Thought it was well written and kept me interested
Love Unexpected is a wonderful start to the Beacons of Hope series. I read it every spare moment that I could and enjoyed every page. Hedlund’s previous release, Captured by Love, was a great read. However, it didn’t top my favorite Hedlund novel, and it lacked a certain something that kept it from being a 5-star read. I liked it a lot, but I …

Excellent story of salvation of an ex-pirate and a lost lady seeking a new future.
Strong characters, a believable story and a sweet romance make this a very readable book.
Clean romance that had an inspirational message of redemption and forgiveness. It is a Christian story which is why I appreciated it.
Different dubject than the usuL. Was a nice change. Also the thoughts of the characters were known to the reader
Loved this historical Michigan Christian fiction.
I liked the book and its theme that beauty is what is inside and that a man who is strong can also be gentle and kind. I liked the fact that I did not need to worry about suggestive and explicit passages that would cause me to need a brain flush when I was through reading it.
Loved the setting. I’m not familiar with the history the Great Lakes & their lighthouses and I enjoyed being transported back in time there. Sweet characters too.
