Meghan March has this power to completely lead a reader one way. Then BAM! what you think you know isn’t always as it seems. This book is the latest from Jericho and India, it certainly doesn’t disappoint. It’s well-paced, jaw-dropping and easy to get lost in.
This book has everything but you need. I can’t wait to see what the last book in store for us. Buckle up, it’s going to be bumpy.
Love sneaks up on you when you least expect it and that’s the case for Jericho and India. This book is sooo good. This is the second book in the Forge trilogy and I can’t wait for the final book so come on Meghan we are soooo ready!!!
Book 2 of The Forge Trilogy, Luck of the Devil, is once again, a classic Meghan March book. Strong alpha male and sassy sexy female with a complicated relationship that has witty intelligent banter, lots of intrigue and smoking hot sex.
Jericho and Indie’s intricate relationship is again put to the test by each other and outside forces. Each determined to get what they want, their back and forth gives you a tantalizing story.
The cliffhanger ending leaves you wanting more than just answers, it leaves you wanting an HEA for them.
What a fantastic book!!! Jericho and Indy’s love/hate relationship picks up exactly where book 1 ends. Their story is intense, volatile, dangerous, and sexy AF. We learn more about each character’s backstory as well as trying to figure out what parties are involved and who exactly they are after. I might like this book more than Deal with the Devil.
I’m excited to see how their story concludes… March can’t come fast enough!!
I’m high on adrenaline and rushing emotions after finishing Luck of the Devil! Meghan March surprised me in so many ways. She increased the intensity between India and Jericho—the thrilling relationship and growing affection doesn’t wane, it escalates into something profound and heartwarming. Using a perfect combination of suspense, eroticism and fiery passion, Luck of the Devil will grab your attention, leaving you guessing and gasping at every unexpected twist, and swooning over this couple’s wonderfully heated connection.
“I might not be a good guy, but I’m not the fucking devil you want me to be either.”
While reading Meghan March, I’m quickly learning it isn’t worth guessing what’ll happen, but always expect the unexpected. It’s satisfying having your theories proven right, but the rush of excitement that comes barrelling towards you when you are wrong is intoxicating. Exhilarating. And makes the reading experience significantly more enjoyable!
“You’re not a means to an end anymore. You’re inside me. In my head. In the blood running through my fucking veins. If you go, you take all that with you, along with my fucking sanity.”
I never thought it would be possible to fall more in love with Jericho Forge, the enigmatic, unapologetically ruthless businessman that leaves every other anti-hero a whimpering mess. He is complex and multi-faceted, a character that we’ve seen merciless and possessive, but now have the pleasure of seeing uncharacteristically sweet. Newfound tender moments and earnest desire emerges from this surprising man, leaving you swooning and overwhelmed as he borrows himself deeper into your heart.
Despite his impressive nature and magnetism, Jericho doesn’t overshadow India. She’s just as sassy and fierce, but beneath the boldness is someone vulnerable. India is desperate to have independence, though her caring heart is warring with her head as it wants the devil. It only makes this heroine admirable. And very, very real.
“Where you go, I go. Even if it’s overboard.”
Luck of the Devil casts a different atmosphere, but that doesn’t make it less thrilling or exciting than Deal with the Devil. Meghan March exceeded my expectations by writing a sequel better than anticipated. It left me awed and desperate for the next installment. Prepare yourself—your wits and your emotions—because she doesn’t hold back!
5 stars for – Luck of the Devil – book two in the Forge Trilogy. This book picks up right where book one left off so be sure to have read – Deal With The Devil – first and hang on for another incredible read! Jericho and Indy are stumbling a bit since neither has ever had a relationship to speak of let alone a marriage so while their sexual chemistry is off the charts all the other aspects of marriage seem to be harder to navigate. Ms. March had me transfixed from start to finish and now I can’t wait for the conclusion in book three.
Indy has had to overcome so many things in her relatively young life so automatically trusting people doesn’t come easy for her. Hearing different things about her new husband causes her to doubt what he tells her and if his motives are true but she will do what she has to do for her family all the while hoping her heart doesn’t get trampled in the process.
Jericho wasn’t supposed to develop feelings for his wife. The marriage was supposed to be part of a deal where they both gained something in the end. Now that the stakes have changed Forge is ready to change all his rules for her.
Meghan takes us on another sexy ride through the Mediterranean with action, adventure and intrigue around every corner. Long time fans of her work will recognize a few familiar names and faces that make cameos in this book too. Trust me when I say this is one trilogy you won’t want to miss and one of my most favorite of hers to date!
Luck of the Devil leaves me with a delicious book hangover and I cannot wait for the final book.
Meghan lured me in Jericho and Indy’s story with Deal with the Devil and has kept me hooked with this story. I struggled with writing my review for two reasons. One, it will not do their story justice and two I do not want to reveal anything. Luck of the Devil keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more with every page you turn!! This series is a MUST read!
Luck of the Devil picks up right where we left off from Deal with the Devil. We peeled back layers of Jericho and Indy. I cannot help but fall deeper in love with Jericho. We got some answers to the burning questions from the first installment while more secrets and mysteries were revealed. I loved all the twists and turns that had me guessing what is going to happen next and who I should trust. The budding romance between Jericho and Indy was getting more intense and passionate. I cannot help but fall deeper in love with Jericho with his attentiveness and protectiveness. With the jaw-dropping cliff-hanger, I cannot wait for the final installment of the Forge Trilogy.
I received an advance reviewer copy of the book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Again, another stellar dark romance from the devious mind of Meghan March! Coerced into a marriage in order to save her sister, India Forge now has to determine if she can trust her new husband. As ruthless and callous as he is in his business, he’s just as tempting in the bedroom. Indy quickly learns the power she has over this man when it comes to their sex life. Not only does Jericho pray at her feet, he worships he body. Now if she could only get him to respect her half as much as he wants to sleep with her. Because his latest secret will alter her life in ways she never imagined. And she soon has to decide how much she’s willing to forgive in order to win the man.
Jericho Forge is not a man who secedes easily. But one un-requested kiss from his new wife is almost enough to bring him to his knees. With the truth behind their marriage revealed, Jericho and Indy shift the balance of their power in and out of the bedroom. Indy may act sweet and sultry one night and the next, hate Jericho’s guts for lying to her. It s a true fight for power between these two and every moment is rife with tension. Will their marriage last? Can Indy forgive him for tricking her into marrying him? Can Jericho admit where his truest heart lies? All questions answered in the second book.
I must admit that Jericho’s bossy ways won me over in the first book. His way of twisting fate to his liking was magnetic. I fell right along with Indy for his lines every time. But now that Indy is beginning to read him like any of the players she observes at the table, his sweeter side definitely shows. And with Indy finding out more and more behind Jericho’s motives, he has a huge decision to make. Lay all his cards on the table or fold and let her win. “Actions speak louder than words” he says; and he decides to show her how he feels about her in order not to lose her. And as the stakes rise higher and higher, readers will fall off one hell of a cliff hanger wondering if these two will survive their HEA.
Holy mother of dragons!
This book was an endless rollercoaster with unexpected twists and turns. The drama, the turmoil, it all makes sense to the story!
Exciting, thrilling and full of drama, this is book 2 of the Forge Trilogy, and cannot be read as a standalone.
Luck of the Devil starts right where Deal with the Devil ends and from page one the unexpected twists and turns just keep coming.
Jericho and Izzy’s emotionally charged journey continues to develop and evolve. New developments have created new circumstances that have made them questioning themselves and others.
In this installment their chemistry was smoldering, and their banter was edgier and full of more sexual tension as they begin to make certain discoveries they never expected.
New developments make Jericho and India realize that things happen for a reason… but what’s the end result?
The intensity and the whodunnit aspect of this story had me glued to the pages to discover how their journey unfolded. Things are not what they appear and they begin wonder who’s who and what’s the end game.
Some secrets are revealed but more are presented.
Fast paced, intense and full of surprises the appearance from characters from other series was a fun element to this installment.
That ending… was jaw dropping…
what…the… frack??
I need answers…
4.5 stars!
That’s how Meghan is going to leave me hanging?!?!
Just when you think you know what Meghan has planned for a book or character, she does the complete opposite. There is something to be said about an author than can do this repeatedly! Luck of the Devil is just as high octane and addicting as Deal with the Devil.
I love these characters more and more. Their complexities are enticing and their chemistry becomes more and more palpable with each book.
One of my absolute favorite things about a Meghan March book is her ability to write strong, capable women. She is fierce with her leading ladies; they don’t sit idly by waiting in the wings. They take charge and are unapologetic for their fierce love and loyalty. I always look forward to seeing what new kick-a$$ female she is introducing the world too.
Luck of the Devil did NOT disappoint at all! I love that I can never pinpoint what her plan is for her characters…it makes her books all the more thrilling! I feel like an addict waiting for my next fix with Heart of the Devil!!
There was a buzz when the first installment came out that Forge had dethroned Lachlan Mount (Ruthless King) and I literally and figuratively shook my head in defiance. I mean, Meghan knows how to alpha but there’s no way.
I was wrong and I admit it. Mount is in his own league for sure but Jericho has FORGED his way into my heart, get it? See what I did there? 😉 Meghan has a way of weaving the story, any story to make you kinda hate them but not really. She knows how to alpha, hero the shit out of people and ANTI-HERO too. As you can see I’m a glass case of emotion over here and I can’t WAIT for the last installment. Don’t get me started on India, not that I didn’t want to love her, I knew I would. I just didn’t think she’d grow on me THIS quickly either. She’s a force in the best way possible.
She’s got me turning pages well past my bedtime and it’s been worth every cup of coffee and every yawn. 😉
The Kraken strikes again! 5 stars for Meghan March & Luck Of The Devil! This book exceeded my expectations & topped Deal With The Devil in every way. I can not wait to see what Heart Of The Devil has in store for a finale. Check out my full review here: https://sincityromancereads.blogspot.com/2019/02/luck-of-devil-by-meghan-march.html
If you thought DEAL WITH THE DEVIL book on this series was good, just wait until you read LUCK OF THE DEVIL. This time around Meghan March plays with the tension and the suspense while the story between Jericho transforms. And, God, I love her for that. What started as a deal, as a mere transaction for the lead characters, suddenly started to feel like more. Like something nor Jericho or India were ready for. It started to feel real.
With secrets and danger surround them, Jericho and India are fighting against their enemies, known and unknown. Every time a layer of mystery falls, we find a new one, making the reading experience something utterly addictive. But our characters aren’t just fighting bad guys… they are also fighting against their own feelings, because admitting they’re in love, in certain way, feels like admitting defeat. And neither of them want to lose.
I loved the first installment, but I devoured this one in the blink of an eye. Page after page the tension grew up, so did my expectations. The development of the characters and the plot was masterful. And the ending… dear God! That was EPIC!! I need more! ASAP!
The third installment in the series has a really big shoes to fill now.
Meghan March upped the ante in Luck of the Devil! India and Jericho Forge, two very head strong individuals, are in deeper than they both ever imagined, both professionally and personally. Jericho Forge is a force to be reckoned with and he’s quickly learning that so is his wife, India. Luck of the Devil brings out all the emotions and feelings, resentment, pure sexiness, distrust and questions everything you thought you knew..and I devoured every single minute of it. Once again, MM left us with a cliffhanger to die for! I thoroughly enjoyed every single moment of this book and while I look forward to finding out what happens to Jericho and India, I’ll be sad to see it end!
Need more than 5 stars!!!! Luck of the Devil was incredible!!! It has passion, drama, love, secrets, and edge of your seat excitement!!! The story was so back & forth you have to keep reading to find out what’s going to happen. Every time I said to myself, “just 1 more chapter”, it turned into 5. I could not put it down. Forge is so unexpected, and Indy puts up with nothing and I freaking love it!!! She is strong and sassy, and not at all afraid to go after what she wants or needs!!! Part 2 was amazing and leaves me dying for part 3!!!!
What a great series by Ms March! The chemistry… the suspense… the storyline… all consumes your every thought… and it doesn’t end after you get done reading the book. Forge is one of many alpha men Ms March has created that you dream about even after the book has ended! ONE MORE BOOK…
MORE JERICHO AND INDIE!
I’ve been dying to get my hands on more of this couple. And, just as I’d hoped after book one, we finally start breaking down the walls around Jericho and see the true man underneath. He’s still the take-charge alpha that we love (he could never turn off that part of his personality), but he’s also capable of being more gentle than you’d expect.
We get to see another side of Indie too. It’s nice to watch her let her guard down a bit and lean on Jericho more. Don’t worry though, she hasn’t given up any of her fierce independence and she still continues to challenge Jericho.
This couple is explosive. You never know what’s going to happen when you put these two together. Whether they’re arguing with each other or making up in the steamiest of ways, these two put their all into it. More secrets and mystery come to light in this installment and it will keep you guessing until the last page. Cliffhanger haters: this is part TWO of the story. There’s still plenty more to go when it comes to Jericho and Indie.
Seriously, if you haven’t jumped into this series yet, you don’t know what you’re missing.
And it’s been done again… book two was amazing! Luck of the Devil has brought together all the puzzle pieces from book one and slowly started solidifying them. this book also brought so much more of Indy’s and Jericho’s relationship. There was some fabulous steam as they are trying to figure out who they are together. There are still so many elements of not knowing who to trust and who/what I can believe I am hooked on this book with no turning back. And in complete Meghan style I am left hanging at the ending shaking my head, wondering what minefield she has laid the foundation to.
When you decide to read this make sure your whole day/night is open as you will not be putting this one down.
NO SPOILERS!
Luck of the Devil was another smash hit in Meghan March’s sexy, intriguing, and addictive Forge Trilogy, and I loved it even more than Deal with the Devil!
Meghan March blew my mind with the intricate and mysterious plot, and I fell even more in love with Forge, India, and their amazing and unforgettable story. I was once again addicted from beginning to end, and loved the twists and turns March threw at me. I don’t want to jinx anything, but Forge has been my favorite March hero to date. He and India completely stole my heart in Luck of the Devil, and I’m dying to know how their story ends in Heart of the Devil.
Everything Meghan March has written so far has been romantic suspense gold, and Luck of the Devil was no exception! I was hooked to the sexy, mysterious, and engaging second installment in the Forge Trilogy, and loved every single moment of the ride. The Forge Trilogy has quickly become a top favorite from Meghan March, and I can’t wait to devour the finale to Forge and India’s story in Heart of the Devil!
