Unlock the secrets in Reunion GapThe only woman he’s ever trusted is about to betray him… to face up to past mistakes and returning to his hometown of Reunion Gap and the family he deserted is the first step.
After her fiancé’s betrayal makes her question her ability to tell an honest man from a liar, Helena Montrey shies away from men. Then she meets Luke Donovan. Her heart wants to tell him she’s the creator of a very successful greeting card line, not the struggling waitress and wannabe-writer he thinks she is. But her brain forces her to wait until she’s sure the former bad boy with an admitted penchant for the open roads and constant change, is in this for keeps.
When the couple arrives in Reunion Gap, the Donovans are waiting for them with a lot of questions, and a ton of concerns. How is it that a woman they’ve never heard of ends up with a man who’s vowed he’ll never be tied down? What’s the woman’s back story? More importantly, what is she hiding? The truth about Helena will come out, and then Luke must decide if he loves her enough to give her a second chance.
The Donovans aren’t going to stand by and watch this heartbreak happen without getting involved. After all, what’s family for, if not to get involved?

Everyone loves a bad boy right???
Luke Donovan is the bad boy every woman wants but Luke’s not the committing type..
Helena Monterey is wealthy woman that creates greeting cards for a company she co-owns with her siblings, after being used for her money by her ex she decides to life a new life where no one knows of her wealth and take her for who she is.. can 2 people so very different find love??)
I am a Huge fan for mary campisi’s books, this book is well written as always, mary never disappoints and always pulls you right in that you can’t wait to turn the page.
I do recommend that you read strangers like us (book 1) and Liars like us (book 2) first just so you understand the some of the other characters
There’s something to be said for communication and honesty, and this is definitely a tail of both. Good story, good outcome, and great characters. We all need to hope for a second chance.
This is the 1st book I read by Mary Campisi. I wanted to like this story but this story is faced paced, confusing, & boring.
Mary Campisi never disappoints
Found myself lost in the story, good story
Such a wonderful story….highly recommend.
Like all of her books, this was a good read. The author always write her characters so realistically. I was not disappointed at all.
Keep the good writing up!!
Normally I like Mary Campisi books, but I quit on this one. Personally I can not abide liars. i don’t care the motivation, which in this case is a lame excuse to be a weak person. There is nothing admirable in harming someone else in a selfish attempt to “protect” herself. Blah, I quit as soon as I read that she had paid a co-worker to pretend to perform a marriage ceremony, even though I know that the formula call for turmoil before the happily ever after.
I always enjoy Mary Campisi’s books . The stories keep my interest. I like to watch the love story unfold and then get angry at the character that is unbending, just shake them for hurting their love. She always gets the characters back together but their road isn’t an easy one.
Helena was hurt by the fiancee who was interested in her money — not in her. She falls for Luke, a down-to-earth guy, but does not trust herself, nor does she trust Luke not to return to his nomadic lifestyle. Luke recognizes that Helena is the prize that will settle him. Luke’s caring, but meddlesome family make it interesting as the two find their way through misunderstandings to believe in themselves and each other.
Twisted Saga. Clearly some unlikeable people in this. Some twisted people. I didn’t like the male lead or the start of his relationship. I skimmed the sex. There is a chief hancho for everybody to hate … in this book and others in the series. Hard one to recommend. Some might like it … others likely won’t
I have read this author before and she always delivers! I loved the flawed characters that find their way through difficult situations! A great read!
