My club and family—by blood and by love—have been my life. My biological family taught me loyalty and love. They instilled me with the morals and showed me the important values in life. Protecting women and children is my job as a man. My club affirmed that love, and loyalty is what a good relationship is founded on. Riding hard and having my brothers’ backs comes from loyalty and love.My life … love.
My life has never been easy, but I know I would never walk away from my club or my family. We have storms brewing with another motorcycle club. We are waiting for the other boot to drop, and then I meet Emma. Emma’s everything I never knew I needed, but also everything I can’t see myself letting go. Emma is beautiful, sassy, and self-reliant—things I never found attractive in a woman. She has a problem with motorcycle clubs. I have to remind her—Love The Man, Love The Club.

I have never read a book by Penny Anglene but I will be looking for more. Vera Quinn’s books have always been awesome.
Trent and Emma were great characters and I loved them together but I had already fallen in love with Emma’s character from the beginning because she was such an independent person. Trent being her man just made it perfect because he didn’t try to change her or take over her life.
I will be looking for more books by these two ladies and really watching out for the next book in this series. I like this work so much.
Emma and Trent are cute together. They steamed up my kindle and I enjoyed watching them get their happy ending.
Trent/Savior and Emma are great characters. Emma is strong, feisty and a confident woman while Savior is loving and loyal. Loyal to Emma, his family and his club. After a rough start to their relationship they work through getting to know each other in a bit of a rush though it seems like they were always meant to be. A great story!
What a great start! The chemistry of Savior and Emma was off the charts! I enjoyed their interaction together. Great family by blood and brotherhood are entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know some of the other characters. I can’t wait for the next book!
I feel like another issue I had is I really struggled to connect with these characters and although they were okay they weren’t anything memorable for me and I think it was just okay. Like I didn’t feel much about them, like for a life and death situation I really didn’t care that much about the outcome of it. (As bad as that sounds).
So as much as I wanted to love this book it just fell a little flat for me.

Love the Man, Love the club is the first collaboration between Penny Anglene and Vera Quinn and it is definitely worth the read. I absolutely loved Emma and Savior. Emma is sassy bad ass, but also strong enough to lean on her man. Savior is Strong, alpha, but is also caring .
The book is very well written, and they seem to intertwine themselves and their writing very well.
The only thing I would mention is I noticed some other seem to feel there are some wholes in the story. And I think it is fair to say that in order to better understand the story line, you should consider reading Penny Anglene’s Books Jax and Samantha first before reading Love the Man, Love the club. It is not imperative but it will help have a better understanding overall and make the book more enjoyable overall.
I would definitely recommend Love the Man, Love the Club and can’t wait to see what these two ladies have in store for us.
I have just finished reading love the man , Love the club by Penny Anglene and Vera Quinn .
I liked Emma at first she was a bounty hunter working in the family business with her brothers . And being the only girl in the family her brothers and father treated her more like a helpless princess then the ballsy , independent hot headed beautiful woman she was . And because of the treatment from her family she had something to prove and kind of had a bit of a chip on her shoulder. She swore black and blue she’d never let anyone tell her what to do or how to do it yet as the story unfolded I found she gave in alot to Saviour saying one thing then completely caving in the next .
Saviour was was VP of his Mc women and children were to be protected at all costs he found an attraction in Emma and wanted to take things further . However when they hooked up it was the highlight of her life yet he was so drunk he didn’t remember a thing and how did he get from Emma’s place to the club house if he was so drunk I know that pug apparently brought him back but how did that happen ? Was he standing outside Emma’s house all night just waiting for him to come out ? There where a few holes in this story and some things didn’t make sense . Like Katie , Emma’s best friend for instance. How could she have not known she had a 8 year old son ? And Garr the president of the club and the way he tested Emma and the lengths he went to to keep Saviour and Emma apart didn’t make sense to me .
Or the back story with some of the characters and why Emma was taken . To many plot holes for me to have been really able to have enjoyed this book as much as I wanted to. I think the story itself has alot of potential and if there was to be some tweaking here and there I’d definitely read it again. I like both Penny and Vera and will definitely continue to read books from these ladies again for sure just this one is couldn’t relate to.
I enjoyed getting to dig in to Trent, whom we’ve met in a previous series. He’s this tough, loyal biker that is struck with this intense spark when he meets Emma. Oh my, I like Emma. She’s very strong and very determined. There’s a lot going on in this story, drama, a lot of characters, suspense, some nail biting, heat and this insta connection with Trent and Emma. I was pulled in to the story, curious as things played out and definitely interested in where things will go for some of these others we met.
Trent and Emma meet when she comes to the club house about her case. Trent is a member of the mc and Emma is a bounty hunter and ranger. The two end up having a one night stand that Trent doesn’t remember because he was too drunk. Emma ends up with consequences from their sex that night and tells Trent. Trent decides he wants to make a go of it with Emma and see where things can take them. A good read with a take charge heroine and hero.
I loved this book! Trent and Emma are a very lovable couple. This book is a well fast paced read.
Trent is the VP to the Haunted Hills MC, Emma is a bounty hunter. They meet when Emma goes after a jumper that is a member of his club.
I can’t wait for more! Who is next?
What happens when a bounty hunter and MC president fall in love? You will need to grab this fast paced action packed book to find out. I loved how Trent was a sweet alpha who always puts his woman first. Emma is a strong willed woman who will not be held back by anyone. Lets face it she is the youngest child with lots of older brothers so an over bearing man is not new to her. I enjoyed the fact that both are take no nonsense kinds of people. They speak their minds and are utterly and completely honest with each other. There is mystery, suspense, and lets not forget the hot sexy times between the two of them.
This is the 1st in a new series from these talented authors and Saviour and Emma’s story is a perfect beginning. Emma is a fearless bounty hunter with seven overprotective brothers. Trent / Saviour is attracted to Emma from the moment she enters the club house for one of his brothers. This is a well written story which is filled with action, twists, and love. I was hooked and intrigued throughout, however, the only down-side in my opinion only is that this story felt a tad too rushed. I look forward to reading more in this fascinating series and recommend for all.
This is only the second book I have read by Penny Anglene and Vera Quinn is completely new to me. I was intrigued by the title and couldn’t wait to see how this story would play out. Emma is quite a capable chick, a former Army Ranger and now a bounty hunter. Trent or Savior as his brothers in the MC call him can’t help but be attracted to her when a job brings her to their clubhouse. When they spend one night together, Trent is so inebriated that he cannot remember anything. His ghosting in the middle of the night doesn’t leave Emma feeling great about what to her was an amazing night. When that night has unforeseen consequences, she works up the guts to tell him. When he realizes what all happened, he is determined to build a future with her. This was a fun read but it had some parts where there was too much detail focused on mundane things. It caused the flow of the story to drag here and there but not too badly. The one thing that I couldn’t ignore was the two scenes involving her OB/GYN. The first visit would have entailed an internal ultrasound as she wasn’t far along at all. When she goes back later with Trent by her side, some of the behavior and actions of the doctor would have made more sense for her first visit. Its almost like they should have been switched around. Overall, it was an enjoyable read and I’m curious to see where the authors go with this series.
Love the Man, Love the Club by Penny Anglene & Vera Quinn is the story of Trent and Emma.
Emma is a tough little package with her military background, 7 older brothers who she now works with as a bounty hunter. So it nothing for her to go into a MC and take down a one of the MC members. This is where Trent gets his first glimpse of Emma. Trent is the VP for the Haunted Hills MC and is quickly attracted to her but he is advised to stay away from her. But they end up meeting again but this time he is really drunk but it doesn’t stop him from wanting her nor them acting on their attraction. But, Trent is have a blurry memory of their time but is confronted when it because something more than a hot encounter.
I am so glad I read this book. From the beginning I was hooked. Also, decided that even though it is a stand alone book that I wanted to go back and read Ria and Samantha’s story. I also knew that once Debbie’s is released I was going to want to read that one too. Why? Cause this story was addicting. I had a hard time putting it down. I immediately had to know more. From the moment Trent/Savior “met” Emma for the first time he was taken with her. Emma on the other hand was more worried about her bounty than meeting anyone from the MC. Emma doesn’t show interest until the second time they meet. I was so engrossed in the story that I was muttering “advice” under my breathe that I didn’t know I was doing it till my husband asked me what I was saying. You know it is a good book if you can hook a person into the story and they are wrapped up in it. Something like when you are at a scary movie and you want to shout out to the character on the screen and say “run”. Only I was saying “seriously, you didn’t connect the dots” and the put my hands to my head and shake it. I had to admit the favorite part is all the drama that happened after Emma was saved and everything started to blow up and then get sorted. But is does make sure you want to read the next story or the backstories to find out what is going on or what happens to bring everyone to that point. The story does mention that something happened to Debbie and Ria when they were children and I wanted to know what and how their story would come out. Same with Samantha. Then at the end of the story when the drama has me on pins and needles and anxiously waiting for the next book to come out and hope it is Garr and Debbie’s turn. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves MC romance.
Well this was a good fast paced read. Trent, a member of Haunted Hills MC, and Emma, a bounty hunter meet when Emma goes to the Clubhouse to get a jumper, Snake. Trent is impressed when she takes Snake down and is warned by his Prez to keep his distance from her. That works for a hot second until they meet again at a nightclub and have a one night stand that Trent can’t remember. That one night turns into a whole other story when she returns to the Clubhouse with a surprise for Trent. Their journey proceeds quickly and is full of surprises and leaves you anticipating what’s going to happen next.
Usually I say wonderful or great characters. And there were some, BUT there were some really tough characters (or scary!). Great storyline. Loved the title, fit the story well. And the cover model was perfect for Trent/Savior! I really enjoyed Emma and her resilience!
I bought the paperback from Author Penny Anglene at Committed in Louisville 2021 !!!
Trent and Emma’s story is so beautiful, instant connection between them. He slowly shows her what it means to love the club, even when things get crazy and all is happening at once. As VP of the club, he needs someone strong and loving to him and his brothers. I love the character building in this world, hoping to see more books in this series.
I loved it. Savior and Emma have an instant attraction and one night turns into a fast paced romance with drama, action and a HEA. The other characters mentioned in the story leave you intrigued and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. A recommended MC read.
I think this series has a lot of potential. Since I haven’t read Penny’s prior books, a little of the crossover was lost on me. I loved the idea of a female bounty hunter getting together with the VP of an MC. Very original. And her being a former Army Ranger and the youngest after 7 brothers was great. I could see her not wanting to be told what to do, though the way Savior would do it, made it work for her. He took the less traditional way of explaining which most MC guys never do.
Danger stalks both his club and her separately. Nice twist on who was responsible for her end of book dilemma. I wanted to know more about her friend Katie, and what happens with Saul. And Savior’s sister, Debbie, and Garr will make an excellent book as well. It sets the stage well for more books in this series.
There were a few areas that seemed a tad rushed or could have been written differently to make things clearer but overall a really good start to a new series. i will be reading Penny’s other books to get the back stories I didn’t know.
