Didn’t Like the Hero
I have read all the books in this series, and I like the idea of it, featuring middle-aged heroes and heroines who have complicated pasts that bring them to Moonshire Bay. While I love the idea of the series, not every installment has been well executed. Unfortunately, I do not feel like this one was. We’re familiar with the heroine as she and her yoga place have been a part of the other stories. I like the heroine, although I don’t quite know if I buy that she would have changed so much from her days as a lawyer. Our jobs can change, but personalities are less likely to; we are always inherently ourselves. But my problem was not with the heroine. I had some real trouble with the hero in this book. I didn’t like how he wasn’t upfront with her and broke his promises. That’s just not hero material to me. I feel like a lot of their problems could have been sorted out if they just talked. I don’t like it when a couple’s conflicts in a book could be so easily resolved. I also thought the book ended abruptly. They finally have one of those discussions they should have been having all along, and boom, it was over. It definitely felt like there needed to be more to fully and properly end the story. Disliking the hero was enough of a deal-breaker for this book, but add on the abrupt end, and I found this book very unsatisfying.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
Ms. Sweet has given us another sweet and heartwarming Moonshire Bay story. This is Lucy’s story. She leaves her stressful and high-power job behind and comes to Moonshire Bay to start over. Brandt is the town’s mayor who hopes to win the governor’s seat. He takes an interest in Lucy, but she has trust issues and is hesitant and keeps turning him down. It doesn’t help that Brandt is not always truthful with her. They both had to overcome mistrust and misunderstandings before reaching their HEA. This was such a well-written story.
Ms. Sweet has such a unique writing style. As you read her stories you really feel like you are part of it yourself. She gives us such wonderful and endearing characters and her writing really brings the story to life. I’ve absolutely loved this series so far and meeting all the resident of Moonshire Bay. A really charming series I highly recommend!

Solid 3.5 star
We finally get to know more about Lucy and why she walked away from a successful legal career and come to Moonshire Bay, your heart breaks for her when you find out why and you really want her to find her happiness. Her and Brandt’s backwards and forward was a bit annoying to be honest and he irked me how much he stuffed up considering he is the Mayor and a business man so i expected more from him. This was a good read and I enjoyed seeing the folks of Moonshire Bay again, however it ends abruptly and leaves you questioning what would have happened next for Lucy and Brandt…due to this I unfortunately dropped a half star.

A wonderful and enjoyable read. Small town romance at its best with amazing characters you’ll easily fall in love with. This is the fourth book in the series and each one seems to be better than the first. If you haven’t read any of the previous books, you’ll definitely want to when you finish this one. The story line is captivating and entertaining and you may find it hard to put down .

Oh My God
Elle did it again. This book is so wonderful. I enjoy how strong Lucy is even tho she dont think so. I shocked how she always sees the negative first but understandable.
I love how big bad mayor gets tongue tied and brain tied when he even thinks about Lucy and when she is in the room its even worse.
Love this book.
Couple things I wish happened but thats just my brain.
Everyone should read this book and this series.

The fourth book in the A Moonshire Bay Small Town Romance series another well written story in this series, it just gets better with each new story. This is Lucy and Brant’s story and a misunderstanding. I enjoyed reading this story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lucy was a high-powered attorney in the big city, but gave it up for the slower pace of Moonshire Bay. She owns the yoga studio, and is looking to expand. Brandt is part owner of his family’s construction company. He’s also the mayor of Moonshire Bay, and he has political aspirations. It’s almost a running joke between them that he asks her out and she says no, so he keeps asking, and she keeps declining. He’s frustrating, though. He has trouble telling the truth and keeping his word to her. She’s maybe just a little too tough on him, but I love her snark. This series just keeps getting better. The characters are older than most romances, with careers and prior marriages, and maybe some jaded attitudes.

I really enjoyed Lucy and Brandt’s romantic journey. Brandt made so many mistakes I was continually shaking my head and telling him what a mistake he was making. I enjoyed the mix-up’s in their understands and the back and forth of the burgeoning relationship. It was good to see Lucy realise her worth after her brush with her ex. Another sweet read in this series.

Lucy has moved to Moonshire Bay to live a less stressful life, and that means no complicated relationships with men. Brant won’t take “No,” for an answer, which makes for a reluctant attraction between them. Will they be able to trust each other long enough to fall in love?
This is a heart-warming and sweet romance which will leave you feeling happy at the end of the book, and eagerly waiting for the next Moonshire Bay story.

This was a great finish to the Moonshire Bay series! This is probably my favorite book of the four. The characters are so well written, you can feel their insecurities and their joy. I was thrilled to see the women come together more than once and for the men to act as such. I will miss these characters since this was the final book in the series, but look forward to whatever Elle Sweet gives us next!

Enjoyed this sweet clean romance with Lucy and Brandt who meet in Moonshine Bay where she moved after her life fell apart. Brandt is the mayor and as soon as he meets Lucy he starts asking her out only to be turned down time after time. When they both set their sights on the same property to buy they come up with a compromise. Can these two work out a compromise on a relationship also?
I loved this book. It is the 4th book in the series The Moonshire Bay small Town Romance. I loved it so much that I am going to read the first three to see if they are as good as this one. I laughed and cried throughout the book.

We’ve seen Lucy in previous books so it was nice for her to get her own story. This book has multiple ups and downs. I enjoyed the characters and the bit of politics.

This is a beautiful story of love revisited by two people who went through divorce, one amicably and one bitterly. They find each other in Moonshire Bay, one an original resident and the other a newcomer. Elle Sweet has done it again with this 4th book in the Moonshire Bay series. Highly recommended.

In this addition to the Moonshire Bay books, we learn what brought Lucy to town. Lucy meets Brandt/Brant at her yoga studio, but he’s also the mayor of Moonshire Bay. He’s asked her out many times, but she’s always declined. When she learns they both want the same property, they come up with a solution. When he betrays her, will this be the end to a Lucy’s time in town or will things work out? No spoilers, so grab your copy and see what happens. I loved catching up with the other ladies we’ve already read about in the previous books.

This is another sweet, fun book in the Moonshire Bay series. You can read and enjoy this book without having read any of the other books in the series.
I enjoy these books because the characters seem real and they are wonderful people. Moonshire Bay is a wonderful resort community that is welcoming and loving. Reading these books allows you to enter this community and to meet loving and normal, real to life people who have worries, pasts, and problems, but who are open to friendships and love. And they make mistakes.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys clean, realistic romance books
I liked Lucy a lot, especially the way that she tried not to hurt anyone’s feelings. I like how she
made her own way when things got bad. I liked how Brandt would ask Lucy to join him for drinks and how he tried to make her happy. I cringed when things got really complicated and they couldn’t stay on the same page, but I really loved it when it all got cleared up. The only thing I didn’t like in the story was how abruptly it ended. I would rather they had more story to the ending.
