading Luca’s Lust, I anticipated that the ending chain of events would transition to the beginning of Luminoso but alas SJ had other plans. I delighted in the fact that predictability is not an ingredient in this novel. SJ captivates the readers’ attention and leads them towards an emotionally charged rollercoaster of a literary adventure. I was a bit bummed out about the conclusion of Michael’s character (blame it on me feeling vindictive).
SJ created a work of art by incorporating a powerful description of the characters and plot of the story, a good balance of tension and release (at one point I almost threw my Kindle in the wall-almost) and a satisfying conclusion (all is right in the land of Lex & Luca). Overall, I would recommend this book- and I’m hoping that there is something in the works for Cameron- I’d love to see his story be told.
This is the fourth book in the Luminara Series. This is a Dark Erotica novel and is 678 pages. This story follows Lexi and Lucca. Lexi’s half brother Michael is bound and determined to make Lexi pay for all of sins. Michael skips parole and comes after Lexi. Lucca is bound and determined to keep her and her mother safe. So, he takes them away into hiding. The press leaks a scandal and creates an unnerving stressful situation. Warning – this book does contain sex, language, and violence.
OMG !!! Why oh why must things be like this…. why must Michael haunt Lexi!!! Lucca of course will do whatever he can to protect his woman and jeez my heart can’t take more of this ….. Yes it can and I cannot wait to see what happens next as this book has left me hanging by the seams and I must know what happens next!!
If you haven’t read the series start right away because this is one of those book series that you will never forget!!!
File F for Fantastic could not of been written any better SJMolloy thank you for bringing such an awesome series to us readers.
My reaction after Luminoso was WOW had to take time out to process what i just read and where to begin it was amazing.
The love between Lucca and Lexi is outstanding you couldn’t have a better couple together as well as all the family and friends so much love and affection there is between them all and the amazing news that brings them all even closer.
Knowing that the dark known as Michael lurks in the back ground just waiting for the right time to pounce is daunting because you don’t want it to happen and ruin the bubble that’s got so much Love and light.
You feel so many emotions while reading Luminoso Happiness, Love, joy, luck, heartache, sadness and Revenge it sucks you in till you have finished then leaves you breathless wanting more. Need Book 5 and can’t wait.
This is the continuation of Lexi and Lucca’s journey, and what a rollercoaster of a journey it is! Everything has been going so well for them both, and now everything is turned back upside down. Lucca will go to any lengths to protect his family and keep them safe. Lexi is hiding from an obsessed Michael.
This story is emotional, heartbreaking, with happiness, and revenge. This author has once again done a remarkable job in writing this story, and I was enthralled and intrigued throughout. It is wonderful when an author writes with such detail, that the reader is not left floundering!
I recommend this authors work for all, and I cannot wait to read the next instalment of this amazing series.
I enjoyed this book. This is the fourth book in this series and I highly suggest reading the previous three books to help your enrichment of the series and the characters. I enjoyed this book just as much if not more than the previous books. I was pulled into the story by the characters. They bring the story to life on each page. Luca and Lexi are back in another fast paced page turner. Lexi’s past has come to her present life and it came crashing. The past is looking for revenge and justice. Will Luca be able to protect them? What will happen when she comes face to face with her past? These characters are strong and just make the story for me. I loved them in the first books and I loved them in this one. Twists and turns and action, what more could you ask for. I highly recommend this book. Find out what happens to Luca and Lexi this time.
This details the next chapter of Lucca and Lexi’s lives as they embark on the journey of parenthood whilst still dealing with their issues from the past. I did enjoy finding out what was next in their story and how they respond and adapt to the new challenges in their lives and how their relationships with each other and their families cope under these new pressures. My only criticisms of this series is that it’s very heavy emotional subjects and at times I would have to have a break and refocus myself. I also found the many deep and meaningful declarations of love quite repetitive at one point and they aren’t always needed for the story or the character development.
This book continues where from it left off. SJ Molloy’s writing style is such that you really feel everything that Lexi and Lucca go through. The love Between Lexia and Lucca is so genuine and unique. This book is of adult content. It contains strong language, hot sex, and violence so it is not suitable for everyone to read and has many triggers in. This book is a roller-coaster to read.
3.5 Stars
Luminoso is the fourth book in the Luminara series by S.J Molloy. This story follows on from book three, so it isn’t a standalone. The series/books really need to be read in sequence to fully appreciate the story.
I have been on the fence with this series, having read the first three books as a boxset, I had felt that the story was really drawn out and could have been condensed into one or two books- and after reading this one, I still feel the same way- as this fourth instalment still doesn’t conclude the series, as there are two more books (at least) still to come- so I definitely think that they could have been condensed into a trilogy. The whole thing is very wordy and that frustrated me. But, I have warmed up to Lucca more in this book- but still couldn’t connect with Lexi in the way I would have liked, which was disappointing.
As mentioned in my review for the first three books- some of the dialogue/situations felt forced, somewhat awkward, or stilted- which was still an issue in this book, for me- although it does seem to have improved a bit from the first three books- and I did ‘enjoy’ this book more than the first three.
Crossing my fingers as I head into book #5.
Thank you, S.J. Molloy!
