This is hard to review without spoilers. I definitely loved this book but it was completely unexpected and it flipped every expectation of what I wanted to happen from previous books. I didn’t like Lucca prior to this book, and I was completely rooting for Amo getting together with Chloe. I mean Amo is a beast and a gentle giant but also a killer, but not quite the psychopath that Lucca is.
Lucca is basically stalking Chloe, then he kidnaps her but you have to read this because he is truly saving her in so many ways and though he is a psycho, he is great with her. It is so good.
Lucca’s story is exactly everything I hoped it would be. I wasn’t sure what to expect with Chloe, but I am NOT disappointed with how the plot panned out. The suspense was legit!
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! BEST BOOK OF THE SERIES THAT I’V READ SO FAR!!!!!!!
This is the fourth book of the Made Men Series and part 2 of Chloe’s story and we also follow her relationship with Lucca.
Ok I will assume you have read book 3 so I will mention a mild spoiler of the Chloe’s cliffhanger. When Lucca had kidnapped her, the book had just finished and I had to go and start with Lucca because so many questions I have need to be answered!!!!!!
And it does answer and it is very reasonable so I forgive you Lucca for doing it. But other than that, their relationship is the best because of the slow burn and kind of realistic?!!!!!! Also, I love how Lucca is trying his best in helping Chloe break her fear of touch. It was so sweet and shows that trauma does not go away easily and it needs time.
But not only this book was about their relationship, there was also the war between the Caruso’s and Luciano. The boss of the Luciano has a big dark part in Chloe’s past and whenever we discover more about it, the more my hatred for him and the more heartbreak I have for what Chloe suffered. It’s finally time for her to get her justice!!!!
But my heart got really broken for Amo. I really hope he gets his true love and become friends with Chloe again.
We also get introduced to a new character. His name is Drago and I am interested to know more about him especially what had happened to him during the book!!!!
And the final scene of this book was so precious and I am so happy that the author announced that there will be a Lucca 2!!!!!!! But I need Amo’s book to happen before that!!!
All in all, this book gets a 5 star from me, but if it was up to me, I would give it a million.
OMG LUCCA 5 stars
Luca is a genuine Alpha male there is so much brutality and coldness in him,
but if he loves someone he will do everything for that person
“You will never know the love I feel for her. How beautiful it is. How painful it can be. What it felt like when I first looked at her. And what it felt like when I thought I might lose her before I could even save her. You will never know true love until you experience true fear. And you will never feel those toward her, as I am the only one for her. She. Is. Mine.”
The story is so well written from start to finish action takes place in the book
Emotionally tragic brutal and hot scenes
The epilogue was exciting and brutal
Thank you!
I don’t really read Mafia based books but everytime a Sarah Brianne book comes out its a one click for sure.
This book was everything in more, there were so many question, who did Chole love, who was she going to end up with. I just couldn’t wait to get into this and she’s how Choles story finished.
I love the way Sarah Brianne writes, it’s so different but so awesome, i really feel like you get to know how everyone is feeling and you get there point of view but with out realising it.
Lucca was an interesting character being the underboss of his family and even at times i think i was scared of him, but there was something deep inside of him that was caring and loving. I didn’t like him in the first part of this book but as the story went and we got to know a few secrets, you really began to see what kind of guy he will be for Chole and how much he loves her.
Chole is still the same shy, quiet and closed off girl and it is so sad to see why she ended up the way she did, but it was so good to find out what really happened and it was amazing to see her come out of her shell.
I loved everything about this books and love this series can’t wait to find out what and who the next book are about and get back into this mafia story at two family’s at war.
Massive 5 Stars for this baby
This book is awesome… Every girl Hope’s for a larger than life kind of man that is totally in to you! I like this one better than the first three. The others were too high school–ish…
Oh my days..
I mean, I knew Lucca’s story would be quite dramatic, but I didn’t expect him to be this kind of possessive. This is a whole new level!
Lucca is literally kidnapping Sophie. For a good reason. How can I NOT enjoy the moment when Lucca finally opened up his head and heart for us to peek?
I enjoyed this book so much. Not 5 stars though, mostly because I was expecting more plot twist instead of few repetitions and inside-the-head talk. Sophie tend to overthink, and Lucca’s far too fast paced. I hope he could slow down and let Sophie adapt to him in more nurturing way.
But overall I liked it. Oh my God I don’t want this series to end! I want more Lucca and Sophie!
