Love You Now is book two in the duet Love Hurts and picks up right where book one ends. Love Hurts is the perfect duet title for Jackson and Harley. Don’t be Shy and pull the Trigger M on our hearts! HaHa (see what I did there) We all know M loves to be the Queen of Angst and tear out our hearts, just when she starts to piece it back she takes us on a Journey that not even a Move like Jagger can sway us from our hearts beating than not again. Harley and Jackson have had that intense connection since they were little. Through all the bullying and torture they did to each other you saw the love that they both had for each other and the fear of letting go. We may have thought Jackson had a funny way of showing Harley his feelings, but boy oh boy we see a different Jackson in this story. Don’t get me wrong he is still alpha and stubborn Jackson, but his will power is extremely high and you will see what I mean while reading this as I don’t want to ruin it for others. Harley you are a Jameson through and through and besides the connection with Jackson, we felt the hurt and feelings that came with Shiloh and Cash. It was like the saying, “and the truth shall set you free” It wasn’t easy, watching you endure this tortured pain, but it shaped you to who you are today. There is so much more I wish I could say, but that would lead to spoilers so all I can say is grab that alcohol, hold on tight to your device and buy yourself some Sunflowers to brighten your day cause you will need it from beginning to end with this book. I love that it was told from Dual POV and oh boy, history repeats itself and you will LOVE IT! There is not a book that M doesn’t leave you speechless with, has your emotions all over the place and puts a smile on your face even when she leaves you hangin’ for more at the end. ‘Ya feel me! So until we another book by this amazing author go on a Journey and listen to some Johnny/Cash to hold you over!
Yet again M has delivered an amazing story. The conclusion to Harley and Jackson’s story had everything I was hoping for. Frenemies from the time they could walk a love hate relationship like no other. The author doesn’t hide from their faults we see them in stark clarity. After book one you may have perceptions about Jackson but trust me he is going to surprise you. Harley is definitely Creed’s daughter she is his incarnation in a female form. I always expect the unexpected from this author and she didn’t disappoint. With cameos from some of my favourite characters this was an emotional rollercoaster. I am sad this one is over but I know there is more to look forward to.
What a perfect ending to an amazing duet!
I have to say it’s been a while since
M. Robinson has made me cry, she’s made me tear up but no serious tears have fallen, well she got me! Omg I cried like a baby! Happy, emotional tears!
Jackson and Harley’s story has put our hearts through a storm of emotions and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s one of many reasons I love M. Robinson’s stories.
Loved every word of this duet! The pranks, the banter and omg the angst!!
Cannot wait for more!!
4.5 gut wrenching stars
We pick up where the first book ends. Ready to dive into this beauty I couldn’t wait to see where the story was going. Jackson and Harley had me totally falling in love with in Hated You Then and I was so excited to feel that feeling again with these two. Only thing and the reason I didn’t give this 5 stars was Harley. Geez, she totally drove me nuts. I was yelling got over it or leave but of course she couldn’t hear me.
Jackson totally stole the show for me. And as the book went on I grew more emotionally invested with these two. I yelled, I cried, oh boy did I and I loved. This is a really great duet and I highly recommend it

Love You Now is book two in Jackson and Harley’s story. So you absolutely must read Hated You Then , book one in the Love Hurts Duet prior to reading this one. From the moment you meet Jackson and Harley, you know M Robinson is building her story into a slow burn of angst driven romances that’ll leave you bursting with both joy and pain as you read through their tumultuous romance. Robinson did not disappoint.
Robinson know exactly how to drive a reader completely insane while wowing them with her twisted, ugly romances. Both Harley and Jackson are two confused, irritating, pull your hair out pain in the asses that you just can’t get enough from. Their romance it tortured but completely unique making their duet an absolute well worth your one click read.
Although Robinson makes you completely frustrated as times, she has a unique way of making all the angst, turmoil and emotion completely worth your time. I find myself enamored by her writing style time and time again.
This is the 2nd and concluding part of this duet, and what an emotional roller coaster journey this is!! I love the dynamics between Jackson and Harley, as well as the witty banter. This is a beautifully written must read masterpiece, which is filled with angst, humor, emotion, love and an unexpected twist which I for one, never saw coming. This story pulls at the heartstrings from the beginning, and while I am sad that this is the end of this duet, I am excited to find out what this gifted author brings to us next! Bravo Monica!!

Wow. It felt like I went through the wringer this one.
This is book two of the Love Hurts duet—the conclusion of Jackson and Harley’s tumultuous love story… and after the last page, it seems like this series will have more added to it in the future.
I loved book one… it was gripping from beginning to end… I was riveted by Jackson and Harley’s story… and this one picks up where book one left off…
I was so excited to know what will happen… will they or not? What happens to the rest of the crew…etc. Those questions were definitely answered.
To be honest, I felt like it was too angsty and there was too much push and pull between the lead characters. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for angst and push and pull, but I felt like this one was just a tad bit much… I don’t know. It’s probably just me but yes… I wish there was more of them being all lovey-dovey because I felt like they were constantly bickering and to think that this was already book two…
Reading this is weird a combination of frustrating and exciting… does it make sense to you?lol
The heartwarming parts definitely pulled on my heartstrings… I wish there was more of that… and those plot twists in the middle and the end… Oh gosh… I was definitely shocked—and intrigued…
It’s a combination of bully and in-love with your best-friend romance… it’s not a light and easy read…
Overall I enjoyed reading the book… if you’re a fan of Leigh Shen, Kandi Steiner and Penelope Douglas then this is the book to pick up next.

This is book two of Jackson and Harley’s story. As expected, this pair’s love and hate relationship continues with a lot of drama along the way. If you haven’t read book one, then I strongly suggest you read it first and find out their back story and not leave you in the dark.
I would have thought that when these two got older their relationship would become smoother but I was wrong. The previous book ended when Harley was fifteen and she caught Jackson and another girl with his pants down literally. And oh boy, the massive cliff-hanger made me want to throw my kindle on the floor and stomp on it. Book two starts when the pair is now in their mid-twenties and their relationship is still as confusing as ever. The alternating narrative between Harley and Jackson switching from the present to the past (the past was not in chronological order) gave this reader a whiplash from figuring out who did what. But one thing that stands out from these characters is that they are still immature and I felt like banging their heads together.
When Harley gets knocked up and a “shotgun” wedding follows, she still keeps hating on Jackson and this boy/man is as insensitive as ever or so it seems. Jackson presents this stoic facade to hide his fears and Harley’s incessant harping on how much she hates him was exhausting. Their story reminds me of that movie War of the Roses without the violence but it does get better.
To my relief in the last quarter of the book, the author gave the main characters more depth which redeemed them. Jackson opens up to Harley about how he truly feels and tells her of his fears. Harley is more accepting and supportive. All the lies are blown open and et voilá, they find out that being honest and talking to each other is the key to a happy-ever-after ending.
Even though the first half of the book was a bit confusing I couldn’t put this book down because I loved the drama between Harley and Jackson. I got my kicks on trying to guess who’s going to give in first on their verbal tug-of-war. This was a quick and enjoyable read and we finally get to the dramatic conclusion of Harley and Jackson’s saga.
4.25 stars–LOVE YOU NOW is the second instalment in M. Robinson’s contemporary, adult LOVE HURTS duet. LOVE YOU NOW is the continuing story of Harley Jameson and Jackson Pierce-the next generation in the author’s Good ‘Ol Boys series. LOVE YOU NOW should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events of book one HATE YOU THEN.
Told from dual first person perspectives Harley and Jackson jumping back and forth between several time lines, LOVE YOU NOW follows the acrimonious and dysfunctional relationship between Harley Jameson and Jackson Pierce. Raised in the MC lifestyle, Harley Jameson is a strong, independent heroine whose overprotective family finds Harley struggling to move forward with her life. Having fallen in love with her life-long nemesis Jackson Pierce, Harley finds herself in a love-hate relationship; a caustic and petulant love affair with a man she is unable to trust since she was fifteen years old. Life and everything it has to offer finds Jackson and Harley in a loveless marriage of convenience, a marriage Harley believes to be in name only.
LOVE YOU NOW focuses on the back and forth, immature and emotionally volatile relationship between Harley and Jackson. As Jackson’s star continues to rise on the professional football circuit, Harley feels forced into keeping up appearances for the sake of Jackson’s career. We are witness to what was and what will never be; to the fall-out of friendship and love by betrayal, secrets, lies and loss.
M. Robinson pulls the reader into a heart breaking story between two flawed people with issues of trust; broken by secrets and lies, and a lack of communication. Jackson’s need to push Harley’s buttons forces our heroine to lock down and check out affecting their relationship, going forward.
LOVE YOU NOW is a not a story of romance but a love affair hidden behind pain and mistrust. The premise is engaging; the romance is tormented, difficult and impassioned; the characters are colorful but adolescent-like in attitude and behavior.
M finally had me in tears…Never thought I’d reach this feeling and it was uncomfortable yet you can relate to the situations that M has written. How could you not fall in love with Jackson. I mean, he’s beautifully broken. Loves hard. Puts you first. Harley she just carries too much and just needs to just let it go. The past is the past. Always look forward and be in the present. I have to say that this duet was unexpected but I loved the journey of Jackson and Harley.
You cannot read this book before reading Hated You Then! This is the second part of Harley and Jackson’s story.
There’s a reason readers call M. Robinson the Queen of Angst. This story might TOP every single book of hers because the level of angst on this one is off the charts!
I’ve cried, I’ve laughed and I’ve swooned all over this book. My heart shattered and healed.
There’s nothing in this story I didn’t love… the bad and the good both so wrapped in each other you can’t see the end of it. Until you can and it is beautiful!
I have been dreading writing this review because I don’t think my words will do this book justice.
The story picks up smoothly from where the first book leaves off. Jackson and Harley’s dynamic where phenomenal and their connection is not just physical but ethereal. And there were truth bombs that will make your jaw drop.
And it was Jackson’s handling of those bombs that endeared him to me for life. His ability to accept and keep loving on is what makes him the ultimate as a book boyfriend. His subtle ways of doing things despite the issues he was dealing it just goes to show Monica’s ability to manipulate your heartstrings.
And Harley. Oh boy, is she a character! Her in your face, take no prisoners and giving her love one thousand percent to her people was a genuine and refreshing treat to see. And that is why she had such a hard time letting go and see what was right in front of her eyes.
Both these characters had flaws, both of their stubbornness was frustrating to read, and I guess that is why we love Monica’s stories so much, because she brings in the realness, the human element into her stories. As readers, we escape reality through fiction, but Monica truly is one of the writers who brings reality into fiction.
Damn….How the hell does she do it??? How does M. Robinson always seem to make me fall head over heels in love with every single one of her book characters??? I wasn’t a big fan of Hated You Then book, but now getting this book everything came together for me and made me love the whole duet. Jackson and Harley’s story was a story that brought out every emotion possible and their love for each other was so freaking deep that just swoons and melts your heart. I laughed, loved, and cried with these two. The fact that these two would go through hell for one another was what made me love them so so much!!! Their journey wasn’t an easy one for sure, but I loved the good, the bad, the ugly and all the in between. Ladies, this is a MUST FREAKING READ DUET!!! Can’t wait to see what M. Robinson has in store for us all next. That ending will have me impatiently waiting for sure.
Happy Reading Everyone!!!
Harley and Jackson…gasoline and a match
Book 2 in the Love Hurts Duet picks up with Harley being crushed emotionally, plunged into the depths of pain and darkness. Her eternal fight with Jackson still going strong.
These two push and pull , hurt and heal, love and betray. Betrayal that neither can truly comprehend, explain, or possibly accept.
Harley and Jackson travel a difficult path. His fears hold him back from Harley while her distrust festers. Their journey still rides a rocky path. But as secrets slowly unravel, Harley sinks deeper into her pain and Jackson still can’t find forgiveness.
Robinson pulled every punch available in this book. Plots and twists that will give you whiplash. You’ll feel a bit betrayed, anger to your very core, along with hope and a bit of mercy. Buckle up, this ride is wicked.
This is book 2 in the Love Hurts duet. Jackson and Harley’s story put me through the ringer. I laughed with them. I cried with them. I got angry with them. But as always Monica put my heart back together again. Everything they went through only made me love them more. And trust me they went through it. So if you want an enemies to lovers romance then this book/duet is definitely for you. There is a reason they call her the queen of angst!
Good Story
So the epic journey that Jackson and Harley took was quite interesting.
The story was well written.
The end when Jackson and Harley finally broke down all the walls between them was so beautiful. My eyes watered so hard I could hardly see the screen.
The last line of the epilogue I didn’t see coming although I should have lol
Going to be interesting!! I hope Shiloh and Trigger get their day in the spotlight too!

: 4.5/5
So, I was a little bit confused about some things because there are a lot of jumps going back and forth in the timeline. However, it was also really good because that made sure I wanted to keep on reading. Harley and Jacksons story is just such an heartbreaking one. I was relieved that Jackson finally was acting a bit more grown up and little by little started to tackle his issues. There were a lot of twist and turns again and the suspense was killing me at times. Especially the last big twist of the story I did not see coming and I was so shocked. It just added another layer of emotions to it. The book was definitely a slow burn romance, but luckily (tiny spoiler ahead about the ending so stop reading if you do not want to know if they have a happily ever after or not…..) they do have a happy ending and find the love in each other that they deserve and I was just over the moon about it. I loved the epilogue and everything that happened. Loved this crazy ride of a story!!! And let me tell you, love definitely hurts.

Love You Now is only hard to get through if you get frustrated with their continuous bickering, Jackson’s refusal to tell Harley he loves her, and Harley’s refusal to trust him.
M. Robinson writes the best stories of angst, hard lives, and heartbreak that make me suffer right along with her characters until the very last minute when she reminds me exactly how good she is at redeeming each and every Hero and Heroine!
The twists and turns throughout Harley and Jackson’s lives show that the reader cannot read through too quickly, or you miss something. The last twist in this book was not something I could ever prepare for, and had absolutely no idea was waiting patiently to jump out at just the right moment!! 5 AMAZING stars for this beautiful contemporary enemies to lovers romance!!
You met Harley and Jackson in Hated You Then, now you find out what happens. These to are the king and queen of pranking each other, but at some time, they seemed to have found a mutual ground where they acted on the chemistry that was clear to everyone else.
You’re told the story from different times – all the while Jackson is worried that he could have dementia like his mother. Harley and Jackson are complicated, they hated each other, both realise that their hate is turned into more, Jackson know that Harley went from admits that Harley is it for him, needing her more than anything in the world, but can he convince her. Bomb after bomb is dropping leaving you with the WTF moments. Finally, you reach the HEA. Another amazing read by M Robinson.
