A funny and romantic story. Lily and Kane don’t do relationships. They decide to embark on a friends with benefits arrangement to suit each other’s needs. What happens when they start to have feelings? Will they fall in love or break everything off? A great read!!
The main characters are Lilly and Kane, both are dominant characters both are stubborn. I chose this book because I liked the blurb and the book did not disappoint me at all. These two characters have a great relationship, they wanted it all casual and emotionless, best laid plans and all, this didn’t work out so well! I thought the author wrote some great dialogue for both these characters and it showed their humor well. It’s the first book I’ve read by this author and I really loved it.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loves Hot tells Lilly and Kane’s story. What starts off a no strings attached relationship with both of them having rules and not doing conventional relationships quickly turns into so much more. The chemistry is off the charts and the pair are very well suited and I couldn’t help but fall in love with them. The story was well written and full of drama and passion. This is book 5 of the series but it can be read as a stand-alone .
Another wonderful book to the collection. I have loved reading this series.
Lilly may be the youngest one of the Stevenson clan, but she is most definitely the loudest. She is stubborn, addicted to shopping, loves her shoe collection, nightclubs and has no intentions of settling down in the foreseeable future. A night out relaxing, drinking and dancing in the arms of her future brother in law’s best friend and I’m sensing trouble. Kane is entranced by this beautiful woman in a red dress, but he doesn’t do relationships because of his job. He chose his career over having a family, because he’d hate to leave the house each morning knowing he may not return home. However after one hot and lustful night spent with each other they have had their worlds tipped off the axis. Which leads them to enter an arrangement, a friends with benefits deal that no one can ever know about.
Love’s Hot by Karen Deen is a fantastic and awesome read! This is the first book that I have read by this author. Trust me it won’t be my last time reading her books. This is the 5th book in her popular Time for Love series. I couldn’t put my kindle down until I finished reading this fantastic book! In fact, I will be going back to read the first four books in the series.
Love’s Hot explores the budding romance between Lilly, the youngest sibling of the Stevenson clan and Kane, who is a police detective. Kane is also the friend of Lilly’s sister fiancé. The pair met when Lilly, her brother, her sister, and her sister’s fiancé go on a trip to New York for the weekend to see Lilly’s brother fiancée perform. They went out to drinks at a club, and that is when Lilly met Kane for the first time. Kane was in New York for his job at a conference. When the pair sees each other for the 1st time, the chemistry between them was off the charts. Lilly and Kane spent a night of passion together with no strings attached. When the pair gets home from New York, both of them can’t get the other off of their minds.
Will Lilly and Kane continue their friends with benefits affair? Will Lilly and Kane fall in love? Will the pair get their happy ever after? You will have to read Love’s Hot by Karen Deen to find out! This book has plenty of fantastic love scenes and some romantic suspense. Love’s Hot is definitely a must-read!

Kane and Lilly were hot! This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I was not disappointed. This had everything you could ever want. I couldn’t put it down. I love it when a book has me hooked from the very beginning. Kane and Lilly’s chemistry was out of this world and it was only a matter of time before they realized they couldn’t get enough and friends with benefits would just not work. I can’t wait to pick up other books by Karen Deen now. I am hooked!
Love’s Hot by Karen Deen is the story of Lilly and Kane.
Lilly doesn’t do relationships nor does Kane so them come up with the scene to be friend’s with benefits so that they can tap into their mutual attraction. But the more time they are together the harder it is to stick with this agreement. Kane’s job does set him up for the darkness that it gives to him and when he has to do more for his job he breaks things off with Lilly But no break is easy and they start to see that apart doesn’t work for them as it should have.
Hot read for sure! I hope to read more books from this author.
I completely fell in love with Kane. He was just yummy. Lilly I didn’t care for. There was just something about her I couldn’t want up to.
Lilly and Kane have no intentions of settling down. They like having no commitments or expectations & enjoy the single life. A friends with benefits relationship sounds like the perfect plan. Until feelings start to emerge. And now both are panicking & desperately trying to ignore the way they feel when they are away from each other. When Kane makes a decision to lie & break Lilly’s heart, will she be willing to forgive him when he comes back to her? This was another great add to the series, which includes much of Lilly’s siblings from the previous books. Looking forward to reading more from this author!
This is a new author to me, and I cannot wait to get 1-clicking for the rest of this fascinating series. Kane and Lilly start of as a friends-with-benefits relationship, which soon moves on to so much more. This is a well written story with is fun, entertaining, steamy, humorous, and with twists and intense chemistry. I highly recommend this for all readers.
Love’s Hot is the last book in this series and as the name says it’s seriously one hot read. Kane and Lilly have sparks flying from the start, they both agree to a friends with benefits arrangement with a no feelings clause as Lilly is not ready to settle down and Kane thinks that he can’t have any type of normal relationship because of his job. This book had my anxiety levels at an all time high and had me with a bit of a tear in my eyes at other. Will they be able to see past their own stubbornness to get their HEA. Sad to see this series end.
This was another fantastic read that I couldn’t put down! Lilly and Kane are super hot with off the charts chemistry. I love a good friends with benefits story and this ticked all the boxes for me. This is a book within a series although it can be read as a standalone but where’s the fun in that? This is such an addictive series that I highly recommend.
Love’s Hot is a beautifully written story filled with plenty of action drama suspense and passion that leaves you falling for Kane. Lilly is one stubborn fiesty woman who likes to be in control. Kane is a hot cop who thrives on control these two together and watch the sparks fly.
The sexual chemistry is insane, however of course nothing goes smoothly when two strong characters love their independence and don’t do relationships. A highly recommended read and can be read as a standalone book.
Amazing friends to lovers book! Hot cop Kane and outgoing Lilly have amazing chemistry. They have a friends with benefits deal since neither does real feelings involved relationships but can they keep it that way? This book is an angsty and super hot must read!
Another fantastic read from Karen Deen. The words just sizzle off the page in her latest novel in the series on the Stevenson family. Lily the youngest of the siblings is young , carefree & used to doing exactly what she likes… until she meets the handsome sexy cop Kane who leaves her spinning after every encounter. Can two people who adamantly refuse to be tied down to a relationship possibly change their mind when their attraction for each other is so strong ? Exciting read.
I love everything about Love’s Hot, Karen really encapsulated Lilly & Kane perfectly. This book is extremely well written and leaves wanting more on each page.
I was intrigued by Kane, he was the right kind of mysterious for me, he has a wicked and dirty mouth and i love how Lilly captivated him. You can’t help but fall in love with these two leads, what starts out as friends with benefits very quickly turns into so much more. What had me pumping my first saying yes was the twists along the way for these two, as a reader I love when I get thrown a twist and I can’t wait to read on to see if my thoughts are correct.
Karen’s detail throughout this book is another reason I connected so well with it. I thoroughly recommend Love’s Hot, if you love a strong yet mysteriously captivating male lead who challenges and evokes pure emotion and passion in his female counterpart than this book is for you. Two friends. One night. No emotions or attachments. Will that be enough for either of these two?
I really liked the story line for this book. I love friends with benefits stories that turn into more, but I really didn’t like the characters. They definitely had chemistry between the two of them, but separately it seemed like they were being forced upon us. I tried to like them, but I just didn’t connect with either Lilly or Kane. Maybe if I go back to read the first four books, it would help, but not sure at this point. Standalone book within a series of five.
This is the first book I have read from this author and this series and I really enjoyed it. This is the fifth book in the series but can be read as a standalone. They do give you glimpses of what happened in the other stories that makes me want to go and read the other books. This is a friends to lovers romance. Kane is a hot, protective, dominate cop who hooks up with his best friends fiance’s sister Lily the youngest must outgoing and feisty one in the Stevenson family. Both couples don’t do relationships but when these two get together the chemistry and attractions is explosive. These two couples are so hot Lily is red and Kane is the wolf.
I won an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.
Love’s Hot but when it comes to Kane and Lilly, love’s an inferno. Two people not interested in relationships for different reasons are drawn to each other like a moth to a flame. As these two enter into a friend’s with benefits arrangement where the rules are set and the first and foremost being NO feelings are to be involved, what could go wrong. You know what they say, rules are meant to be broken. However as the cloud of darkness from his job starts to roll in, Kane will need to ensure that the third rule is put into action. Kane and Lilly’s story is not only as hot as hades but it is angsty, emotional and at times frustrating beyond belief as these too struggle to confront and fight for what they need. A story that completes the Stevenson family with a little fun, a lot of passion and a side of tears and joy. Love’s Hot will have you scorching red hot and howling at the moon, but you might just have to read the book to understand this reference.
