Lucifer’s Emblem: A Paranormal Academy Romance by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk is the first book in the Celestial Academy series. Lucifer’s daughter is tracking down her father’s emblem which has been stolen. This is his defense against the Archangels but somehow has made its way to the Celestial Academy. Who is behind this theft and will Zuri figure it out and retrieve the emblem.
This is an entertaining book and kept me wanting more. I like the idea of the daughters of Lucifer and Michael having to team up together. There was action and fast paced story telling. I enjoyed the concept, characters, and the story. I am really looking forward to the next book in this series.
5 Stars
Lucifer’s Emblem is the first book in the new Celestial Academy series by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk. This is definitely my favourite of their books, so far- and I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest of the series. It is a fantastic YA series with angels- Fallen and Archangels- as well as adventure, mystery, action, suspense, friendship, discoveries, danger, and so much more.
Zuri is the eighteen year-old daughter of Lucifer, the Ruler of Hell, and has been groomed to take over the kingdom one day. Here we discover that there is a lot more to Lucifer than we’ve been ‘told’. (Which is an intriguing take on the whole ‘Lucifer’ story). Anyway, Lucifer’s Emblem is their family heirloom and their only defense against the Archangels- so when it disappears Zuri is determined to hunt it down and return it to hell. She tracks the Emblem to the Celestial Academy, and in order to gain access there she assumes a new identity- so she can continue her search. She is accepted, and then discovers that her new roommate is none other than Archangel Michael’s daughter, Miryam. This should be interesting. As things evolve, she and Miryam begin to form a bond- but can Zuri really trust her? She soon discovers that there is a lot more to the emblem than she knew, and now there is so much more at stake- the missing emblem is just the beginning.
This is an exciting and very original story and I loved following along on the adventure! Book two can’t come soon enough!!!
Thank you, Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk!
Lucifer’s Emblem: A Paranormal Academy Romance by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk is the first book in the Celestial Academy series. This is a great collaboration between two authors.
This book was definitely an interesting one. It felt like it had a fresh take on the whole Lucifer story which was nice. It meant it didn’t get boring and slow.
The characters were enjoyable too. They were entertaining and both different from each other. That story was quite fast paced, it felt like I read it fairly quickly. This is an overall good story and I am looking forward to book 2.
This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite yet. It is a paranormal romance story that I had a hard time putting down once I started it. I was pulled right into the story by the characters. I found that I could easily connect to them. They made the story feel real. The story is about an emblem that was stolen that must be found before it unleashes Armageddon. There is only one person’s blood who can stop it, Zuri’s but will she learn to trust Miryam before it is too late? I really enjoyed this story and the mystery it brought. Watching their bond grow throughout the story was great and the connections they made with each other. I highly recommend reading about these Fallen and Archangels and if they find the emblem before it is too late
The characters and story line were good. The story didn’t flow quite as well as some other books by this author, but it was still an enjoyable read.
