When all the cards are stacked against you… cashing in my v-card to my counterfeit groom.
Once the assignment is over, so is the marriage. Reality returns with a vengeance along with one major real-life consequence. Since our whole relationship was built on a lie, sharing my news with my fake hubby isn’t on the top of my to-do list.
But now Quinn is back with some news of his own. He’s ready to turn make-believe into a real-life fairytale, but I’m afraid this time the stakes are too high. I could lose my heart if I go all in. Can I work up the guts to take a once in a lifetime chance on us?
Author’s Note: Holy hot streak, I’m on a roll with these sexy, over the top Vegas romances! Quinn and Jade are the last Sullivan couple to find their happily ever after but not without a few rolls of the dice along the way. Grab your favorite beverage, some fuzzy dice and get ready for a big Vegas style love!

Quinn and Jade are the last “Sullivan couple” in Lark Avery’s Lucky series of Vegas love stories, and this third book, Lucky Pick Up, is a truly fun romance. As with the other two stories this one has it’s leads meet up in an unlikely way, but the spark is definitely there and this author is a pro at lighting it up. A totally enjoyable book, my only regret is that it’s the last in the series. Frankly, but for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed, I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.
Excellent contemporary romance with some suspense. This was a unique short story. Quinn secretly works for the FBI and was partnered with Jade who was a card shark. They had chemistry but they were only on assignment for a short time when Quinn went home. I love the character development as well as the story line. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Avery.

Lucky Pick Up by Lark Avery
Jade Davis is a twenty-one-year-old bank teller that is also able to count cards in her spare time for extra cash. She learned how while she bounced around foster homes in Las Vegas Nevada.
Quinn Sullivan became an FBI agent after his tour in the military unbeknownst to his family. He has used his seat on the board of directors of his family’s company as part of his cover to his family and friends in Boston.
Five months ago, Quinn had an assignment with Jade to play a newlywedded couple for a case. He needed her expertise so to speak for the assignment he was working on. The rolls were easy to play considering they literally burned up any room they were in together. Once the case was over, he boarded a plane and went home leaving Jade to pick up the pieces and get on with her life. Now Quinn is back in town after finding out a misinformation from the case. He is worried what she will do, and he hopes that he can pick up where they left off. Jade has some misinformation of her own to share but will it make him run for the hills or settle down with her?
I have to say that Quinn gave his older brother Braden a run for his money with the sexy alpha sex on a stick make me want to limb you like a tree talk. I think I would literally combust if I ever met these two. Where was I? Quinn is a dominate in and out of the bedroom but he maybe the only one that can make the sassy mouth Jade do what he wants in the bedroom. She gives him a run for his money, but he loves it!
An excellent story. I wasn’t sure how the FBI thing was going to fit into what I already knew about the Sullivans but it did. Jade was terrific so snarky and head strong.
This is a series of stand alone stories about the Sullivan brothers and their acceptance of finding ‘The One’.
This is the final Sullivan brothers book.
Quinn is a FBI agent but in secret his family doesn’t know. Jade is a sassy yet beautiful woman that har the pleasure of pretending to be Quinns wife on an FBI investigation. They were the couple to beat in the Sullivan’s family bit it was business as usual when the case was over and Quinn flew home to sit on the board of the family company and Jafe was left to pick up the peices of her free life and broken dreams of a future with Quinn. A few months later they ate face to face again but now the stakes are high. They ate both hiding secrets and both ate wondering if the other will flee in the start direction or can they possibly make this a forever deal thos time.
OMG! Quinn is the kind of man that makes your body melt. He left Stella five months ago. Now he is back and he wants her. All I can say is, wow! All Quinn has to do is talk and Stella is putty in his hands. So deliciously romantic with a searing passion. Absolutely yummy. Quinn protects what’s his, and Stella is his. That gives you goosebumps all over. Delightfully delicious.
This is last book in the Sullivan Brothers Series and what an amazing ending for the series. I absolutely loved this read and I’m thinking Quinn and Jades story is my favorite! This is definitely a must read. You will definitely live this series. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This is another hot Sin City romance with great characters, romance and intrigue. She is an ex con living in Vegas and is approached to be a fake bride for a Special Agent who is a hunky alpha. On the fake honeymoon she loses her V card. When the gig is up, things return to normal, not. When he asks her to make it real, did she take the chance and lose her heart? I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy.
Even though Quinn is the youngest, he seems like the oldest most mature Sullivan brother. I enjoyed his dynamic with Jade and I think the bank vault scene is one of the hottest things I’ve ever read. I probably like this one the best of the trilogy. Lark tried to make this one a little deeper with some danger and she was a bit more bold with her D/s element.. definitely going in the right direction.
I got this book as an ARC reader for my honest review. This book was really really Good. I Love it. This was an Good Quick read. It was funny, romantic, it was well written and some twist and turn. The ending was Good, also.

I am in love with this book!!!!! I was turning pages so fast!!!!! Lark Avery, you killed it!!!! Five sexy stars!!!!!!
A wonderful romance! A entertaining plot serves as an engaging backdrop for these lovable and very charismatic characters. Quinn and Jade made a perfect pair. Quinn was a strong alpha male and Jade was more than sassy enough to go toe-to-toe with him every step of the way. Drama, hot chemistry, intense emotions, a surprise or two along the way and scorching scenes combine to capture and hold your interest. This is the last of the Sullivan Brothers books and for those of us that have read them all it provides an extremely welcome wrap-up look at the previous couples. An excellent book in a great series. I recommend you read them all!
A lovely short story, loving these brothers so far!
I received a complementary copy of this novella in exchange for an honest review and I’m left with one word… WOW! What a fun read to wrap up a great short series. This books are steamy and fun to read. Plus, they are short enough that you could sit down and read all three in a long cozy afternoon or weekend at the beach!
This is a great addition to your book collection!
Happy Reading…enjoy!
