OMG my inner fangirl is SQUEALING!!! Luck of the Devil is blowing my mind. I didn’t think Jericho and Indy could get hotter than Book 1; I’m amazed the twists and turns that make this book EVEN BETTER!
The suspense and romance are killing me! Luck of the Devil picks up exactly where we left of from Deal with The Devil and drops bomb and bomb with every twist and turn. The intrigue has me gripped to every page. I need book 3 ASAP because that ending is….cracker jacks!!!
There’s so much character development in this book, I’m loving it. It really takes the middle book to a new level. I find most middle books in a trilogy to be a bridge to the last, Meghan March had me picking my jaw off the floor multiple times. This fast pasted, hot as sin, suspenseful story gave me a rush like no other. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN… I NEED TO KNOW. GAHHHH! Jericho Forge is everything!!!
Holy bleep da bleep bleep! What an ending! I do love trilogies but they have to the most painstakingly cruel endings with the cliffy’s! I would give this story and 4.5 stars and highly recommend to others. You have to read Deal With The Devil first and this is not a stand-alone. Woah Megahan you really have an grand and glorious imagination and I can’t wait to see how this all plays out!
As the secrets, lies, deals and deceit unfold this story will make your head spin! Will India and Forge finally find a common ground… or will it all com-bust into a huge burning flame neither was expecting?
This review is short but I don’t want to give anything away… there is a lot to take in with this second installment so get ready to sit for a couple hours as you can’t stop yourself from devouring every page and prepare yourself for the BOOM! Get to one clicking now! Heart Of The Devil is up next and boy oh boy I can’t wait to see what Meghan has in-store for us!
I’ve been waiting for what feels like FOREVER for Luck of the Devil. I’m completely consumed by Jericho Forge and India Baptiste. This latest installment has me a little crazy….in the best way.
India and Jericho have HUGE hurtles to overcome in their relationship. Secrets, lies and betrayals follow them everywhere. Can they overcome when if feels like everyone is plotting against them? Can they truly be happy and live their best life together when death and deception are everywhere?
Meghan March books are completely addictive, sinfully alluring and absolutely unputdownable. Hurry up March because I need Heart of the Devil now!!!
I received a free copy of this book from the author.
This is the second book in the Forge Trilogy. If you haven’t read the first book – don’t read this review. 🙂
We were left on a mini-cliffhanger with the first book and so now we open with Forge coming to collect what’s his – his wife. I had to giggle at the bad guy thinking he could get away with kidnapping Indie. I mean seriously, who’s going to let that fool keep their wife? No one with a good head on their shoulders that for sure.
With Bastian’s interference and the news of Indie’s father – she’s questioning what she knows about her husband. We know it’s not much because of course that alpha male doesn’t do much talking but a lot of grunt demands when it comes to his wife.
I like how the author, Meghan March, incorporates the alpha grunt with her characters as well as an engaging story to keep you reading until the end. Of course she has the habit of keeping you hanging for a few books but that’s the fun part, right? I’m always glutton for a good cliffhanger.
I’m looking forward to the final book in the trilogy. Hopefully Bastian will get what’s coming to him – and all his cronies. They’re popping up all over the place. What goes around, comes around!
Don’t covet your frienemy’s wife!
Boy oh Boy, I will say thing again…. Meghan is the QUEEN of cliffhangers. This book deserves way more than just 5 stars!!!
I loved Deal with the Devil so much, but Luck of the Devil? This book was just filled with perfection. The book starts off right from where Deal with the Devil finished, now if you haven’t read deal with the devil yet then STOP RIGHT HERE and GO READ DEAL WITH THE DEVIL!!! Luck of the Devil CANNOT be read before book 1.
India is someone who I love so much, in this book we get to see and feel her feelings, we get to see a side of her that makes us understand her so much more. We see how much she loves her family, how she is now starting to feel things for someone who has taken her breathe away. Jericho Forge, oh gawd I don’t even know where to start with him. In this book we get to see a side of him I wasn’t expecting, under his hard mind, we get to know this guy who has to be a certain way to get what he wants, we get to see someone who is not used to feeling things, and we get to see someone who is starting to realize that love is.
Luck of the Devil gave me all the feels, this series just keeps getting better and better. Meghan has become one of my top 3 favorite authors, she has this way of making the readers feel the suspense, feel what her characters are feeling, she makes the readers what MORE. Love Meghan and this series so much. I’m so ready for the final book of this series, but also I’m not…. I don’t want to say goodbye to Forge just yet!!!
What is Bastien thinking! He has now kidnapped Indy. He wants to keep her away from Forge, but she can tell something is definitely up. She cannot trust Bastien at all. But Forge is not a man to be deterred. He is off to find her and keep her safe by his side.
One big poker game coming up. The undercurrent is strong and evil mischief is its name. Forge has done everything within his power to win Indy back. He is willing to change his demeanor and treat Indy like a jewel if that means she will stay with him. Little do they know the danger they are in. Can you win the game but lose the match?
Stay tuned for more, when the last installment publishes soon.
Definitely recommended to spike your blood with this intense, action-packed story!
I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the author for sharing a copy with me.
What the actual… is going on!?! I have absolutely no clue, only one suspicion, which I assume will be wrong because I never figure out this tangled, twisty, turning, mind hump Meghan always sends us on. Lol
This second piece of the Forge trilogy was more mind blowing than the first. I absolutely wasn’t expecting that ending. I’m still girl crushing hard on Indy. (Can I kidnap her and keep her in my closet? No? That’s too weird? Ok)
Looking so forward to the final piece of the puzzle, Heart of the Devil. It can’t get on my device fast enough.
OMG, I need a respirator ASAP! I will get a heart attack soon… Meghan was having fun with my emotions. AGAIN. In this part the feelings between India and Jericho evolve. We get to know the secrets that can change everything. We also see our heroes from a completely different angle. The only unwavering thing in this story is the incredible chemistry that unites these two. It’s so hot that reading becomes problematic when you have to use both hands to constantly fan yourself…
India is my hero. She is adamant, sassy and although her feelings for Jericho have grown, it doesn’t cloud her judgment. She’s a real woman ‘with the balls’.
In this part my love for Jericho has reached an even higher level. Where in the first book we met him as a ruthless and fierce man, in Luck of the Devil we see his softer side. I simply swooned at his attempts to understand his own feelings. The guy was adorably clueless!
Cherry on top? Cameo of the characters from another Meghan book. I love such blast from the past!
And now the time has come to stare at the wall. The end of this part made me want to scream and rip my hair out of my head. Mrs. March always leaves me in suspension when I have to wait patiently for the next book in the series. But the journey is so damn good that I would wait a year to get to know the rest of this story!
4.5 stars!
*sigh* I want to be loved by Jericho Forge!!
Meghan March is completely wowing me with this trilogy. The second book of this incredible series is all the suspenseful sexiness that I love about Meghan March’s writing. Picking up where Deal With The Devil left off, Luck of the Devil continues Forge and India’s thrilling story filled with secrets, lust, intrigue and love. With the added gift of cameos from some of Meghan’s other beloved characters, this book was everything I could ask for. I could not get enough!
I didn’t think it was possible but I am even more obsessed over this couple than I was before. Forge especially has taken a piece of my heart. We get more of his backstory in this book. Which in turn caused me to be absolutely gone for him. I love when we get to see a different, almost softer, side of a character like Forge – who is so alpha it’s hard to believe he could care as deeply as he does for Indy. Gah! I love him so much.
India is not one to be overlooked. She really holds her own in this book. I admire her strength and her backbone. If I didn’t already have a girl crush then I would have developed one after reading Luck of the Devil.
Of course, once again, the queen of the cliffhangers just destroyed my being with an epic ending I didn’t see coming. It feels like my heart was fell out of my chest with that ending. I’m dying to find out how this story ends. I’m impatiently counting down the days.
Oh! Side note. I don’t know what it is about a high stakes poker game that I find so incredibly sexy. Meghan March captures the drama and suspense of each hand with perfection.
Luck of the Devil is book two in the Forge Trilogy. It was amazing. I was sucked in from the beginning and didn’t want it to end. This book definitely made me love Forge even more. Forge and India were perfect together. I am dying to read Heart of the Devil!
Yesterday, I was dreaming about playing poker game on the huge yacht with Jerycho Forge. Yesss, that was such a good dream. Too bad that everything ended when my stupid alarm clock woke me up.
I’m telling you girls, this story will imprint itself into your mind. It will hunt your dreams and you will crave more of Jerycho and India.
After huge cliffhanger in the part one, Deal With The Devil, I was literally dying to read Luck Of The Devil. So many secrets and unknown was hanging unanswered. I couldn’t have been more wrong if I thought that Meghan will ease up her pace in this one. I wanted to read it with one gulp but at the same time I wanted to stay longer in main characters world.
I adore them for their confident and amusing attitude. I really enjoyed when they were bantering with each other. Their unique chemistry was pouring from the written words.
India was still challenging Jerycho in every way possible. I love how sassy and confident she acted.
“We’re not done”…..
“Yes, we are. You lied to me. Played me. Tricked me. Whatever the hell you want to call it, I’m done. Out. Finished. Go ……… and play your games with someone else”
I’ve had a real emotional rollercoaster with Jerycho character. In the beginning of the second part I started to hate him for his manipulations, but then with every page turn I was falling hard for him once again.
I love Meghan March’s style of writing and her word creation. I was laughing out loud about Kraken! But you need to read the story to find out what was it all about.
You will be pleasant surprised in Luck of the Devil if you have read her previous books as well.
Waiting impatiently for conclusion of this story in book #3 Heart of the Devil.

Well, first off, I was mostly right. And, well, that is always fun. (If this makes no sense, refer to my review of the 1st book in this trilogy.)
That said…I was right enough that this story did move in pretty much the direction I saw coming. But, that is not a criticism. Meghan March has put together the kind of story where you get to know the characters, their good, their bad, their strengths, their flaws and their weaknesses. Once you get to know a character this well, you are not only invested, but the things they do start to feel in character and you are able to believe their actions.
This is exactly where I found myself at the start of this, and as I read it I both knew what I thought was going to happen but was also surprised by the events and engaged in the story.
So, really, this was pretty much the perfect story and the perfect ride.
Until the cliffhanger.
What the heck?!?!? Seriously??? WHY DOES MEGHAN MARCH MAKE ME SUFFER LIKE THIS?? (And, why do I enjoy it so much? Although, that feels like a conversation for a different review.)
And, since no spoilers will live in this review, I am going to tell you that you will love it, that it’s exactly what you want to have happen, and that you will be yelling at your Kindle while hoping if you keep pressing the forward button, you will get the next part of the story.
I enjoyed this title, and I recommend it.
What is it about Meghan March and her Hot Heroes? These guys are dangerous, passionate, and edgy, and yet when they love, they love with everything they have.
When we last left Jericho and India, she was getting spirited away by a man with whom Jericho forbade her to have anything to do. Of course, you worry: will Jericho feel betrayed?
Meghan March picks up right as the first book in this trilogy, Deal with the Devil, ends, so you know pretty quickly how things turned out. From there, March whisks you through the plot points she continues to develop: who is India’s father? How will she react when she finds out? What does this mean for her relationship with Jericho? What sort of relationship does she want with him and he with her?
The sexy times burn right through the page. You don’t have a hero such as Jericho Forge and not make him delicious and delectable. Strap on your vibrators, girls, because Jericho will have you reaching for it repeatedly.
The cliffhanger leaves you gasping. I cannot wait to see how Meghan March resolves her plots, and I cannot wait to spend more time with Jericho and Indy. They might just be my favorite Meghan March couple yet.
I am convinced that Meghan March likes to torture us. That’s the only thing my muddled brain can come up with while my jaw is hanging open after screaming at the end of this book. Indy & Jericho’s story continues in this mind-blowing-constantly-guessing-amazing story Meghan’s brilliant mind cooked up for us. There are a lot of ups & downs & wtf moments. There are some totally b***hing moments that you are going to love (hint hint). And, of course, there’s Jericho. And Indy. Need I say more? Oh yes, one more thing…be prepared and then TRY to be patient and find out how it all ends. GAHHH, I can’t freakin wait!!!
Are you ready to step inside the world of Jericho Forge? It’s a glimpse inside the underbelly of society, and will leave you desperate to uncover the thin line between danger and desperation. Jericho is a complicated man that knows no mercy where his adversaries are concerned.
With the arrangement that Indy has made with Jericho, a new path has been forged. A path that is shrouded in secrets and deception. The truth that revolves around the circumstances of an arranged marriage are only a smoke screen to a bigger mystery. Jericho knows that time isn’t necessarily on his side, but he can only hope that to make the most of the time he is given with Indy by his side. With deals and diversions swirling around the couple, the possibility of danger only grows with each passing day.
Two deliciously wicked and sensual characters grace the pages of Luck of the Devil. Each one ripe with the promise of possibilities and uncertainty. Indy demands to keep her independence while playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse, all while enjoying the ‘spoils’ of her recent marriage. So many players are making their roles known in regards to the mystery surrounding Indy’s father. With each revelation a new question will form, leading the lovers on a trail of intrigue and indecision.
While I have danced around the plotline, my intent is to make sure I don’t give anything away in regards to the journey that Jericho and Indy are partaking upon. Expect an interesting bombshell that will leave you with more questions than answers, but isn’t that what you would expect from a man like Jericho Forge?
I find it rather amusing—yet overly satisfying—when I’m reading a book, expecting things to go one way and then have it completely go the other way on me. It dashes my hope some, but there’s also such a huge rush when your theories are proven wrong. When you’re told that something else can happen is clearly and entirely possible too.
“I might not be a good guy, but I’m not the fucking devil you want me to be either.”
That’s exactly how I felt after reading the last page of Luck of the Devil. I was absolutely shocked stupid, with my jaw hanging wide open and my heart lost somewhere in my stomach when it dropped with a heavy thud. I still didn’t see that ending coming. But then again, this is Meghan March we’re talking about. Nothing’s truly impossible when it comes to her, and she reminded me of that fact when those last few chapters came barreling down on me.
“Where you go, I go. Even if it’s overboard.”
Luck of the Devil may be a tad mellower—in my opinion—compared to the first book in the trilogy, but it was still immensely thrilling, sexy as hell, and blood-pumping all the same. The build up from that very first page was so intense, you’ll be left holding your breath the entire time, clutching and white-knuckling the sheets—or whatever the hell you can get your grip on, really. Your mind just won’t stop reeling from everything going on.
“They always say you don’t realize the value of what you have until you lose it, and before India Baptiste, I would have sworn I wasn’t the kind of man who could be accused of that. But I am. I’m not infallible. I’m as fucking human as it gets.”
And that’s not all—this is the book where you’ll find yourself falling harder and fiercer in love with Jericho Forge. He’ll certainly surprise you and have you swooning at every turn. Trust me, the man’s gotten under my skin since Deal with the Devil. But after this one, he’s quite burrowed himself even deeper in every corner, and in every nook and cranny of my being. All I can say is… Indy, you lucky bitch!
“Because you’re not a means to an end anymore. You’re inside me. In my head. In the blood running through my fucking veins. If you go, you take all that with you, along with my fucking sanity.”
Just be prepared and hold on to your wits. Keep in mind that this is Meghan March you’re reading and she won’t hold back on you with the twists and turns no matter what. Fall hard, but expect the unexpected, and (hopefully) you’ll be fine.
MEGHAN MARCH IS ON A ROLL! LUCK OF THE DEVIL IS SO MUCH HOTTER AND MORE INTENSE THAN YOU COULD IMAGINE! After reading this, readers will be calling out Jericho Forge in a non-stop chant as they wait for the finale, Heart of The Devil!
Luck Of The Devil is bold beyond mere words. Both dark and demanding and strangely fun and edgy, this book was like a live wire that crackled with energy….IT HAS ME OBSESSED! I feel like I am floating on the most decadent and dirty of clouds. I have NEVER gotten this kind of high before from a trilogy, but the Forge trilogy seems to be giving me many new feelings and sensations when it comes to a great read. Even without reading Heart Of The Devil I can already say with certainty, that the Forge Trilogy is the most EXHILARATING and INTOXICATING trilogy of 2019! It beat out The Mount Trilogy and I couldn’t be more ecstatic about that because I have been HOOKED on that trilogy since its release. This is the ULTIMATE PAGE-TURNER people! Its unbelievable how excited I am for readers to get their hands on this book. Jericho Forge will BLOW ALL OTHER HEROES AWAY, whether they be anti-hero or not! This is one pirate that will have you wishing he was real and that he would just plunder you and claim you as he does to Indy. What a heart-pumping story. And the cliffhanger..it will SHRED EVERY OTHER CLIFFHANGER TO RIBBONS…WHAT. A. RIDE.
Luck Of The Devil gets a DELIRIOUSLY ENTERTAINING FIVE SHOOTING STARS!
Luck of the Devil is here and I have been impatiently waiting for it. Deal with the Devil really sets the rest of this series up, it left me hungry for more. And we get it all and so much more!
Right from the very beginning, we’re quickly thrown back into the swing of things. I’m pretty new to Meghan March’s books, but I know she loves her cliffhangers. SO I was left wondering what she was going to take us through in this one. One thing that I can’t say enough is that I 100% love Jericho Forge, I already had a little hunch in book 1 that I was going to, but he definitely solidifies it in book 2.
I loved watching Indy and Jericho grow individually and together, it’s seriously a beautiful sight and I couldn’t get enough of it. Jericho really surprised me because he’s definitely giving other book boyfriends a run for their money. We see more of a side that he definitely wouldn’t show publicly, but it’s all because of Indy. But don’t you worry, he’s still ruthless as ever and not one you want on your bad side. Their little marriage of inconvenience is blurring the lines into something real and neither one of them knows what to do about it or handle it.
Indy is still independent as ever and can definitely hold her own. I love her ferocity when it comes to Jericho. She is constantly challenging the man and I loved every minute of it. It had me grinning from ear to ear.
My goodness, I loved this book so much, I just can’t get enough of it! I love the sexy allure that Forge brings to the story and he’s just perfectly matched with Indy, that’s undeniable. There’s all these secrets, twists and turns, I just had so many questions. And it was a constant game of who is behind it all?! I need to know!
I have my theories for the final book and I can’t wait to find out, thankfully Meghan’s not torturing us and making us wait forever. So much love for Indy and Forge … and the beautiful mastermind behind it, Meghan March!
**I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED FOR AN READER’S COPY, VIEWS ARE HONEST AND MY OWN**
Meghan March
Meghan March is exceeding all my expectations with each of her books. I thought Deal with the Devil was exceptional. And then she went and wrote an even better story. Luck of the Devil has everything trademark of Meghan March. A stunning plot with surprising ending. An alpha man with delicious hotness and bossyness. An even stronger woman who defies him and destroyed the tough exterior of the man. Yet it is so different.
Jericho Forge, the ship tycoon is like a force of nature. We get to see a glimpse of his traumatic past and my heart literally breaks for him. But the past had made him a force to reckon with. A ruthless businessman and a formidable enemy. He is driven by revenge and ambition. But he cares about his new wife deeply even if the marriage started as a deal. India Baptiste is breaking him slowly. She has changed a lot too. She wants to hate Jericho but she can’t despise the protective and loving husband he is becoming. He made some swooning grand gestures to win her heart. Of course they both made mistakes and hurt each other because both are stubborn and don’t want to loose the game of hearts. But some big revelations and serious dangers force them to lay all their cards on table. And just when I was getting comfortable, Meghan March throws the story upside down. I need answers right now.
This book is really fast paced and thriller like. The plot goes ups and downs in every chapter. The appea9of my other favorite billionaires Lincoln Riscoff and Creighton Karas were a delightful surprise! And Creighton plays an important role in changing direction of Jericho and Indy’s relation. How? Well I am not telling you obviously! The chemistry is nuclear hot. Both the romantic and mystery sides were fan-freaking-tastic. I waited with bated breath for next chapter. Meghan won’t let you settle and I enjoyed every moment of the ride. In one moment I am soaking in warmth of sweet and intimate romance. And in the next moment I was thrown into the chaos of drug dealers, conspiracy, rich corrupt men, mafia and kidnapping.
Luck of the Devil is a larger than life and sensational story. Meghan March takes us to the epic journey of Jericho Forge and India Baptiste where they find and accept love. The story has overwhelming emotion, explosive passion and nerve wrecking mystery. Meghan March has outdone herself. Again.
(ARC KINDLY PROVIDED BY AUTHOR FOR HONEST REVIEW)
I love this series by Meghan March and can’t wait until the last book. Jericho and India an amazing couple with power. A lot of twists in which reading each book tells what is happening. Amazing chemistry between Jericho and India. Can’t wait till I read the ending and hoping for their HEA.
