Lovely and heart-warming!
Life is hard on the Wrights. Serenity is the oldest sister of three and has to take care of her dad as well as her younger sisters. Her own hopes and dreams are important, but not as important as her love for her family.
It’s a novella, so it’s a quick read, (I do like my romances to be a little bit slower; this was very fast) but it had everything. I loved it, because I FELT it. It had some heavy moments, but there’s light, and hope, and love! It felt real. It was sweet, it was heart-warming, it was deep, it was lovely!
I received an ARC for an honest review.
A perfect quick read! I love the stories about Sweet Grove. I look forward to more about the sisters introduced in this story.
Serenity had to take care of her family when her Mama walked out on them. She has sacrificed everything for them until Axel shows up. He breathes life into her dreams and helps make them come true.
Love’s Light
By, Raines English
Love’s Light is just that, a story filled with love; pure, sweet, simple love the way god intended. A TOTALLY amazing story, it brought tears to my eyes; this book deserves TEN stars. A must read for everyone; we all go through times when we have too much for us to handle any more, we feel that we can not go on any more. Trust and faith in something we can not see, helps to carry us through to the end; where happiness rains down on all those we love.
I have found my next favorite author to read. This story has many tragic events happen; but, in the end has so very many blessings that come, all at the same time. True love, strength of a good person holding thing together for the good of the family; ends up being rewarded here on earth for doing the right thing. Finding love and having a dream come true.
Life’s journey; a path that we all must take, with all the bumps in the road along the way. Author Raines English; has been able to capture, the goodness that can, and will come out of all the bad things that happen in life; when given a chance. We have a story that happens way too often, today; when wrong paths get taken. But, the right person comes along right when they are needed; answering prayer that were thought to never happen.
I loved this sweet romantic love story. It is a beautifully written story of a young woman taking care of her father and two sisters after her mother ran out on the family when she was ten. The story takes place in the small town of Sweet Grove, Texas where she works as a waitress and sings at a honky tonk on the weekends. Axel Scott a well-known song writer has writers block and comes to Sweet Grove,TX to rejuvenate. Axel hears Serenity sing at the honky tonk and instantly attracted to Serenity an is revitalized musically. Loves Light involves family drama and is an emotional and up lifting story and I highly recommend reading it. I received a free copy of this book and have voluntarily choose to review it.

An enjoyable, clean romance, we meet Serenity Wright who has had to put her life dream of becoming a country singer on the Grand Ole Opry stage on hold to help raise her two sisters after their mother left them and then care for her father after a disabling accident.
She works by day in a diner and has occasional local singing gigs on the weekend.
Axel Scott, a famous Nashville songwriter, comes to town to stay after he experiences a lull in his songwriting abilities after a divorce.
They meet and Axel sees much potential in Serenity, but will he be able to convince her to leave her responsibilities to her family to finally pursue her career?
This is a sweet read of commitment, forgiveness, love and renewal for life.
I recommend this to any reader who enjoys the sweet, clean romance genre.
