After witnessing Bri Carmichael’s pain, Cole Burkely is determined to help her heal. That home visit changed my life. She is a shell of the person I knew. I just want each day to end so the night can swallow my pain. She still has so much to give.I’m empty.I want to help her stand on her own again.I’m not ready to let go.She’s worth sticking around for.My will to keep moving forward is stalled.I … on her own again.
I’m not ready to let go.
She’s worth sticking around for.
My will to keep moving forward is stalled.
I want to make her smile again.
He has a good heart, but I can’t be the one to take care of it.

Love You Through It is a wondrously written novel that will make you believe LOVE has the ultimate power to stitch, mend, and heal broken hearts. Cole and Bri’s gripping and emotional story is perfectly paced with an equal measure of devastating heartbreak and hope.
The unimaginable pain Bri experiences is felt in every scene and through every poetic word. Cole is the hero with a heart of gold, and his strength is poignantly beautiful.
I wholeheartedly love these characters, the Rebel Desire Crew has become like family to me.
Easily one of my favorite reads of 2018 and a slam dunk from Francisco. I absolutely loved this soul-stirring book.
Love You Through is a heartbreakingly beautiful story of second chances.
Spectacularly written and emotionally captivating, Bri & Cole will be sure to leave an imprint on your soul.
This is book 2 in the the Rebel Desire series and my first time reading Ms Francisco’s work. I absolutely loved this book. Loving you through it is such a heartbreaking read that I have to admit I did cry whilst reading it,
Bri is a army wife and her worst fears come true when she loses her husband in combat, she is broken in every sense and this is a raw emotional journey of her moving on with her life after losing the love of her life. I honestly have the utmost respect to army wife’s as I honestly don’t know how they do it just waiting on that dreaded call, Fabiola did a fantastic job at writing this story line that showed the raw emotions Bri was going through trying to piece together her life again.
Enter Cole, he is the drummer for the band Rebel Desire and I have to say I have thing for drummers (my hubby is one so say no more) he wants nothing more than to be with Bri, but knowing the heartbreak she is going through he hold off. Cole instead is the perfect gentleman and had such amazing patience with Bri and basically just become the friend she needed to get by. You knew the attraction was there for both of them, and you knew this was going to be an emotional journey for both of them.
It takes a lot to make me cry both tears of deep sadness and joy but Fabiola did it, and I honestly loved this book and cant wait to read more in the series,
This is a powerful book with a powerful message about moving on… about putting your pieces back together after you thought everything was done… as you read this book emotions will overcome you and there will be times where tears will blind you.. the author wrote this book in a way that you will feel whatever the characters are feeling within these pages..
Fabiola wrote this inspirational love story perfectly. She shows the ability of the heart and spirit to be broken beyond belief and can still find a way out of the darkness and our ability as people to heal and find love again. Bri has an inner strength that she must find again and Cole is the perfect combination of musician and knight in shining armor who has such a pure love for her.
I loved this book. It’s the 2nd in Fabiolas Rebel Desire series and its just wonderful. It starts out as a tear jerker but once you continue to read thru it you will be completely surprised and awestruck. This is a must read for everyone to enjoy. I sure did.
I thought this was a sweet and heartfelt story. Bri is mourning the loss of her husband who died while in the military. They had so many dreams that they planned on fulfilling when he returned and now Bri is left with heartache and memories of a love lost. She is having a hard time moving on and letting her friends help her mourn. As well as letting someone else in, when her greatest fear is losing them as well.
Cole, the drummer from Rebel Desire and a friend of Bri’s has the looks and the ability to get any girl he wants. However, there has always been something about Bri that makes him want to settle down. He was always drawn to her, even before he found out that she was married. And when he did he had to put his feelings aside and respect her and her husbands relationship. After Josh’s death, he felt a responsibility to take care of Bri and not let her get lost in her mourning and push those who love her away. He is constantly showing up at her door and lending a shoulder or an ear. Bri is oblivious to Cole’s feelings for her and when she learns that Cole likes her more than just a friend, she isn’t sure how to react.
The relationship between Cole and Bri is adorable and respectful. I love how patient Cole is with Bri, moving at her pace and being respectful of her late husband. This story is beautifully written and such a lovely addition to the Rebel Desire series.
🙂
Now I can see why this book is the Author’s favorite, It was a heart breaking beautiful love story and a second chance at love all rolled into one.
I loved everything about Bri from her heart break to her meltdowns to realizing she needed help to felling in love again. I can’t ever imagine the kind of pain she was going through. But I am so glad she had some pretty cool friends to help her heel.
And Cole the man is swoon worthy. To me he was the kind of man that one he found his person he would fall hard. And he really did. But the thing about Cole that I loved the most was that he never really pushed. He knew he had to bide his time and he did…..Amazing
Love You Through It is a story of heartbreak and perseverance. About our friends and family that are there to pick us up when we have fallen and don’t want to get back up. About falling in love again, when life throws the big curve ball.
“Til death do us part. Death did part us. It tore us apart, burying one and leaving the other untouched, but just as dead.”
Bri was delivered a devastating blow and she almost wasn’t able to pick herself back up afterward. If it wasn’t for the faith and love her friends she may not have. Although going into this story I thought that her backstory is what would hurt my heart the most it surprisingly wasn’t.
“I’m here, still making my music. And falling for the widow of a fallen soldier.”
Cole, the man that had fallen for Bri is who tore my heart up. He felt so tortured because he had an instant attraction to Bri when he knew he shouldn’t and couldn’t act on it. His friends gave him such grief that my heart did that weird stutter flip thing. I just wanted to hold him and tell him that it will all be okay.
I really enjoyed Love You Through It and watching Bri breakthrough her depression. Fabiola is a master at writing authentic real life stories. I read this story as if I lived through it myself and I am now dying to get my hands on the next book in the series.
“He is my second chance. Cole is the person bound to me so that I may live out the rest of these emotions with someone. The experience of love doesn’t have to end.
As soon as I knew was in the story, I wasn’t sure my heart could handle it… Such heartache, my heart literally breaking in my chest. But true to Fabiola style, she put it back together in such a loving way. Man-wh*re turned white knight, Cash is what every girls dreams of… he is willing to love someone even if it means nothing in return. Bri’s hurt becomes your own, but her triumphs and joys are as well. Cheering on the journey between the two, this is a love that is all to real in our world. This gives me hope of love after loss. Another home run read!
Love You Through It is the second book in the Rebel Desire series. This is a heartbreaking story about learning to live and to love again.
Bri found the love of her life at a young age, she married, and she became a widow.
Throughout this novel we see the many stages of grief that Bri goes through. We see the anger, the guilt, the sorrow, and the pain. Each stage is even more heartbreaking to see Bri becomes a shell of the woman she once was.
Enter Cole. Cole is the antidote that is just what Bri needs to find life after heartbreak, she just doesn’t know it yet. Cole is dead set on reviving the woman who Bri used to be. Even if it means giving up his own heart as the end game. I admired Cole’s tenacity every time Bri put up her wall blocking people out. He refused to be one of those people and he broke through every single obstacle she threw at him.
I am a sucker for angst and novels that have to do with extreme heartbreak and learning to live through the heartbreak. Francisco does an excellent job at mastering these emotions. I loved the concept of this story. You can’t get anymore real than this novel where true heartbreak is concerned.
Absolutely love this book!!! I couldn’t put my kindle down, from the first word to the last I was into this book. I was right there with the characters, I could feel every emotion just as they were in the book. I cried, I laughed and I loved all through this book.
Wow! Fabiola Francisco blew me away with this beautiful, emotional book! Bri has just experienced a loss that just may destroy her. The love of her life is gone, and she is wondering how she will ever come out of this pain. Cole has been in love with Bri for a long time now. He always respected her love and marriage to her husband. Now, he just wants to help her learn how to live again. His feelings for her are a slippery slope. He wants to be there for her as a friend, but he is also battling his feelings for her. Can he help her feel whole again, and if so, where does that leave him in his relationship with her?
I didn’t read the first book in the series, and I didn’t have a hard time getting to know the characters, so this can be read as a standalone. It is an amazing and heartbreaking book, both filled with sadness and joy. My heart broke so much for Bri. I cannot imagine her pain, but I did want her to see that life had not left her behind. Josh would have wanted her to learn to be happy again. Francisco did such a phenomenal job of illustrating her complicated feelings for Cole.
Cole was a knight in shining armor. He never let her descend all the way down her well of grief. He was so unselfish. He put aside his own deep feelings for her to be her friend and support first. He never pushed her too far. I couldn’t help but fall for him.
I loved the pacing of this romance. It wasn’t rushed, and it shouldn’t have been. Bri and Josh’s romance should never have been downplayed or pushed aside. It was part of who Bri was. I did absolutely love watching her slowly fall in love with Cole.
I also loved that this wasn’t a book just about a new romance. It was a book about grief and how complicated it is. Francisco never spared her readers any of emotions Bri experienced, and it drew me to Bri and her story. I felt everything she did. I am so happy I discovered Fabiola Francisco and this series! I can’t wait to read more!!!!
All the feels in this book just bout tore me up. We always hear about the veterans side, the military man dealing with ptsd and his demons. Not this time. We find out the pain of living through a loss from a love that had no boundaries. Cole has loved her since the first time he met her but won’t be the guy who steals a military man’s love. He watches by the sideline til he can watch no longer. He is patient and a true friend but truly wants more.
This author held nothing back in this warm and fuzzy feel good emotional journey. The little details not many would think about. The celebrations of baby steps. The release. I love this author and when she does a book like this I am so glad I am along for the ride. She doesn’t hold back and for that reason I am forever a fan.
