Should she? Or shouldn’t she?
When a rough-cut Texas cowboy haunted by his past saves a Park Avenue bride on the run, opposites attract in a big, Texas way in USA Today Bestselling Ann Major’s Love With an Imperfect Cowboy.
Hannah Lewis never imagined she’d run from her own magnificent, Upper East Side wedding. Born and bred in a penthouse on Park Avenue, she excels at everything – except … everything – except maybe juggling a career, planning a wedding and paying attention to her fiancé. But couldn’t he have chosen another day to cheat with her twin sister? Now Hannah’s headed as far away as she can get from New York and her public humiliation. No one will expect to find her at a dude ranch in Lonesome, Texas … but just maybe she can find herself there.
Liam Stark is trying to hold it together on the anniversary of the worst night of his life. When a stuck-up beauty walks into the Lonesome Dove Bar, full of rough truckers and ranch-hands, she’s trouble in red cowgirl boots–trouble that Liam doesn’t need. Especially when he offers her safe haven from a storm on his ranch, and she stirs up memories he’d give anything to forget. Liam has lost too many people he loved–his wife and son on a dangerous stretch of Texas highway, and men under his command in the Afghan conflict. This beauty will be gone in a New York minute as well … unless he asks her to stay.
Attraction flames between them, hot as the Texas sun. But when their pasts cause problems, can they trust each other enough to believe they can share a future?

It’s good but she chickened out. The PTSD was typical which from what I’ve read every case varies. It can’t just be night terrors like all mental illnesses it can’t just haunt you when you’re unconscious. I feel she chickened out with the sister and the innocent explanation, just go there. People do dumb stuff all the time and relationships recover. If he and she are really in love then even a betrayal can be forgiven. The catalytic event that spurred her decision was a cop out as well. She needed to grow enough backbone to face her mother without outside influence. Instead, she ran away from conflict like she does in the first half of the book. I had hope that the badass from the airport would resurface. The beginning with her was really good then it petered out to be typical.
I loved this book.
A really good book!

Easy read. Loved it
Sheds a different light on people who have served in the US military.
I really enjoyed this book. The beginning was gripping and then it moved into a very sweet and becoming story. My only disappointment was that I could not track a continuation of the story with the male characters family. It only seemed to continue into the female characters family, which seemed sweet but there was a mystery surrounding the male character and I would have loved to have read more into that.
Easy reading fun book
Who wrote this? A bipolar and perhaps delusional woman? My apologies to those mentally ill. I would say that the book held premise and potential but quite frankly it never fully took off before it failed. The prologue for instances has no place in this story as it doesn’t really pertain to the hero and heroine. Then if you bother to read the rest of the story as I painstakingly did then this is what you’ll read: palatial, princess and the pea, feeling huge, Mindy and Charlie, my twin Nell, my parents, matching pillows, rich and poor, fancy, and then random footnotes. If you can get past all of that and continue reading prepare yourself for the most unlikeable hero and heroine. He’s moody and scarred. She’s a doctor masquerading as a dimwitted doormat. They constantly have sex and fight. Fall in love in a short time how long I can’t tell you because there was no sense of time. If you cut half the sex scenes, footnotes, repeated words and/or paragraphs this book would easily fall under 200 pages. I do not intend to bash the author and I’m sorry if this review is less than ideal but when were these rampant thoughts going to head in the right direction. An editor perhaps ?! It’s like the author was trying to write another version of “ Sweet Home Alabama” but with extra exaggerated country and nose in air rich class New York. Oh! And to make matters worse or even more unlikeable there’s a preview to the second book in the series about Nell the twin sister and James ( heroine ex’s husband ) like who wants to read about such rabid disfunction no thanks as they are the reason the heroine marriage was destroyed in the first place.
A fun plot, wonderful characters! Delightful romance!
Awful,awful,awful. Don’t waste your money.
I could not put this book down
Very good read!
Rather depressing, hero was tormented, semi-suicidal and refused to get any help. I couldn’t see why the heroine was so interested in him; she would wake up in the middle of the night to the hero having a nightmare and choking her (good thing he didn’t snap necks…). Also, book needs more editing, randomly characters such as [J016] would appear in the book without rhyme or reason. Upon reaching the end of the book found notes explaining the code such as “[J02] Repetitive”
Really liked it. I read a lot and this one was exceptional
A very enjoyable reading experience
It was a great story line, but it could have done without the steamy parts. They weren’t necessary.
