Hating the guy who ruined her confidence would be a lot easier if he wasn’t so freaking sexy.
For Addy, small-town life is just perfect. She’s about to expand her inn with ten new rooms and a petting zoo, and she’s helping the mayor’s son organize his wedding. If only her pet duck would stop escaping all the time, her days would be an absolute breeze. But then Justin Miller shows up at Addy’s … breeze.
But then Justin Miller shows up at Addy’s check-in desk. The guy went from small-town stud to lead actor in a popular series, and he’s behaving exactly like the celebrity he is. Smug grins, dimples to die for, and hordes of women chasing him all over town.
Addy has no intention of letting him in her life again—not after what happened in high school. So what if he keeps trying to prove he’s changed? No amount of helicopter rides and intimate outings will change the truth:
Justin Miller is nothing but trouble.

Justin used to torture Addy in school. Now he’s a famous actor. He’s back in town for a wedding and staying at her inn. Not only that he’s hot as all get out and he says he only treated me like that because he liked me! This was a fun and sweet read.

Love to Prove you Wrong is the second book in the Old Pine Cove series, this time starring the lovely and sweet Addy.
Addy runs the towns in and dreams of opening a petting zoo to accompany it. She’s stressed out between hosting a huge wedding and planning for the spring picnic. When on top of it her high school nemesis Justin returns to town for the wedding and stay on the down low now that he’s an actor.
Addy is still holding onto old wounds from high school while Justin wants to prove to her he’s not the same guy he was at 16. It’s a push and pull between the two through the story but they sure do make it engaging and interesting!
I couldn’t get enough of these two, I loved how much growth Justin’s Character showed and Addy is adorable. Sophie writes her characters so well you feel like you’re visiting old friends when you pick up one of her books. Her characters are funny, witty and charming which are always a great combo. It’s an engaging and her books are definitely a page turner, once you start because you won’t want to put it down. I cannot wait to read Olive’s story next!
4.7/ 5 stars

Love to Prove You Wrong is a wonderful book! The book is engaging, fun, romantic and hilarious. I love the characters! They are wonderful. Addy and Justin are just perfect together. They are so relatable, interesting, smart and fun. Their witty banter had me laughing. This is such a cute, sweet romance. The plot is engaging. The setting of the inn is interesting and fun. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.
So, I really can’t say enough good things about this book! I have read all of this author’s books, but they just keep getting better. I loved this book for so many reasons, and I literally read it in one sitting. The characters were so likable and believable, I felt as though I actually knew them.
Addy was such a wonderful character because she was a strong woman who didn’t need anyone to “save” her, but at the same time, she was smart enough to know that letting someone in didn’t mean you were weak and needed to be rescued. On top of that, she is absolutely hilarious. She had me laughing out loud on several occasions. Also, Justin’s character was amazing as well because he showed so much growth and persistence, and he was funny as well. I think anyone who is looking for someone who will make a grand gesture to win them over would absolutely swoon over Justin. He was that perfect amount of cocky and sweet that has you wishing you could actually meet someone just like him.
Not only were the characters fantastic, but the storyline was so good as well. It was a little bit of a fairytale, but one that you believe could actually happen. I thought it was engaging and fun, and I think everyone could find something to enjoy in this book. I definitely recommend it.
