This book is well written, the characters pop out at you and you can easily get lost in the pages, very easy to read and follow. It wasn’t what I thought the book was going to be about but was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed reading it
An emotional ride. Luc is very aloof and devil doesn’t care attitude. Under the surface though is just a man who doesn’t let true feelings surface. He’s got a sweet gentle side til he opens his mouth. He truly doesn’t know what to say sometimes then oops. Especially when it comes to Lilith. She’s loves Luc always has but aside from their sexual chemistry they fight….a lot! She’s a little broken and it’s more than Luc always letting her down. Can these two grow a pair and work together to make things work?
I liked the book but even the end isn’t what you think. It’s not a true HEA but this works for them even if it kinda made me sad in a way. It’s a humorous book and enjoyed reading. New author for me.
Luc is exactly who you think he is. Sly and cocky. One day Lili Nix walks into his office. A woman from his past, he sets about to seduce her. Will this time be the same or will he show that he’s not as heartless as they say?
Lili and Luc’s story is full of high emotions that jump off the page. Lili finally sharing her secret with Luc is what their relationship needs. I loved this book.
Luc and Lili have shared a love-hate relationship for eons. This story is funny and sad, heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time. It s tweaked my interest enough that I’m anxious to read the other books in the series to fill in some gaps in this otherwise complete standalone novella. My understanding and enjoyment were far from impaired, however, so no worries about not being able to follow the story. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys angelic romance with more than a hint of the Devil.
I really loved this! I enjoyed the characters and their journey together. It was a wonderful blend of biblical mythology and sexy romance. The characters really made the story in this one for me. They felt so real and were entertaining. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an entertaining PNR.
This was a short but fun book. I really liked Luc and Lilli and found them both to be quite fun together. I found myself really falling into this story and wanting more. I definitely will be reading more books in this series!!
Overall rating: 4.7
Sweet, sassy, and snarky at the same time. I totally enjoyed this devil of a tale! Reminded me a lot of the TV show Lucifer, except with no police involved! Great characters, everything flowed easy. A great book for a humorous pick me up! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
The most unique book you probably EVER read!! LOL Only Nancee Cain could write pull off this story!!! HUGE PROPS!! The story is about Lili & Luc…..Luc is a bad boy, and who doesn’t fall for the bad boy! LOL You will love these together, that much I promise you! Luc’s story is worth the read, well done as always! I’m LOVING This author & all that she turns out!
Hot, steamy and fast paced. Luc D is the devil, Lili is his love off and on for eons… but can Lili keep going like this after all these years or does she need more? More….
5 stars for this great story!!!
Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you that Luci~fer is not a favorite character of mine. LOL
However in the story Nancee Cain has made me have some sympathy for the devil . I never thought I would say that.
This story is excellent. Lili is a strong woman. More than a match for Luci ~fer .
