Benny’s involved with the wrong man. Ike is sure he can change that, if only he can get out of the friend zone … marriage.
When an incident with an endangered fish brings Benny into YouTube star Ike Fitzgerald’s life, he quickly begins to think of her as a friend—and then more than a friend. He’s sure that together, they’ll be able to tackle the challenges facing both of them—if only he can convince her that love doesn’t necessarily equal pain, disappointment, and disaster.
Loving Benny is the fourth book in Linda Seed’s Russo Sisters series, but it can also be enjoyed as a stand-alone romance.

I had planned to read “Loving Benny” during a long overdue vacation to the Central Coast. The timing of this book could not have been more perfect, because even though we had to cancel our trip and “shelter at home,” I was still able to read the latest from my favorite author and escape, at least through these pages, to my favorite place.
This is the fourth and final book in the Russo Sisters series, and I’d been waiting to discover Benny’s story and see if she, too, would have her happily ever after. I’d always thought of Benny as the strongest Russo sister, but in this book Linda Seed shows a multi-dimensional young woman: vulnerable and wary yet spunky and sassy, and smart yet filled with self-doubt when it comes to relationships. And yes, while each book can be read as a “stand alone,” it was great to re-visit the other sisters, and enjoy their close, loving bond (but one that also comes with the usual sibling bickering and humor).
There were some big surprises in this book and I loved how Benny’s relationships with YouTube star Ike, Jimmy, and her sisters all played out. The dialogue was snappy and true to life, as were the situations (again, I don’t want to give anything away). Lots of laughs, tears, and romance made this a perfect conclusion to this series. OK, Linda, I’m waiting for the next one!!
Benny is the only Russo sister that hasn’t found her HEA and she’s fearful that she never will. She’s getting older, she wants the security of a tenure at the college and is in a relationship that she really doesn’t want to be in but feels it is her only option. When a freak discovery threatens everything she’s ever believed in, she tries to handle it herself instead of talking to her sisters because she doesn’t want them to doubt everything too. But she’s miserable, then there’s issues at work and she’s forced to take some time off. Her so called boyfriend is just a jerk! She comes across a YouTube video which is how she meets Ike. The interaction between the two of them is really comical. He’s pretty mellow and really wanting to do a life redo and having trouble setting that in motion. Ike and Benny find they enjoy being together and talking and are really able to help the other see things more clearly and get the confusing part of their lives straightened out. The friendship grows and they are just what the other needs to complete their lives! These sisters have such a great relationship and I am really going to miss reading their stories! Wonderful character development and dialogue! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my review.
I was captivated from the very first page with the wonderfully written storyline and the characters were created with great detail and depth which made this book a real page turner!
“Loving Benny” The Russo Sister book 4 by Linda Seed was definitely a great read. Benny is in a very demeaning relationship with Jim Fox. He seems to make everything that goes wrong in their relationship her fault. Beeny seems to feel that this all life has to offer her. When Benny goes out with one of her sisters on a kitchen tour she notice a wooden box that was her father’s. This makes her realizes that her deceased parents marriage wasn’t all what it seemed to be. Her father had been cheating on her mother for years. Feeling hurt and angry she feels she doesn’t deserve true love & happiness. She meets a youtube star Ike and he makes her feel things that she has never felt before. Can Ike help Beeny get over her fears that she is unloveable. Read”loving Benny” and she if she gets her happily ever after.
