Marc is a bull rider, his father has a ranch and started a camp to help troubled children.
Marc doesn’t understand the need to have the camp running, to spend so much time and love with strangers, he doesn’t share his father ideology.
“Maybe Marc was too difficult to love”.
Many volunteers come and go during the activities with children, such as Ronnie, and active nice girl..
wonderful characters, good haunting twisted story, you’ll love it, enjoy!
Loving Her Cowboy Enemy is another awesome Christian romance from Rose Verde. Ronnie and Marc have to learn to give to God their guilt over loved ones deaths. Marc has to learn that God loves him and repair the relationship with his dad. At his ranch, Marc’s dad is running, with Ronnie’s assistance a residential program for disadvantaged kids. Marc strongly feels that his dad needs to slow down. It was great to read this story about letting go of fear and living in God’s love. I highly recommend it.
It’s hard to give up a profession you want so badly. It’s also hard when you have to give up the guy you want to love because of his profession. That the dilemma for Ronnie & Marc. This is a good story of how they overcome their conflict. I received an ARC. This is my voluntary review.
Rose Verde’s characters are always well developed and the characters in this book continue that expectation. Veronica/Ronnie has good reason to dislike bull riding and she knows that her fear/dislike of bull riding has become unhealthy but she can’t help how she feels. That fear definitely affects her relationship with Marc. This is a good study of their attraction and attempts to ignore/embrace/ignore that attraction. I enjoyed watching them grow and come to an understanding of the fears and misunderstandings that have come to rule their lives.
I received an ARC of this book from the author, Rose Verde, via Bookfunnel and this is my voluntary and honest review. I loved this wonderful Christian romance between Marc and Veronica (Ronnie). They both had guilt from deaths of loved ones from their pasts. Marc lost his Mother and a few years later his brother and Ronnie lost her fiance. Neither were responsible for those deaths but their actions before the deaths and that they could not ask forgiveness from those people led to their guilt. When Marc and Ronnie trusted each other enough to talk about their guilt and to put their future in God’s hands did they start to live and find love and happiness again. I enjoyed reading about the program for disadvantaged kids that Ronnie and Marc’s father were a part of. This book is the perfect start to a new series, and I highly recommend this book. This author has always been a favorite of mine, and I look forward to reading her books.
When you are reading a book, do you ever have to stop right there in the first chapter to double check that this is a series? Loving Her Cowboy Enemy is one of those books that as you turn the pages the characters march right into your heart and take up residence! I found such encouragement to my own faith as I watched Ronnie struggle with fear, and saw her applying God’s perfect love to cast out that fear. Marc is a perfectly marvelous hero…how to put it without giving any spoilers… He is a perfectly marvelous hero as he comes to know the grace, mercy, and love of Jesus and as he realizes that God’s best far exceeds our ideas of the best for our lives.
Oh! I didn’t mention the beautiful descriptions of Alberta! You can enjoy Armchair Traveling while we are all Staying at Home. To put it quite simply, this is a book (and series) that you don’t want to miss.
Sexy cowboys, bull riders, and romance made this a beautiful story to read. The characters were so real that they felt like friends. The romance between Marc and Ronnie had you guessing if they were together or not. I especially liked how the Bible Scriptures were integrated into the story and how Marc had to find his way back to God before he could fully love Ronnie. I also liked how Ronnie’s fear prevented her from following God’s path, so she had to let that fear go. I enjoyed the youth program set up on the Baxter’s ranch. This was a great story! I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
Ronnie has a hurt in her past that keeps her not quite willing to go forward in her future. Marc loves his job and is not ready to give it up. There beginning is a little rocky but with time they learn to see each other with their hearts. What will it take for these too to actually fall forever?
