I enjoyed this book very much!
I’ll read more of her books.
I really enjoyed this book. I can’t wait to read the other books in this series! I loved the suspense of the book, trying to figure out who was after Maddie. Luke didn’t want to help Maddie in the beginning but who can resist a damsel in distress?!!
Enjoyed this adventure
Terrific series all the way to the Eternity Springs novels. I’ve loved them all and always look forward to the next one.
Fun to read the back story connecting her series
It was a little difficult to follow and somewhat slow.
I’m new to Emily March, and I must say I enjoyed Luke very much. I usually like more of the steamy variety, but I loved this, and bought the rest of the series, because I had to know how the brothers turned out! Very pleased with the whole series!!!! Thanks, Emily! You have a new fan!!!
Thanks to Emily March’s writing talent for making the plot and characters so real. A great read!
Just could not get into this one
Wonderful series about family/brothers
Loved reading it. Good character building.
Enjoyed book because the writing flowed and story was very interesting. Characters were well-written and believable and didn’t want the story to end. Can’t wait for volumes 7+
Great story and great characters
Didn’t care for it, unrealistic
Loved all three of Emily March’s Callahan Brothers Trilogy.
Maddie Kincaid was running for her life. She was told to find Terri, on a yacht in another city, for help. But nobody was there when she finally arrived. Exhausted, she fell asleep in one of the bedrooms. Luke Callahan needed to get away for a while so he headed out on his boat to meet with his brothers for a fishing trip. He was surprised to find Maddie on board and even more concerned when he found out why she was there.
Maddie had had quite a life. She was the daughter of a famous rock star and was known as Baby Daggar. It sounds like a great life that everyone would want, but she didn’t like being in the public eye all the time, so she ran away several years ago. She moved to a small town and changed her name. Maggie was happy in her new life with her business helping old and infirm people remain in their homes. Everything was going great until she tried to help one of the seniors by getting rid of a bunch of dried mushrooms. A bunch being $4 million worth. Hence the running for her life part. The real owners of the drugs were trying to kill her.
The reason she was told to go to Terri was that Terri’s roommate was Luke, a DEA agent with many years of undercover experience. You can imagine how he freaked out when Maggie told him that she threw out some of the mushrooms because they wouldn’t all fit in her car.
This was an incredible romantic suspense. It had everything – mystery, romance, sex, a couple of pets, humor and great characters.
Reallyy liked this one.
