Loving Ashe
The story pulls you in so many different directions at times you have no way of knowing what way is up
AN EXTREME IN FAMILIAL LOVE
Riley Eames is a woman who can’t find her way. She loves too deeply and has lost her self-esteem. Ashe Hunter is a rising actor and Riley has never heard of him. Between all of Riley’s self-destructive and low self-esteem acts, she can’t see what’s in front of her face. Ashe is not an actor who relishes in public notoriety. He’d rather be himself than the images the industry wishes to portray of him. Between Riley’s cheating ex-boyfriend, her despicable father, her sister and her brother-in-law, Riley is always trying to figure out what is wrong with her. Be prepared for betrayal, cheating, lies and omissions galore. Somewhere in all of this, Riley finds a kernel of truth that can grow.
This story truly shows how emotional and physical abuse are never forgotten. Riley struggles with relationships and focusing on others because of her lack of self worth. Ashe has a way of bringing Riley out of that bubble and helping her through her struggles. I loved the dynamic between these two. Their chemistry is sweet and perfect for each other. Throw in an ex-boyfriend and let the drama begin.
Traci Marks always delivers a wonderful performance. Traci is able to separate the characters to make the story easy to follow. Her make voices are deeper and easy to tell it is a male character. Traci brought this story to life and added to the overall experience.
This is the first book in The Celebrity Series. Riley’s story is beautifully written, heartbreaking, and filled with drama and unpredictable twits and shocking turns. There is a lot going on in this captivating story. Riley is strong and beautiful. Ashe is handsome, loving and caring. They are great together, and they share a strong chemistry. The secondary characters are an important part of this story. I loved/hated Gareth, Paige and Clint. The triplet boys are cute. This was an emotional listen, with a great ending. Now, I can’t wait to listen to Loving Riley, the second book in this captvating Series. Tracy Marks did an outstanding job with the narration. She has a beautiful voice, and a great male voice. I enjoyed my listening and highly recommend it.
Loving Ashe, The Celebrity Series Book One is not your orthodox girl meets boy who just happens to be a celebrity & endure in usual trials and tribulations. Supporting character’s are relative, nd play a intrical part in the narrative. All characters are full-fledged with their own characteristics. Unveil of secrets in days gone by come to light when unexpected twists plunge through the narrative. Betrayal swirling through the pages of this complexity of a narrative. A love triangle between early history and at this moment escaping from the time gone by. More than a celebrity romance series that will take by the storm. Looking forward to listening to the next audiobook in The Celebrity Series.
Narator Tracy Marks voice-over and staging was thespian with multi-voices. A theatrical listen.

Loving Ashe is a lovely read. It has quite a few twists in it. I almost wanted to race through Ashe and Riley’s story to find the answers to all my questions but I didn’t want to miss anything. I adored Ashe. His character totally melted my heart. I liked Riley too, especially towards the end. I enjoyed going on this journey with them and can’t wait to devour the second half of this duet. (4.5)
I absolutely loved this story. It caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. Ashe Hunter and Riley Eames meet by chance when they get stuck in a hotel elevator. Riley was there to meet her ex-boyfriend, but decides against it. Ashe was there doing press for his movie. The characters are well developed, complex, face many obstacles, and have great chemistry together. Highly recommended.
I received a free audible copy for my honest review.
Riley Ian over her ex-boyfriend Gareth after he left her three years ago to become a famous actor. Or so she thinks. When he contact her and aske her to come to his hotel she say yes. But while trying to leave the hotel without seeing Gareth, she is trapped in the elevator with Ashe Husten, a famous actor as well. CAn Riley really let go of her past and find happiness and love again with Ashe ? A powerful story about love. Family, friendship and forgiviness. The audiobook is great.
This was my first book from this author and I truly enjoyed it. The storyline was very engaging and grabbed and held my attention well with loads of emotional turmoil, drama, humor, delightful banter and stunning twists. I liked Riley. On one hand she could be quirky and fun. I also felt for her. She had some big insecurities and some very heavy emotional baggage from her past that still weighed in heavily on her present. As much sympathy as I had for her I still often found myself wanting to shake her while telling her to let go, move on and grow up. She was the queen of bad decisions. Lashing and acting out like a child and doing plenty of collateral damage to herself and others along the way. I know she was hurt, broken hearted and betrayed. She had a right to her anger and pain. I just wish she hadn’t been so immature because in my opinion she hurt some people that just didn’t deserve it. As for Ashe, what can I say. This hot British actor had me swooning. With his laid back charm, genuineness, a good splash of intensity and a head that seems to be firmly on straight, he was the ultimate book boyfriend. I do feel that there is more to discover about him and I think that will play heavily into book two of this series. I did love the chemistry and attraction that these two shared. It made them easy to root for as a couple. There was a medium level of heat in this book. It is not fade to black but it is not in-your-face graphic either. Even though it looks like book two contains more of this couple, I feel that it could easily be enjoyed as a standalone book. Things are wrapped up quite nicely by the end of the epilogue. This is my sincere review that I am posting of my own accord.

Loving Ashe
The Celebrity Series, Book 1
By: Liz Durano
Narrated by: Tracy Marks
I loved this story, it is well written and it captivated my mind from start to end. The storylines are interesting and there are so many emotions built in to them. An array of emotions, happiness, sadness, anger, guilt and shame. I liked both leads, Riley and Ashe, the chemistry between them was smoking. I really felt for Riley, she did not have the easiest childhood and then her life fell apart when her heart was broken by her childhood sweetheart. And Ashe had a way about him, his charm, personality, confidence and positive outlook. He seemed to have wisdom within, I am looking forward to find out more about him in the next book, “Loving Riley”. Liz Durano, thank you for this great story and the drama, twists, humor and hot romance. I hope the audio of “Loving Riley” is in the works and will be available soon.
I listened to the audio edition, Tracy Marks is a fabulous narrator & storyteller. She performs all the voices and switches characters effortlessly with out missing a beat. Great job with Ashe’s accents too. Thank you for another great & entertaining listen!!
