As crazy as it sounds, I drank the same “love potion” that my best friend Josie did. She was able to find her soulmate thanks to the mysterious brew, so I thought what do I have to lose?I was hoping for the best, but what I got was the absolute worst. Thanks to that stupid, purple liquid, I almost killed my college professor…two weeks before graduation.Professor Daughton is the type of man I’ve … the type of man I’ve always dreamed of marrying. He’s smart, funny and so hot it hurts to look at him three hours a week during his lecture. I’ve had a huge crush on him all semester; but now that I’m certain he’s my soulmate, I have to convince him we’re meant to be together.
Unfortunately, the psychic who sold us the potion said I only have seven days to make that happen or I’ll lose him forever.
Gage — I mean, Professor Daughton, eventually admits that he wants to be with me too, but he insists that we can’t cross that line as long as I’m still his student. And I can’t drop his class because I need it to walk across the stage in two weeks with my Master’s Degree.
Time is running out, so there’s only one thing left for me to do — seduce him. However, that’s easier said than done since I don’t know the first thing about wooing a man. I’ll have to go from 24-year-old virgin to vixen in a week if I want my happily ever after.

Reagan is finishing her masters degree when she drinks a love potion and then has a run in with her professor. Gage has admired Reagan from afar and made life altering decisions based on his feelings for her. After some ups and downs due to miscommunication, they get their HEA.
This was a quick, easy read. It was a good age gap romance.
This is Book 2 in the Lovestruck duet and while this can be read as a standalone book, this story actually “begins” where Tainted Love ends so for those of us that have read Book 1, we are all up to date on how the love potion was obtained and the requirements for it to work. That being said, I enjoyed this whimsical version of the old “Love Potion #9” premises and was anxious to find out if Reagan finds her soulmate like Josie did with Lawson. Or what if she can’t find “Mister Right” will Josie actually lose the love of her life? Reagan’s journey to “seal the deal” before the deadline was intriguing but when she was sure she found “Mister Right” was it fate or the potion. I enjoyed this book even though I normally shy away from Romantic Comedies but since this was by one of my favorite authors, I knew it was a “win win” no matter what.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
I liked this book very much.
An okay read. Very predictable especially in regards to the ex wife angle and professor/ student trope. Very steamy with an HEA.
Promises are to be fulfilled, lol, and when I received this book from the wonderful Lane Hart on my Kindle I was super happy. I loved it just as much as I loved the first book of the “Lovestruck series”. As I already said in my previous reviews, Lane Hart writting is simple, appealing and captivating, and in this case super fun. Only with her words, she can appeal to the most important organ in the human body, our heart.
When we lose a loved one, especially our father our lives will be forever incomplete, unfortunately I know pretty well what I’m talking about.
“Crazy in Love” is another beautiful tribute to true love that sometimes seems impossible to achieve. Reagan and Gage are the main characters of this plot and the whole book is switched between their point of views. This book is hilarious and I found myself laughing so hard because these characters are put in some very funny situations. Reagan is a free spirit; don’t like technology, loves the outdoors and she truly believes in true love and happily ever after.
Gage is a university professor, it was not his dream job but he loves teaching. From the first time he saw Reagan the attraction he felt for her was instant but he knows that a relationship with her is prohibited. A lot will happen and I can guarantee that you will be glued to your kindle because your curiosity levels will rise sharply. Overall this book is indeed very good and the story is simple which makes reading extremely pleasant. Now I leave you with the following questions and hope you’re able to answer:
Is there even true love? Our soul mate?
Another fantastic book that I was sorry that it ended so fast, because I loved it and wanted more. And now Lane Hart? What’s next? What great story is your brilliant mind ruminating? One thing is certain; whatever the theme of your next book is I know that I will be in the front row to read.
An interesting story line; a bit taboo, a bit of fantasy and a lot of romance. A good read for a short story that flowed well and described very interesting characters. Yes, I would be interested in reading more books in this series.
I received an advance review copy of this short story via Booksprout and I am leaving an honest review.
I really liked Josie and Lawson’s story but I fell in love with Reagan and Gage’s story. Gage had been watching Reagan from a far, falling in love with her day by day without even knowing her name. Reagan started crushing on him when she ended up in a class he was teaching. Josie takes the love potion and finds her true love. So Reagan has a duty to her friend to give it a try. The ensuing chaos is fun and engaging. Gage makes so many crazy mistakes all in the name of love. I loved how in the end LOVE triumphs being stronger than even a supposed love potion. A wonderfully sweet tale worthy of your time, money and your one-click. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a sappy, sweet love story.

I really like this idea, and that the love potion has to keep being passed along to keep on spreading it magic! And how cute is a love story that starts with the girl almost killing the guy???
Reagan, the virgin…. Gage the older married man…. and her professor! What could possibly go wrong for them??? Its not totally believable that a virgin would be seriously throwing herself in the sluttiest way at her professor, but who wants complete realism anyway?
Love potions. Severe food allergy. Slutty school girl. Jealous wife. Selfless man sacrificing himself for the woman he loves. This story has got a ton of great stuff packed into its pages.
Lane said she was taking a break from writing this series, but if she ever picks it up again I will be right there ready to continue the Love Potion journey!!!
Crazy in Love by Lane Hart a five-star read that will strike you in places that will curl your toes. This is the second book in the Lovestruck series and they are both amazing, I want a bottle of my own, but I hope mine would be green for my favourite colour and not green for envy. Reagan Harper is a brilliant character, she is happy in her own skin and doesn’t care what people think, well mostly that’s the case and that makes her so amazing in my book. When its her turn to drink, will she make the right choice? Or will the passion be too much and end up with one of them in more trouble than the other? When you have your job, your life and your soul on the line, would you cross it for love?
Lane Hart you know I have deep admiration for you, I love your writing and I can only hope that we get more little bottles from you.
