Both Jordan and Eric were hiding the complete truth from each other. He had no idea that she had partial amnesia and of course, she had no idea the newly hired hand was really Prince Eric, the recently left-at-the-altar crown prince of Newcastle Islands. Rose Verde has a way of weaving her stories with the perfect blend of tension, romance, interesting characters and story line. This was a fun story to read and I love there are other characters she can now write about, letting us revisit with Jordan and Eric.
Loving Royalty is a sweet, clean, Christian romance that will touch your heart. It felt like a modern day fairy tale with a fun, happily ever after. I enjoyed the story and the wonderful characters of Jordan and Prince Eric. I also enjoyed the Bible quotes, especially when Jordan or Prince Eric needed help or God’s strength. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
This is a different take on a royal/commoner romantic match. Jordon being dumped by her boyfriend because she has amnesia, a prince going into hiding on her parents horse ranch after being dumped at the altar. They both have secrets about their pasts. How their HEA comes about is really good. Ms. Verde is one of my favorite authors & does such a superb job with this book. I received an ARC. This is my honest, voluntary review.
Can two people from two very different worlds really find true and lasting love? A faith filled romance with a bit of mystery and secrets. Loved how both Jordan and Eric’s families were very supportive. The epilogue was really sweet.
Loving Royalty is the newest book written by Rose Verde. For those of you that don’t know, Rose Verde writes Christian Fiction. Most of her books are romances and have a HEA ending. Loving Royalty is a romance with a bit of a fairytale story. Every girl fantasizes about finding her Prince but few find them who are really royal. Loving Royalty is a good book. The story is fun and easy to read. The characters are likable and seem real. The story takes you on quite a ride until you get to the HEA ending. If you are looking for a story that makes a statement, this is not the book for you. This is just a great story that will give you a few hours of fun entertainment and an escape from your everyday life.
If you like the loving a billionaire type of books and the cowboys on a working ranch books you with love this book. Prince Eric of Northcastle Island was stood up at the alter. To get away from the press he leaves and will not tell his family where he was going to get some peace. He goes to a family owned ranch he seen online that had an ad for a ranch hand. He decided he would cut his hair, dye it blonde and shave off his beard to change his looks. He thought if he hired on as a ranch hand for 3 months that would give the press time to get passed his wedding fiasco. He was hired to help lead trail rides on the ranch and help with the horses. He enjoyed the work and suddenly he started to like Jordan the daughter of the owners. She seemed happy and carefree, just what he wished he could be.
Jordan was still recovering from a severe fall off a horse that she sustained a head injury and lost her memory. She remembered her family but after 6 months she still didn’t remember her boyfriend or have any feelings toward him. He broke up with her but she didn’t really feel a loss. When Eric shows up she starts liking him also. They go to helping each other with their work just to have time together. But Jordan seen the newspaper showing his picture and the story about his wedding. She asks him if he is the Prince and he lied to keep his cover. But Jordan was keeping her own secret about her amnesia.
With them falling in love can Eric tell her who he is and will she still love him? Will Eric propose to her and will Jordan accept his proposal and leave the only place she has ever known and her horse that she loves so much?
I highly suggest reading this book. It was a pure enjoyment! I was given a advance copy of this book and This is my honest review.
Jake, Jordan, Jesse, Justin are siblings, live in a farm with many horses.
I love reading about Nature, simple life, small important things to enjoy.
I couldn’t put down the book, reading you feel to be there at Horn farm, feel family.
Rose Verde has written a wonderful romance. I really enjoyed the characters – Jordan with selective amnesia who is trying to forge new memories and Prince Eric who was left at the altar. This is an interesting story as a romance develops between these two. No one at the ranch knows Eric is a prince. What will happen when they find out? Will these two have a happily ever after? I found that I had to finish the book once I picked it up!
What a heart-breaking introduction to Jordan. She lost her memory, and is now rejected by her guy. To protect herself from hurt, she spends her time on the ranch training with her beloved horse. Jordan’s brothers are protective and her family full of love, and care.
Prince Eric has also been rejected, and must move on with his life. He goes into hiding to avoid the press, and ends up working on a ranch. Intrigued by Jordan, he becomes her friend.
The author gives us a sensitive and honest look at the struggles of facing amnesia, rejection, and building a new life.
I loved how the relationship between Jordan, and Eric progresses from friendship to love. The problem is, she doesn’t know he’s a prince. What happens when she finds out he wasn’t honest with her? How can he share the truth if it means he might lose her?
Another delightful story with characters that steal into your heart from the very first page. Jordan has amnesia where she only has partial recall of her past. You can feel her frustration with not being able to remember much of her life, but her determination NOT to feel sorry for herself and to trust God make her one of my favorite heroines! It was awesome watching Eric fall in love, not only with a whirlwind named Jordan, but with his Heavenly Father. I was questioning my own heart, along with Eric – am I just going through the motions, or am I actually living every moment for Christ? Loving Royalty was a thoroughly enjoyable book!
Clean Romance, Faith Filled
This is a clean and faith-filled romance. With a Canadian horse ranch as a backdrop, there is much to enjoy about this book. My only complaint is that it is not long enough. It feels as if there should be more of the story. More detail, more background, more angst. It has too much detail for the minimalist short story and not enough for a good novella. What there is of the story is excellent. I received this ARC book for free and this is my honest review.
