They call me Lucky. I never want to play the same hand twice. Until a gorgeous single mom deals me a hand I can’t refuse.I’m one of the Devil’s Riders, the inner circle of the biggest MC in Southern California. I’m just back from my final deployment. I paid my dues, and now I just want to enjoy myself. That means fast bikes, stiff drinks and easy women. As many as I can get.At least that’s what I … many as I can get.
At least that’s what I thought I wanted. Until I see her. Working the tables at an underground gambling den run by the local mafia, Kirsten is like a beautiful rose blooming in a pile of garbage. They might own her but she doesn’t belong there.
Neither of us do.
I risk my life every time I go back to see her, but I just can’t stay away. She turns me down again and again. But the night her world threatens to implode, I learn her secret. There is nothing that will stop me now. It’s her kid who finally helps me break down her walls. Once we start, it’s too late. We are both in too deep. I might be risking both of our lives, but I can’t get enough. I’m addicted to her and nothing in Heaven or Hell will stop me.
I’ll save her and her kid if it’s the last thing I ever do.

don’t know what else to say about Joanna Blake, she did exactly what she set out to do, make us fall in love with The Devil’s Riders, all over again. Amazing Just amazing , 5 stars!
Loved Luck and Kirsten! Once again Joanna Blake has out done herself!
This is a terrific read and a wonderful addition to this series. Lucky and Kirsten’s story story is filled with charm, heat, sweetness, drama, excitement, action, danger, humor and love. Lucky is incredibly charming, surprisingly sweet, 100% alpha male and a great guy that never thought he would be a one woman man until that moment he first sees Kirsten. Kirsten you could really feel for. As a struggling single mom that is fueled by love, determination and desperation, your heart truly bleeds for her. She is fierce, strong, realistic and relatable. Together these two made such an amazing couple. They both really needed the other and they fit perfectly together like two pieces of a puzzle. The storyline is very engaging and fun but also offers readers some powerful, emotional content. All of these things are beautifully crafted into a simply excellent read.
This was such an amazing book by a very talented author. I have read other books from Joanna Blake and I have to say this one is probably my favorite!! The writing is flawless and makes you feel like you are living out the story right along with the characters. You will not be able to put this one down once you start reading it. Lucky is the total alpha male wrapped up in a nice package and Kirsten is the sweetest, most loving person you will instantly fall in love with too. Get this book immediately!!
I received an arc for an honest review.
Really enjoyed reading this book. Great storyline and great characters. Kept my attention throughout the entire book.
3 1/2*
Lucky has returned from service into the mc club he’s into playing the gambling tables.
Kirsten has a debt to pay to the mob so working the tables is paying the loans slowly.
Lucky can’t believe his luck who is this Angel?
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my honest review.
So much more than I hoped for. Couldn’t put it down. Loved them!! The right balance of reality plus romance and a man who
Just wouldn’t give up on her. Sigh!!!
The book is about Lucky.
I really wanted to like it but the interactions between Lucky and Kirsten were just too sweet and perfect. The major obstacle of the story was resolved so quick it didn’t feel like a big problem. I didn’t really connect with Kirsten and I am somewhat shocked she was able to thrive with the way she handle majority of the situations. She constantly put herself in multiple kinds of danger but didn’t really do anything to protect herself. If Lucky hadn’t come along, I’m pretty sure Kirsten would’ve experience some terrible things.
Possible Spoilers:
The major conflict was completely handled by 64% into the book; the rest of the book is Lucky and Kirsten saying how much they love each other. Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy a good loving interaction but there was really no need for so much of that, it felt like a filler that kept going.
Jacey was cute, but I feel like we didn’t get to know her all that well, although she was mentioned frequently. As always I do love the glimpse into the past couples and what they are up to now.
