Usually when I get a box set from one author I don’t read all of them at once, it has the tendency to get old. However I didn’t find that with this set. Each story has unique characters with a whole different set of troubles, issues, work arounds and stolen hearts. Yes it’s clean and sweet but it’s also all around good reading. I love that by the end of the set you feel a kinship with each of the couples. There isn’t any preaching but these couples do not deny their belief in God. I really enjoyed each one.
Her Billionaire Internist – He had been burned by a woman and it ended tragically. She had been hurt and had to make some life altering decisions at a young age. Neither wanted love so when it hit neither was prepared. Life has more in store for them than they ever imagined and it time to explore it together.
This was an enjoyable, clean romance. Alicia and Blake aren’t looking for love, and are surprised by the level of their attraction to each other. Alicia and Blake are both super smart, really competent doctors. The story went pretty fast for me, but there was a lot of drama that you’d think someone that smart wouldn’t engage in. Sometimes experiences can do that, but it seemed a bit much. Anyway, I enjoyed the secondary characters, as well. I was a little more character development had been done on Blake’s family. Where did he get his level head from? I’d also like to know more about Willow. All in all, a great story! I volunteered to read an ARC of this book.
This was a great story. It took a little bit to get into the story, but once into it I couldn’t put it down. The plot moved well and the chemistry between Blake and Alicia is off the charts. I loved how the story developed and brought out Blake and Alicia’s weaknesses as well as strengths. It seemed that they were much better as a team than apart, yet if they wanted to continue alone they could. Alicia’s struggle with her niece added to the story and gave it more depth. Overall a very good clean romance. I recommend to those that love clean romance. I received a copy of this book. This was my honest and voluntary review.
Wow!!!!! This is such an amazing love story that I had to read it all without putting it down. It tells the stories of two people full of loss and not looking for a relationship and whose first meeting was not a good one.
However circumstances keep bringing them together and feelings change.
Her Billionaire Internist is a great book in a series book about medical doctors finding love without boundaries. This is a book that follows Blake and Alicia in their sweet, fast paced life, working hard and opening of the heart after life altering challenges. Learning to be truly loved, living fully without fear is what Alicia’s heart begs for. While Blake learns to balance what he needs, what’s required of him and what he foresees as duty to family and future. Don’t miss this 2nd book of the series and see how Blake is loved, cherished and raised by his parents of the 1st book in the series! Great as a standalone too, don’t miss out on Blake and Alicia’s best love story that fills your heart with music!
Love at The Hospital
This story is a sweet and clean romance. It takes place at a hospital and is pretty much standard romance novel fare. It does involve a seriously ill Cystic Fibrosis patient which makes for a sad and stressful story. I read romance stories to escape from reality. A critically ill child is not escapist for me. This is the second medical romance that I have recently read. Both of these stories dealt with seriously ill young people. I am going to stay away from Medical romances as they are not escapist fantasies for me. I received this book for free and this is my honest review.
Something was just off for me. I’m not sure if it was Mr. Perfect, not seeing much of Alicia’s niece, or Mr. Perfect’s father that only shows up to cause a problem to move the story along. I eventually skimmed the next 20 chapters and read from there. The ending wasn’t too bad, and I wasn’t even lost too much after skipping all those chapters.
An amazing well written sweet clean romance. Its full of loss, fears, insecurities, lots of drama, instant connection, secrets, sadness, and love. I really enjoyed reading how these two driven doctors learn to trust each other releasing their insecurities and learn to trust after a not so good meeting and neither looking for love. The characters are strong, likeable and well developed as you laugh thru their miscommunications and circumstances that keep bringing them together and watch love grow as they get to a great HEA. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
